So heres the stickers I've been doing lately. Only a few of them, been making more big giraffes.

I've been doing the giraffe one for a few weeks, but I just realized I could make the giraffe into a moose. Lol. Gonna play around with his antlers.

Edit : Covered up any writing, because I know my handstyle is shit. I just want people to focus on the characters haha.

Yeah, I usually cut them out, or add a background or something. Those were just bare basic characters I've been working on :P

I'm almost out of blank stickers...I go through them like crazy :( I don't think I can order any more to my house...the postal lady is on to me. I'll have to send them to my girlfriends dads house or something.

yes i always spray any stickers not done with paint markers but i have had that problem with some i have put up here too i think its when i used a can of valspar clear cote is when this started happening which i quit using valspar altogether it really suks. but thats the only thing that has changed. I have others that have been up for months that still look pretty good sorry for the fuck up hit me up and we can do another trade later and i will make it up to ya.

as far as the markers i mainly use decos and treehouse markers some cover better than others, like the treehouse yellow doesnt cover as good as the deco but the treehouse light blue covers a lot better than the deco. etc.

The post office lady knows me, and knows damn well its me putting stickers up everywhere, since I get 500 of them every 2 months and don't mail a single fucking thing lol. I don't get my mail delivered to my house, I have to actually get it from the box. The stickers don't fit, so she has to physically handle them and give them to me. Last time she called me out and asked me what I was doing with them.

Its not a problem in the city, but here it really is.

Well, right next to me is a touristy town. I live on a lake, so that draws in a billion people in the summer. The town right next to me (connected by a bridge) has more winter people than my town, but still not too many.

Theres an amusement park, postal boxes, road signs, all kinds of stuff over there. In my town, all I have is stop signs hahaha.

I usually head on over there when I go out. I've already covered everything, but I go back and double cover. Everything there looks pretty neat haha.

@KRE - man you have some really sweet ideas. But It looks like you're making the same mistake that I always make too.

Make your characters bigger, so that they take up the whole sticker, rather than the writings around them. If you want to write some stuff, give them like a quote bubble or something :)

Also - I find that I like 75% of my stickers better cut out. Maybe give that a try?

I'mma give you advice Kre. No hatin man, so dont be so defencive of what is most probably your first batch of sticks, like they be the best thing you ever did. Trust me, if you work it, theyre far from that.

So no matter in which scene your at, it dont matter, all you want and need is advancement. At first i understand its hard to find a decent char, easier to stick to something that is less original, easier, and that you already done.

Stickers gotta be catchy man. That char is not. Theres just something about it that's not appealing and seems kinda wrong. I dont know, maybe if you fixed him up, funked it up a lil, i dono, maybe thad work, maybe not.

The char is sketchy, the tag isnt so nice, the char is too small, the back ground is made in sharpie. Do yourself a favour, if you really want to do something of those stickers. Go in the big boy's thread and go back hundreds of pages, see whats posted there and get inspired.

the bandana is a cool idea, although you wont be able to use expressions (happy, sad, angry, dead, etc.) so after a while it might get boring to look at.
the bandana could be like one of the expressions.

mestone - no beef dude but those suk . keep your head up and keep pushin the stickys out you will find something that works for you.

yea i use stencil adhesive you can rack from hobby lobby. it works great and once you spray your stencil you can stick it numerous times with out spraying again.

Agreed, It surprisingly came out clean and I just used thin copy paper, since kinkos only print big images on copy paper. I usually use a card stock and I end up getting fuzzy sides. Plus the fact that I used spray mount instead of spray adhesive might have mattered I'm not sure though. And yeah the left arm is not detailed at all the base picture had alot of light on that side so I couldn't get any shading on that side. I might mess with it a little and see what happens hopefully I don't mess it up.

Peacebomb: Thanks man, nice to see you back here! I painted on it with a acrylic paint mixed with this paint thing that is made to make paint last on fabics. So the paint doesnt come off, i washed one of my newer shirts a few times to test it and the colors are still as good as when i first painted it
