But the reason I mentioned tomak, as i said was not for style, can control, or skill... it was because no matter where i went in winnipeg, i saw his shit. no matter if it was a rooftop, a garbage dumpster, his shit was there. He bombs the streets and he does it more then everyone else (it appeared to me). I dont know him, so all that other stuff about him didn't effect my descision... i saw his shit and that's it. You cant tell me that doing filled in multi-colour pieces on a second floor in your face rooftop is not tough to pull off, especially 2 blocks away from the cop shop and 3 blocks away from the tim hortons.

I had a rooftop on portage and sherbrooke, and a ground up somewhere along some tracks... but mostly I was hitting freights. Winnipeg is amazing for the freight scene... does anyone know if thunder bird is from MB? I went into a yard that almost every rail car had one of his streaks on it.

WOW, I remember that day.. I was with manix and Cel I believe.. they hit the other side of that very car... I was standing on a loading dock platform next to the freight with my paintbrush (for the pink primer since that was all I had) and the plan was to do an extenda-3D on the left side with some other random effects... unfortunately the spot we were at (some local montreal backshop that was closed for the night) wasn't as safe as we thought.. Well anyways some kind of alarm went off and we had to run like hell across this field with holes and other shit in it. We stopped going there after that. This was back in 2003 I believe, here in montreal. About 95% of the freights I hit were done in the winter when piecing walls doesn't work all that well. I never get flicks of my trains, so if you get any... send them over.

best help you'll ever get is take your time, you bust one out "really fast" its gonna look like you did it "really fast". thats a poor excuse, take your time and try to think about what you wanna do with it. your new keep that in mind no one expects you to be pulling out the burners so try to kick it up a notch , but only for yourself, and try to give yoursself the self respect you deserve, .....cause no one wants to see what some kid what took longer to colour in than it did to draw.

this is actually a pretty good debate, and one that i've had many times over, whats better quantity or quality, both have their places in graffiti, and realistically very few people actually achieve both. like sure anyone can bomb, but it does take alot of dedication to get up the way it should be down, but at the same time getting up like that can result in a lack of quality and vice versa, you can paint the dopest burners, but if you don't do very many, its hard to expose yourself the way someone can with bombing.

i doubt anytime soon peopel in winnipeg will be showing off burners in locations that would be typically be deemed for bombing ( an example would be that billboard on pembina and grant) but then again on the reciving end of bombing and peicing are differnt, bombing is just there in your face where any tom dick and larry can see it, and thats just the point of it, you want tom to say to larry did you see that shit that dick did at portage and main at 5pm rush hour.

with peicing you get what you can almost call treasure hunters, no not everyone is gonna see it, and realistically very few people will probably see them in person, but the ones that do see it will appreciate it on a whole other level than someone could express with doing a throw up.

but in the end run its all the same game.....

gotta have the script to compliment your tag...
gotta have the tag to compliment the throw up...
gotta have the throw up to compliment your peice...

some people don't even neccessairily go through the steps of progression.... but the ones who seem to stand up to the test of time usually do.... my own observation anyway. this bandwagon is only so big.

but my point of all this was ..... Quality Vs. Quantity?
do you want a big bag of weed? or do you want a little bag but has the same ratio of good ness to each one?
