I don't know if those sharpies are the same design as a flowpen, but if they are, here's what you do...
Take a pair of channel locks, (aka big pliers) and grab the square plastic part that the nib goes into. (highlighted by the arrow) Squeeze and turn. This is how I get mine open when paint dries up in the threads and they are impossile to twist the round part.

Ink for pink ;) I'd settle for the stink.
only dens gets it...
lol, Flowpens are lame. ;)
Let me guess...you like pilots better? It's whatever your preference. I personally think pilots are overrated. And Flowpens aren't THE BEST marker out there, but I've never had a problem with mine. I really prefer a Zig posterman or woodcraft filled with custom ink mixes because the barrel of the marker is soft plastic unlike the flowpen, and you can squeeze it a little bit when the nib is pressed in to get better drips.
i agree with dens i like the pilot but flow pens make you feel good inside
You're a girl, a lot of things make you feel good inside.....

Anyway, I've probably had more OTR's than anyone here and from experience and wear and tear I know that pilots are better... OTR paint markers blow ass and their colors suck, OTR ink markers will fade a few months and u can whipe the color off with spit on your finger, I REST MY CASE..

therefore,

buff = remove

so (in theory)

hard to buff = hard to remove

etch does this to glass. it soaks in and removes the glossy chracteristics making it look "etched" or frosted
it does not damage plastics. it comes in a plastic container when you buy it. it burns into glass and maybe steel if its strong enough. if you use only etch bath or you thin etch cream with vinegar, which is entirely possible, you can use it in an empty marker like a zig or otr, but dont use it in something that has ink in it because it can cause bad reactions. most people just throw it in a mop or dont use it at all.

Kiwi has this one mop filled with "Shoe Cream". This is perhaps the best mop I've used because it's almost identical to the OTR mini hard to buff marker. My apologies for not showing a picture, I'm to poor to afford a digi. camera. Try finding one at a supermarket or something, they should be common.

The cleaning out of the container is simple and holds ALOT of ink/paint, whatever your preference. Only thing to remember about it is to apply alittle super glue around the rim of the "dispenser mechanism" to seal it perfectly.

damn, thats alot of quotes. i used otr h2b and raspberry ink on my cell phone to test buff
its plastic, the h2b was easy to chip off with my fingernail but the flopen raspberry ink is not. they both can be rubbed off, but it takes a really long time and so far only the raspberry is leaving a ghost.
but the h2b is way more opaque.

well, i kno most off you have seen those little letter moisteners. (the little clear bottle with a sponge) ya you get one of those and fill it with your favorite ink and you got yourself a .97 cent container with your ink! best drips and great consistant lines!!

stick the end in your mouth, so the ink wont get on your clothes. when a cop stops you and asks you your name, he wont be able to understand you cuz you have a mop in your mouth, then kick him in the balls, and steal his paint and markers. that'll teach the fuckin pig....

I tried it on a rusto and it sprays right, but it may leak during extended use, I don't know. I've had problems before with rusto and certain hooded caps. Not sure about krylon. you can boil ink to make it darker, or add ciggarette ash

Peronally never tried to make my black ink "darker" but then again then again the ink i use is some homemade black krink and some poster paint that i racked from school, its like 35 bucks a bottle so its pretty good got that stuff in green too both are which are extremely running yet stain fingers and clothin like a mother.
I recently found these sort of short gel glue containers with a heavy cap and a plug to place in the marker when not in use so it doesnt spill in ur pocket.
Then i made a marker out of a mini water container, 6oz or less, and its got a homemade nib of this spong and straw for the ink to flow, works pretty good not to mention has a cap that fits perfect and can be squezzed to increse flow.

I dont really know if i counts as a marker but....
Ok I was bored today and i made this pen... its kinda for poor people lol
heres what u need.
1) heat shrink tubing
2) duct tape
3) Some ink (pen)

http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/4826/apr080073qi.jpg
1st Fold the tube over and tape it around make sure u have more than half of the tube left to hold the ink
http://img454.imageshack.us/img454/669/apr080083bq.jpg
Then make a Small hole in the folded part. Make a good hole or else it wont flow.
Add ink in the other end. if the ink comes out the hole then u followed the steps correctly.
http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/5483/apr080096fu.jpg
it writes like this
http://img315.imageshack.us/img315/458/apr080029ny.jpg

here's what you do...
Take a pair of channel locks, (aka big pliers) and grab the square plastic part that the nib goes into. (highlighted by the arrow) Squeeze and turn. This is how I get mine open when paint dries up in the threads and they are impossile to twist the round part. Oh, and don't forget, they twist to the right to open it. (clockwise)

get a kiwi (i preferre black) and tear the nib off until the little stick thing is showing but leave some of the nib on. Then, take off the nib and what its attatched too, and empty out the shoepolish and fill it with your own ink. Put the nib back on and go hit shit.
The more you press down on the nib and squeez the bottle, the longer the drips. You get a couple small drips even if you dont squeez the bottle.

If you wan't it get it at http://turntablelab.com both inks are unbelievably drippy, not watery but they retain opaqueness. As far as hard to buff goes i'd say it's good, i tried to buff some off of a lamp i tested it on and it didn't come off easily at all. It can't be bad i mean it comes from KR, I talked to KR about it online before I baught it. I definately prefer the ink and the mops to any OTR or 'furthermore' marker on bombingscience. Unlike OTR it is unfadable and lasts forever outside. But if you do one bathroom tag a week and hope that the ink won't come off and stain it forever it might not be for you but I'm very satisfied with the quality of the product so far. If anyone has anymore questions i'll gladly answer them, i was kind of skeptical of the "real krink" as well.

EDIT* I know I will get a lot of shit like "dude that's a kiwi" it has a screw on lid and they're see through, I prefer these to normal kiwi mops due to the fact I can see how many scribbles i got left and when I'm about to need to refill. unlike OTR's you can always see how much ink you have without the ink sticking to the pastic inside... so that's useful.

Black Krink is my favorite.... the ink isnt alcohol based so that means you can tear up bathrooms without anyone smelling it. I mean i can hold my nose up to it and not smell a thing, the weird thing is it's not water base either, it stains.

Yeah i want to get some for easter from my parents. I just want that cool frosted bottle that it comes in. And the ink.
Also, does it stain more then Garvy mixed with Grog ink?
thats been my favorite mix yet. I just cant find grog in any bottle bigger the 250ml and i like big bottles of ink.

check the cap so if u put a nib in the markers it'll still closel. also see how u need to mod the plastic to hold ur nib + cap from marker. just think bout it. it's easier for u to see for ur self than for me to try to describe to u.

This is the last time im saying this, I DIDN'T BUY IT. No it doesn't stain like garvey and nero together, it's not all about permanency where i live, you can still buff garvey with ease (if you know how). Krink is more for people who like real drippy ink, the consistency is unbelievably thin.

don't do tags with those kind of markers. use homemades or pilots. if you want a paint marker for tagging already made for you get a zig posterman. use decos for stickers and blackbook.

white isnt as permenent as black obviously it never is but its still pretty permenant. of course no more permenant than white oil based paint its just ALOT thinner and works better in homeade markers.

...mod pilot

what you need..red pilots marker, needle nose plyers, black tape, any type of superglue, sock and what ever ink u want to put in it..
step 1: GET THIS!
http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/7610/imag00100am.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step2: TAKE LID OFF!
http://img105.imageshack.us/img105/5038/imag00116lk.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step 3: UNSCREW THE TOP RED PARK FROM THE STEEL BARRLE!
http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/4497/imag00125rn.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step 4 : TAKE IT OFF!
http://img133.imageshack.us/img133/9673/imag00131rp.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step5: GET THE NEEDLE NOSE PYLERS..AND TAKE OUT THE FELT IN SIDE THE BARRLE!
http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/646/imag00143er.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step 6:NOW THE FELTS OUT..GO WASH THE BARRLE..
http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/8136/imag00156hz.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step7:NOW THIS PART IS DONE..PUT IT DOWN..
http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/8909/imag00166fi.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step 8:GET THE NIB..AND THE PART THAT STUCK TO IT..AND PUSH THE NIB OUT..AND THROW THE NIB AWAY..KEEP THE RED PLASTIC PART YOU NEED THAT!
http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/8355/imag00171ak.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step 9 :CUT SOME SOCK..ABOUT A INCH TO A INCH AND A HALF..AND THEN CUT THAT IN HALF..AND ROLL IT INTO A NID SHAPE
http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/3977/imag00188xt.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step 10:.MAKE SURE IT FITS INTO THE PLASTIC CASE..NOT TOO TIGHT..WAIT AND SEE...
http://img88.imageshack.us/img88/9531/imag00199np.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step11:GET THE OTHER HALF OF THE SOCK..AND STRECH IT OVER THE TOP OF THE NIB..THE PART U WILL TAG WITH..AND THE RAP SOME BLACK TAP AROUND THE MIDDLE OF THE NIB..SO THERE IS SPACE LEFT AT THE BOTTOM AND TOP..
http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/5637/imag00205ni.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step12:GO MAKE SURE IT DOWN LEAK.....FILL IT WITH WATER..*IF IT LEAKS..GO BACK A FEW STEPS AND DO THEM AGAIN..*
http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/6647/imag00221gu.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step13: GET UR GLUE AND PUT A SMALL DROP AROUND THE NIB..AND LET IT DRY AND HARDER..
http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/6647/imag00221gu.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step14:FILL IT WITH UR INK...AND WRAP SOME BLACK TAP AROUND THE RED PLASTIC PART THAT MEETS THE STEEL BARRLE..SO IT DOESNT LEAK OUT OF THAT...
http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/6803/imag00241sm.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
step 15:GO DESTROY STUFF!!
http://img66.imageshack.us/img66/9832/imag00266xy.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

sorry for tha big pics..and bad camera!

toxus i made like 5 of those kinda markers too i think gravity markers tend not to work so well unless you got some real ink, or some home made shit that is thin, cuz if you just use home made krink its to think for that shit, and it also depends on the type of felt i guess, the felt i had was shit. so i hope my new one i made works better.
