so im sitting here trying to go from half inch to 5/8
everyone advised me not to taper or use anything to go bigger just wait till they are loose enought via pulling on em and what not.

i get the left side through, then go to do my right side and its not going through i keep pulling and pulling till i finally say fuck it. i get right now 4 pencils and two pen inks in there trying to stretch it out a little more before i jump back into pulling it through. i got blood running down my neck. and down the pencils to my hoodie. anyone have any suggestions at all?

actually you should wait 1-2 months between stretches. everyone is different obviously but if you want healthier lobes in the long run its better to wait longer. and on the taper issue, tapers aren't a bad thing they are a good way of stretching if your actually doing it right. if you have smaller gauges like 14-2g then getting heavy metal rings are the easiest thing to do cuz they stretch the lobe for you

ive been thinking about dropping black/grey fade for the 3D to make the letters stand out.
im having a hard time deciding on how intricate the fill is going to be...im leaning towards something more simple, staying with the flow of curves and shit. im trying to make the letters stand out and be a little more legible to the untrained eye...if that makes any sense

What's the best way to go about figuring out something nice to get tattooed?
Obviously graff tattoos are out of the question as I got bashed like no other, although are graff characters or any graff production/logos a bad idea? Such as 123klan stuff? I don't want to get a quote, religious meaning, or music related stuff tattooed. Just basically art, makes sense to get a tattoo of art, but art really is only the art I like.
