it's probably just stretched, or your ring is too small for the size of the needle that was used to pierce ya.

its not really a big deal, but i would recommend moving up a size.

i was pierced with a 12, but i kept a retainer in it for work. the retainer was too bi and stretched the hole, so now i gotta decide if i want to go out and buy new jewelry, or keep my old, small ring and just wait for it to tighten again

then you need to work on your hand man your not putting shit in hard enough, i sugest tattooing on a part of yourself like your upper thy, somthing small that way u can see how much pressure it really takes to have the ink take to the skin and also it will help you adjust your machine and its settings

craola and alex have told me i dont need here permission anymore to get there work tattooed sence i have over 6 from both of them combineds they love me taste and my work but i HAVE asked them the first time only thing that they request is a picture, i currently have alex's fav tattoo of his drawning (UV active bunny on my side....

ive gotten permission and talke to each artist before i get there work....

in my experience when you skip a size or gauge too soon you think it went fine until a day or 2 later...then your ear is bloated and leaking strawberry yogurt

everyone's ears are different though...i know people who just gauge up fast as fuck, then when they get blowout they just cut that shit off with a razorblade

yeah punches leave bad scars... my neck for instance i got perm vampire bites.... but i dont mind at all im covered in scars from pericings gettin ripped out..

my friend got his ears gauged at a 4 and went up to a double 0 in a month or so..would of been faster but when he went to a 0 witch he had to keep on going to 2 times was from them gettign knocked out once at a party and another at a show in town. i was there every time he went up he did it himself but nothing realy happend except a little swelling for a little bit. but dont get your ear punched or cut inless u want them to stay like that forever..

Well there are exceptions. Getting graffiti tattooed would probably end up most successful when being tattooed by someone who is also a writer which as luck would have it is a heavy influence in tattooing and vice versa. Having someone that understands how a piece works will make it turn out so much better stencil or not.

Hate to say it, but my snake bites are at 10 ga.

And to be honest, I never liked them much either. They are pretty cliche and this whole "emo trend" has made them even more so.

The only reason I even have them, is because I originally only had the center of my lip pierced, which ended up causing gum recession so I took that one out, and pierced the side of my lip, but that on it's own, was just... so fucking gay. Thus I ended up poking another one into the other side. And somehow, I thought it was better. Ha, I laugh now... but dear god. I'm a fag. :p

I only just recently stretched mine up to 10. I originally pierced them at 16, both of them, just as it was easier jewelery to follow the 14ga needle with... that whole drop down size piercing actually works pretty well, being as you can fit the end of a 16ga labret stud very nicely into the end of the 14ga needles.

Ha, and that sounded a bit mean before, to myself and to you, Alias. I really like them now, I think they suit me quite nicely. Ha, it's just again, it comes down to a trend thing with me. As it's pretty obvious due to the number of tattoo's and piercings and other mods that I've got that I'm really quite serious about Body mod. it's my life. It's what I plan on doing for the rest my life; not just adding to my own collection but being able to add to other people's as well.... Ever since I first found this... "subculture" of body modification, I've known it's what I want to do for the rest of my life.

One side I had done at a 14 and gradually gauged it to 10, the other I had pierced right at 10. They fit me and I loved how they looked, which is why I miss them. I also missed the adrenaline rush I got when the 10 gauge needle got shoved through my lip haha.

haha, yeah the rings were huge. The place I got them at only had standard sized 10 gauge hoops for ears. As far as spacing, I got them pierced at seperate times and the first one was a little in, and I had to match it so thats how it came out.

As far as a dermal on my lips... shew not a chance. Maybe on my ears or something, but not the face. I like needles more anyway.

Ha, yeah well, I can see why you wouldn't wanna dermal your lips... they tend to leave some pretty severe bruising. I was walking around rocking black eyes for about a week when I got my implants done.

And yeah, my snakebites were done at seperate times too, and thus make it impossible for me to wear anything but CBR's... as one is a tiny bit lower and when I wear studs I can see it.... other people claim they don't notice, but you know how it is.... You notice what's on you... and what's wrong with them.

Ha, and I dig large needles too, haha but when you've been poked by as many as me, you tend to get bored and look for something different.

And I got lucky, my 10ga CBR's are special. They have these nifty little spring loaded beads that pop in and out real easy. spent a pretty penny of BME on them... Because, ha i hated having to wrestle with them every time I wanted them out.

Pfft, and every time I've gotten a lip piercing, and as mentioned I've had three now, along every part of my lip, both sides and center, I've immediately fucked them up. Whether it was fighting or fucking hahah or anything, I have a knack for fucking up fresh piercings...

For instance, my poor new implants have been banged around alot, and the way microdermals work is they're permanent right, like an implant, and thus the skin heals around the jewelery piece and the scar tissue forms around it and holds it in place... and due to how much bumping around mine have gotten since they've been done, they sit kind of angled against my cheek bone, rather than completely flush as they should, being they're flat disk jewelery.

Also, check the bruising. The like, topless picture of me, (the first one) was day 3 of having them done and the other two are day 4. And as you can see, I'm rocking the double black eyes. (looks like I'd been told... TWICE :p )

Exactly why I opted for them. I was actually (I'm PRETTY SURE) the first person in the lower mainland to get those done. So go me. I originally had an anti eyebrow surface piercing, but as they do, it rejected. Same with my damned cleavage bar.

I believe the next microdermal I'm opting for is a third eye. (pretty self explanitory, I hope?)

But I definately say go for it. They are alot less common as you know, they're permanent, the only way to get those bad bitches out is to have them cut out...


I say go for the Frankenstein microdermals. They're pretty rad and they're also not quite as visible, as say... mine :p

Ha, if not, I just recently saw another really rad set of microdermals, done to look like a vampire bite on your neck. (I think they're fucking RAD.)
