Only its different for me because I feel compelled to rack. I think people are cruisin' too easy, asshole store owners want to have a place filled with shit to sell, but no responsibility, don't wanna put in the work just let the store run itself. That and before I was of age then I had to in order to get paint. Maybe if I knew the paint was going to stay up and be a worthwhile investment it'd be different. but the best way to rack is to be a customer. i grab something big like a black book or sketch pad, then pick up other smaller stuff walk around and pocket that shit. wen people see u in the store they will only notice the big book in ur hand. then i just pay for the book and leave. this is the only way i rack shit. its the easiest way for me at least

For example my dad used to rack VHS recorders and leather jackets and all kinds of stuff cuz there were no security tags and all that shit. Racking isn't impossible.. But its lot more difficult then it used to be. For example 2 years ago every writer (the most I knew) in my city racked his paint . Now all these stores got their cans in glass shelves.. Shit isn't easy like it looks like in "bomb the sytem". With sum dumb ass lock.. Only way I could reach the paint is by breaking the fucking window.... I'm used to buying, I only rack when it's super easy for me to do it, like when the guy's busy as fuck and not paying attention to what I'm doing at all... I don't really put effort into doing the whole racking performance

It's plain and simple, i make good money. I don't drink or smoke so i save money there. Why sit around trying to steal shit paint when i can buy the good stuff and help support my local graff shop. It's not 1980 anymore, graffiti is everywhere and not everyone who does it is some kid from the streets in poverty. This is what I do, because here in Hawaii you gotta be 18+ to buy paint and shit i'm only 16 yo!

1. Walk in to Walmart with 2 walmart bags in your bag (or your pockets if you can fit).
2. Grab one of those shopping baskets and quickly whip out the wal mart plastic bags and stick them in your basket.
3. Go to the paint isle and get on your phone and be like "yea so what color did you say you needed for the car (or bike) ..." lols. But be quick.
4. Place selected cans in basket.
5. Look for an isle where a camera is only pointing one direction, and walk away from it (your back facing it) while inconspicuously holding the basket in front of your body and putting the paint in the walmart plastic bags.
6. Go to an isle near the front of the store and quickly grab the plastic bags outta your basket.
7. GET THE FUCK OUTTA THERE.
8. Bomb with free cans :)

I get about 5-6 cans with 2 walmarts bags like this, but more is possible.

And even though walmart's filled with cameras, they're just there to scare you, just be a smooth criminal and don't trip!

I usually steal markers or bingo dabbers etc. that can fit in my pants/hoodie. But just because the price for it is kinda extreme and I would never waste money on them. I never tried racking cans, I could see myself doing an awkward waddle to the exit with my crotch making a rattling noise the whole way. Most of the store owners seem to be staring at me the whole time too.
