Just wondering if anyone out there hits up the hooka. Ive been smokin since like 16, and still goin to this day. I have 2 hookas right now, and Im lookin to buy a nice 1 hose ice chamber hooka. Plus, theres a lot of new hooka bars opening up around these parts, so I usually hit those up when Im not smokin at my house or at a homies. Post pics of your hookas or post flavor mixes youve tried and liked. Me and my friends smoke hooka like 5 times a week and live by it, just wonderin if anyone else out there is the same.

As far as good flavors go:
Mint-Vanilla is fuckin bomb if theyre good brands
Cherry-Coconut, fahker cherry is best
Passion Fruit-Grape-Nectar, a local lounges special, if you can get those flavors that shit is fuckin BOMB.

Also if you have any tips it would be appreciated. Like do you put milk, wine, liquor, ice or juice in your vase? What kinds of combos with juice and flavor? If I know Im going to smoke, I usually throw my vase in the freezer for like an hour, you get a really smooth, refreshing smoke. Especially if your smoking something with mint.

Cherry Mint sounds good. I should try that. Ive had some really good melon too. The one thing about getting your own hooka though, is dont let people borrow it. I mean if they can be trusted fine, but every time I leave my hooka at a friends they either broke something, lost something, smoked all my flavors, used up all my coal, whatever. Just a little advice. I had one of my old hookas run over by my friends fucking car. And another one, some assholes smoked bud out of it. Oh, dont ever smoke bud out of your hooka. It will completely fuck it up and it wont ever taste right again. However, if you have an extra hooka and like bud, the two make a dope combo.

Jasmine blows. If you dont want fruity, stick with triple apple or mixed fruit, something simple. Actually both of those together is really good. Hey Foe, do you get good hits on your 4 hose? More hoses usually means theres less suction. But they do have multiple hose hookas with ball bearing so that you still get a good pull.

Its like a water pipe, you put your tobacco into a bowl on the top and then put coal on top of the bowl. The smoke goes down into the vase and then threw the hose. They have every flavor you can think of. cherry, grape, watermelon, you name it. Just look it up, itll make more sense if u see a picture.

I lived in the middle east for a year, and all i did when i was there was smoke sheesha. Authentic, arabic sheesha, the most amazing flavour i've ever had.

Yeah I always have a bucket of Grape no matter what. You know whats good shit, theres a flavor called 5 star, and basically its like cotton candy flavor. You guys should try it out, it goes well with almost any flavor.

works fine for me. it takes a lot of suckin to get started, but you get that with any hookah. it's pretty much the same as any single-hose i've smoked. i got a buddy with a fucking 8-hose. it's HUGE. it gets lousy suction, but DAYUM

its a blended tobacco. but yes, it tastes like it's supposed to. the best example is the rose sheesha. the first time i had it, it tasted like we were smoking rose pedals. it's fantastic. get to a hookah bar (usually about 15 bucks for an our, you typically get a 4 hose hookah) and just chill out.

the one down here has pillows and curtains everywhere, it's dark, and they play really ambient arabian music. i havent been since i got my own, but it's so chill.

people spell hookah/hooka different ways, cuz its translated form some other language. and yes, the water filters the smoke. thats why its so smooth. also, i did some mad reading on the addiction of it, and found out that its a different strain of tobacco, and addiction is way, way less than with ciggarettes. withdrawls from heavy smoking can last several hours, while shisha withdrawls last up to 5 minutes. far less. also, if you smoke weed out of it, just clean it out real well with some mild soap and water, should be back to normal. double apple is a bomb ass flavor too. mmmm... hoookah..... :D

that&#39;s the secret. that&#39;s why long pipes kiiiiill short ones. chamber is longer, therefore smoke travels longer, therefore cools more before going into your lungs.

try this some time. shotgun into a 2L bottle, stick it outside in the snow or in your freezer, come back in 15 min, tell me how smooth that hit is. fill your lungs boys :D

And Im gonna get some fuckin cobra hoses for that bitch and a nice colored bowl to match the vase. That shit is gonna be sick. Ill post some flicks once I get it. Seriously, lounges are the biggest fucking rip sometimes. I knew this place that used to have decent hookas and now theyre charging for couches and shit and their hookas are garbage. They dont ever try anymore, last time I went they packed a bowl with must of been used sheesha, thats how shitty is tasted, and put like a half a coal on. Fuckers. But anyway, I should try that orange fruit punch mix. All I need is the coconut. Probably be bomb if you mixed some fruit punch or pina colada in the vase. Im always down to try some new shit out.

Also make sure you know what your getting before you go out and buy one. Ive seen friends get the worst deals when buying a hooka. Basically, no hooka is worth more that say, 110 bucks unless its like bohemian crystal. Never pay more that 60 for a regular 1 hose. Just because a hooka is multiple hoses doesnt mean its better. Moderns usually suck, stick with classic syrians or egyptian. Just keep those things in mind. Hope this helps with anyone going out and buying a new hooka.

you dont put honey on the weed, you rub honey on the outside of blunts to make it burn slower. if you put honey on weed ull drown it and it wont burn at all

I dunno...sometimes Im really turned off by hookah too. Like some nights Itll make me feel like shit. If it makes you sick, just try different things. Like eat before you smoke, or pack the bowl less tight, or put less coal on top, dont smoke strong flavors....whatever.

Its all about packing the bowl right, and burning the shisha right and rotating coals with right hole patterns

Some people can never smoke it, some people get sick sometimes, maybe they have other drugs in them that dont mix well, food even, some people never get sick off it, some people only when their tired, and pretty much everyone gets dizzyish the first time they smkoke it unless they have been smoking cigarettes for a while.

Either way youpack the bowl and rotate the coals the shisha is still going to burn. Consideration to bowl packing and coal rotation is for keeping your bowl lasting longer.

i went to hookah twice today. the best hookah bar in chicago in my opinion.. the guy that owns the place actually goes to egypt once in a while to learn about the culture there, to apply it to his hookah bar since its such a big part of their culture

Water is in the vase to clean the smoke. Its like a...purifier. You can put like water AND juice or milk or whatever. But its suppoused to be water mainly. Other shits just to add to the flavor and smoothness of the smoke.

But yeah, Ive added liq to the vase, but I really didnt get more fucked up or anythin.

basically, youre not supposed to pass the hookah, you chill with it and smoke it or leave it in your hand till someone else wants it... then when they want it they can tap you a couple times to show they want it and you acknowledge them, and take another hit if you please, or just pass. if theyre not sitting next to you and they want it they tap the person next to them then they tap the person next to them and so on... in cultures where hookah is popular it is considered EXTREMELY rude to grab the hookah from someone, even if theyre jus holding it. you dont have to use the whole tap system but if youre talking to someone it doesnt butt in to the conversation. thats the basic stuff and if i remember the rest ll post it here.

i would assume that smoking 100% bud would ruin the taste for maassal in the future
but what about if you mix a ratio of maassal to finely powdered kief and bud, would this tarnish the taste of the argileh in the future?
can anybody that knows what they're talking about answer this?

my firend who has hookahs goes to egypt every summer, all he does their is rip shisha and hash bowls all day in the illest resorts...he says everythign there outside the resort is dirt cheap liek hash and shit

EDIT: oh yeah the reason i came into this thread, my brother jsut got a hookah this week, one hose...shits gunna be bomb once i go to his house for a weekend, heson ProB so he wanted to get that so he can smoke shisha instead of weed until hes off

Get a bowl, fill it with like dishsoap & water... then you get a toilet paper roll & dip it in the soap. Take a huge hookah rip & blow into the toilet paper roll. It helps if you're standing on something like a chair. As soon as itsfull of smoke you pull away & have someone underneath you blow it upwards. It's kinda fun. It takes a couple tries to get it right. if you let it hit the ground it'll either bounce or blow up & when it blows up it looks like a mini mushroom cloud. You can make the bubble bigger by just breathing in through your nose & then exhaling again. It's reallllly hard to make a real big one 'cause it usually pops... but if you get the right soap mixture... it's on.
