What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up ?

I'm thinking about what I want to do for the rest of my life, like a real job not some part time Mac donalds. So far its to make like little graphic designs for corporations and shit like that so I could get paid. I mean not like graff i'm talking about those little logos if thats even a real job, graphic designs, I guess sophisticated shit if I can say that, i'd have to go some school though. I could work at some corporation business stuff or something like that. I really don't want to be rich when I grow up just like a little simple of course though I wouldn't move out the town.

I had big aspirations once. When I was a kid I wanted to be an artist. Graffiti accidentally got me into art school, ( I got arrested and had to do a bunch of community service. My art teacher signed off on my hours for working on a scholorship application instead of cleaning the school shitters.) In 96 I started Fine Arts College in Seattle. I had huge ambitions.
All College got me was a trip to rehab... One year of school= 1 month inpatient rehabilitaion.
I&#39;m a welder now. I&#39;ve been doing shitty manual labor for 8 or so years. The funny thing is, The trains park right out the back door at my job. I watched the pieces go by and thought of school and what I could have become.
Then I went back to my roots and started painting them. ;)

i was brought up in my family buisness at a really young age and i was bred to be a grumpy 57 year old chain smoking war vet printing press operator. or atleast thats what i&#39;m gonna most likely become because i&#39;m still working in my family buisness, offset printing. boring and most you kids wouldn&#39;t know what i&#39;m talking about anyways. big machines, paper and ink is pretty much the short of it. the good thing is that i have an unlimited amount of ink and an insane amount of it so no buyin ink for markers ever. if theres a color that isn&#39;t there i can mix it on the scales so i guess thats a perk.

In late august im moving to Phili to go to the Universit of The Arts for a major in graphic design or Illustration. People have always sweated me for my drawings and my art work and stuff, and im not good at math, so i guess im gonna be a artist.

As for college, im going to look into getting a Internship at Beautiful Decay in Boston because my close friend used to date someone who has a job there and she said he wouldent mind giving me one. If not that, im aspiring to work at Stones Throw Records in LA.

Last weekend we walked to these tracks behind my friends house when we were on acid for some reason, and the train was so loud that i thought i was deaf for so long. But the light getting stronger and stronger in the woods until you see the train comming is really beautiful. Driving one on acid may be fun to. Just the lives of a train full of people resting in your hands while your on a head full of acid may not be the best choice. arent they called conducters or something?

I had big aspirations once. When I was a kid I wanted to be an artist. Graffiti accidentally got me into art school, ( I got arrested and had to do a bunch of community service. My art teacher signed off on my hours for working on a scholorship application instead of cleaning the school shitters.) In 96 I started Fine Arts College in Seattle. I had huge ambitions.
All College got me was a trip to rehab... One year of school= 1 month inpatient rehabilitaion.
I'm a welder now. I've been doing shitty manual labor for 8 or so years. The funny thing is, The trains park right out the back door at my job. I watched the pieces go by and thought of school and what I could have become.
Then I went back to my roots and started painting them. ;)
