one thing not to do is add any like permanent marker ink with paint, it creates a messed up paint/ink (pink), i added blue with white paint, and it came out beige and then it dried and if water hit it the blue would bleed out, its crazy, oh and if its sealed in something, dont shake, cuz it will blow out like vinegar and baking soda

It will only blow up if you use spray paint as ink in your marker, And you be a dumbass and dont let your spray paint sit in a bowl outside for a day till the aerosol is fully leaked from the paint. Aerosol mixed with things cna make them fizz and shit, and it melts threw certain types of plastic, so if you dont let the aerosol out of the spray paint in a bowl and just put it straight into a marker, it will likely fizz and youll have a big mess on your hands. I made that mistake the first time i did it.

that would have to be a super f'd up angle considering his thumb is on the right side of the marker..

i tried that before. the effect is pretty cool if you do it right. when u make it nice and drippy it starts off plack and as it thins out it turns blue. it looks pretty sick. it works with other colors and black too. i got it with red oncr but i cant get it n e more

yeah
can we talk about dying inks/leather dyes with food coloring
sounds like a good way to get some fresh custom colors
anybody up for some experimentations?

No, no, no. You can't mix food coloring and ink. Food coloring is water-based, and will water down your leather dye/inks. It's pointless to do, trust me.

HURRAY FOR ROGUE SWOOPING INTO SAVE THE DAY!!!
i swear to god you ve got eyes in all the threads waiting for a poor innocent toy like me to say something and just come in kick ass
but what if the ink is shitty water based ink like the stuff already in the postermans?

Your not asking a stupid question, it's just not something thats really been covered. Haha, I'm not saving anything, only helping out, but thanks.

And you could add it to water-based inks, but it would water them down even more. I would add it to a White Posterman/Woddcraft and make some crazy color.

its all good till the cops come

didnt really know where to ask this but a friends of mine gave me a syringe full of cobalt. its not the powder it kind of has the same texture as honey and is deep purple - blue so i was thinking that i could somehow turn it into paint or ink or whatever. but i really have no idea what im doing and apparently this shit is toxic as fuck so i dont want to go mix it with random chemicals and make some crazy caustic gas and kill myself haha so basically does anyone have any suggestions or has tried soemthing similar before? thanks

^ wow I would look into what it is made of first I'm no chemist other then high school classes so I can't be of much help but thanks for necroing this post. I would have. Ever thought that food colouring would work and the effects that people are talking about would be dope. I guess if you were to add dye to bucket paint it would need to be acrylic not oil based.
