dont make your shit all over the place liek a octopus just sketch in one spot dont try to connect the letters with all four sides... it looks nice when u connect with the bottom of the page or the side but dont draw a sketch and make random extentions going everywere

i fully expected at least a few people to make stupid comments. didnt especially bother me, it was foe who told the guy off. all i was asking for was some constructive feedback, like i dont like it for THIS reason, THIS is ho wi think it would be improved.

edit: actually the fact that this is a GRAFFITTI based forum is why i thought it was a good idea to put my work here as it comes out. many people dont care, or are even a little hostile, but thats because many people here have absolutely no interest in the actual making of ART. this is a sad state of affairs, but not unexpected. i dont give 2 shits and a fuck about these people. if your interests include putting something creative on a surface, and you never bother to look into art or design, your shit will forever be amateur. and "real heads" will know it.

there has been a positive reaction to my shit on here from enough people. one person went and signed up for a drawing class because of it. aint that fuckin dandy? the haters can tell themselves im learning something with no financial value, if it makes them feel better about themselves. you think its impossible to make a living off fine art? you think it takes "luck"? luck has nothing to do with it. skill and effort have EVERYTHING to do with it. so many people make their living the way i want to, from straight selling work, commissioned work, teaching, running art-based businesses. many make a shitload of money, many make far less than that, but they sure as hell are a lot happier in what they do than most people.

I dont use curves, he uses much curves; I did a shadow effect, he made (on a graffiti I saw) a very different effect; he put additional things on the letters, I didnt.
