i can do oldskool wildstyles in my sleep... as for the having good color schemes??? most of yall are color blind. not that many oldskool pieces had really fresh colors... most had a random amount of colors in one headache full of arrows and bad connections. im not hating on oldskool style, im saying back in the days few writers mastered it and few writers do it really fresh where u would spend 10 minutes looking at it and drooling.

actually fool they teach u style and technique. not spray paint technique (neways in the art skools ive heard of) but they teach u color, flow, placement etc...

alot of ppl like my sketches n all and find they work well. most of this comes from my previous anime and from my design classes i learned a bunch. dont diss on art schools. theres only so much you can learn on youre own in a lifetime, thats how u improve, u meet other ppl who do the same art type as u and u compare tips and ask for help etc... this forum is a skool of sorts.

markers where made for writing and some for art... a pilot jumbo is made to write on stuff. wether u write on adress on a box or a tag on wall youre still just writing.

stickers are made to have stuff written on them then glued.

wheatpasting is made to advertise something. say a rock concert by using word n art. we advertise our names using artistic writing. same thing.

and the paint brushes i used where made to paint houses :rolleyes:

and etch was made todo art with.

when u use montana you are using spray paint made for graffiti.

only difference is we dont do it legally. but then again neaither does miss van or neos or other or a ton of other artists using pastels and paint.

totem2 does anime ;) some awesome artists also do anime... turner is hella good, but try drawing a 300 page manga within a year... most of those guys just do pinups ... not saying thats bad, but trying to convey a story with a series of pictures is alot harder... and some manga artists are amazing...

senior aguacate...i personally think it looks clean except for the bottom left part of the A..(the bit and the lil arrow turning in half a circle ( :blink: ). and the pink is a good idea 2 bring out tha eye. but what is it??

nice sketch, heres some feedback

-i dont like the top extension on the S. looks like a needless arrow/extension.
-the o needs to be a little more significant and worked into the letter placement a bit more.
-there needs to be a bit of space between to two bars of the V. the rest of your letters have plenty of negative space, it looks unbalanced.
