40sls and since the flood was tonight in nashua but i... fucking went and saw hoods and furious styles instead realizeing the reason i went was because of hammerbros who showed up and fucking dropped it after 10 minutes of being there. <_<

Forgot to mention that the American Hardcore documentary was fuckin&#39; amazing. Great footage from a lot of the 80&#39;s hardcore punk pioneers. If you&#39;ve read the book or are into the late 70&#39;s and early-mid 80&#39;s hardcore then I highly recommend seeing it. I rented it from Netflix, and I plan to buy it as well.

"3 years ago, we started this house, we bought it specifically to have shows, our only goal has been to provide everybody we care about with a place to see bands and party. We&#39;ve cleaned up before and after over 100 shows, never made ANY money, we did this for you guys. what did we ever ask in return? respect the house and our neighbors, that&#39;s all.

we organize shows, clean, sweat, do sound, bust our asses and all you have to do is show respect. this past weekend at one of the shows, somebody went across the street to the church on the corner and tagged an upside down cross with a rat head. Now really, how could we not be discouraged from doing shows after such a fucking blatant act of disrespect to our house and neighborhood? our neighbors have been so accepting of ALL the bullshit that has happened since we started doing shows (pissing on their cars, breaking bottles in their streets, and so much more). this, however, is unforgivable. by disrespecting that church, we have disrespected the whole neighborhood.

all it ever takes is one dumb asshole to shutdown a show space. Well this is it. we&#39;re closed for shows indefinitely, until its worth our time and effort again. thanks to everybody who has put so much time and work into the space over the last 3 years, NO thanks to the assholes that smash bottles, put holes in our walls, and vandalize our fucking neighbors houses. are you out of your fucking mind?? we&#39;re currently looking for other venues to move our shows to, we&#39;ll post the info on our page when we find them. emo kids and scene kids are two totally different things. scensters have nothing to do with real hardcore and most of them will reallize how retarded they are after about a year of being so retarded and decide to find themselves and stop caring as much about how they look.
emo on the other hand is a term that has been stolen from its original meaning and turned into some nonexistent subculture that supposedly cuts themselves and thinks its cool to be bummed all the time to get attention. they confuse emo kids with scensters when in reallity emo is a totally different ballpark. true emo is a subculture that came out of punk/hardcore and it has had alot of influence on alot of todays more melodic and emotional sounding hardcore bands. true emo isnt about cutting yourself and wearing your hair in your eyes. true emo is just an offshoot of punk kids who believe that its ok to cry and that emotions are what make us human beings.
when you see a kid walking down the street that you think looks emo then chances are youre just looking at a scene kid. a legit emo kid is just a punk kid who doesnt believe in holding back emotions to prove masculinity and has no distinct or specific "look."
