ya not realy into the whole hop-hop rap thing, so after watching some graff vids like subway stories and lady in red i wanted to know what some of those songs where, i never knew that hip-hop had a drifty techno side, and that yall where capable of singing about stuff outside of bithes, money, & shooting up da block.

well you should have said what songs would be good for graff videos not what song are there on those 2 videos cuase then your facing a majority of people who have probly havent see it yet..... so in this case i think "the world is yours" by NaS and "Represent" by NaS would be tight ILLMATIC!!!

i cant help you since i never saw the movies but what i do sometimes when i have the same problem i listen to the lyrics carefully and try finding songs with names that you hear in the lyrics often like if the guy keeps saying big hallow seals in the song id try to look up big hallow seals in like limewire or wtv u use. know what i mean

Yah... There's a lot of good hip hop out there that ain't about that crap... You just gotta find it. The good thing about hip hop that you don't see in many other types of music is that once you find one good hip-hop artist, if you listen to his whole album you'll probably find a few other artists that you'd like too. :blink:

That shit on tv ain't hip-hop except for a select few groups holding it down. All that stuff shouldn't be called hip-hop any more it's 'urban' music.

Also why hasn't anyone mentioned MF Doom yet? I can't recall him being in any graff videos but he's still dope.
