shit when i started i dindt even know what internet was....

where i lived around the time i started there wasnt really anyone else getting up.... there was nothin to look at except when id travel... id buy mags when i was in toronto and whatever so i had somethin to look at and kinda see hwat was goin on with graff.... i started out toy as fuck but who doesnt... me n a buddie kinda learned stuff and then showed each other and whatever... i always had a talent for art and my mom usd to give me all her older graphic design and lettering books and i used to get alot of ideas from them... i would always just sit around and sketch "my version" of graff... then id go out and paint.. and try things i thought were unique and would catch peoples attention... sure along the way theres people i met that were like hey check this out.. or said yo you should try this... but thats part of graff... i learned the hard way.. by trying it and making mistakes.... but in my opinion you are always learning more... i know i feel i am learning somethin new with every peice i do or every video i watch or flick i look at or jam i go to... you just kinda pick up lil tidbit of info from everywhere....

[What Happened to the Letters?]

3 or so years ago i firwst started and didnt no shit botu graff, i finalyl foudn some sites and thigns and bit peoples styles for a logn ass while, then i started doign shitty buble letters and focusing on the backgorudns and fills, then i came here and learned what real letters were and still sucked then a few people taught me the real concepts and now im rocking simples and starting all over...so i dunno im self taught but ive had a bit of help(tutors)

Ok...I'm new here...knew about this place for a while...just never went to forums...I don't post in the toy thread...because I have 14 years of experience...but yeah...I was 100% self taught...saved my money when i was teen...bought a notebook and paper...starting drawing graffiti...i had been artistic since i was like 7...but i didn't start graffiti until 10 years old...started REAL graffiti when i was 14...first piece when 16...so yeah...14 years of experience...drew for a long time...enjoyed it...i can make a decent piece in like 5 minutes...great one in 30...and an amazing one in 2 hours...i rarely do it anymore though...and unfortunatly i don't have a camera so i can't show you all...but anyways...i have done graffiti in places like New York (obviously...i live in brooklyn) BK...Las Vegas (electro lives there lol...also known as Nexta...or something...yeah...whatever) cali, mexico, florida...basically anywhere i have been...so yeah...small introduction of me...so yeah...might post here often

There is this freewall at the local college we would go to when i first started and he would just help show me basic shit that for some reason you just dont think about when you start. i draw alot, and when you draw a letter like a hundred times, it slowly starts changing and has wierd extensions and shit
