also, i completely bite my words on what i said about 'how to' books. for the first time in my life i found one that was actually informative. and i used it for a basic understanding of female anatomy. i wish i could find a picture of the cover. its the only one ive ever found that i would ever even think about reccommending. so ill still stay against em, but if you find yourself in a helpless standstill, theres no shame.

squidone - i cant help but feel ive seen those characters before. but if not, then props. i very much like the chewy one.

antik- the bottom one does seem quite generic or familiar, the others just seem like blobs with random eyes but that might be your style, i dont know
toke- their pretty simpl, if your going for the normal look your on the right track just focus more on the anatomy, if you want it stylised then start experimenting

Iv only just recently began to draw these kind of figures and im still getting used to the perspective of the equipment etc etc.

I also know whats wrong with them too .. like the first one , the gun is raised far to high , the second one , the hand supporting the Desert Eagle is rubbish and the 3rd one , well he looks like hes flying up rather than backwards..

I was thinking of how to colour them...

Im not going to use markers cos fuck theyll use em up with one picture..
Im not going to Photoshop them because One . IMO its cheating , Two . It requires no skill at all and Three . Its exrtemely fiddly and annoying and after 10 mins of it im confused as to what button i click next.

So i came to the conclusion of going old school and just pencil shading them hehe..

toke- your characs are very simple but that might work to your advantage, i would just say that the lips look a little fat and off if you know what i mean
bill- nice but is it just me that think the legs look very manly? i like the kinda tree concept and the anatomy looks spot on apart from where her hand looks like it is her fingers look a foot long unlees you make her arms bend outwards a bit
zeal- cool little charac, i would have both eyes the same size though
snew- i love that but the ears look a bit too side on
pyrets- love pirates but you do need to work on the anatomy a bit, also, the jaw of the pirate looks like hes facing side ways and the face looks straight on
forsaqe- good, i would concentrate more on getting the face right and making her look slimmer because she seems to have put a bit of weight on after you drew her
incognito- i love em, i think the bottom one would look better if both the wings were out and the arms were a little shorter and you put more detail on the fingers

Masta T, I'd say work on the jaw part of your jester, and just make it a lil cleaner, I purposly add extra around my characters when i use pen, so i think its just that the pencils smudgy.
but other then that, i think it looks good :)
