ya he loves those dalo's

i feel like posting instructions on how to make a mop as i think there should be one on every page. i was looking for one earlier today but i couldnt find anything decent. here goes. (shut up erryone its useful to someone)

1. buy, rack, find, whatever a kiwi shoe polish brush. dont use the cheap imposters. (if u know what dollarama is go there they have thes KANUK ones that do the trick nicely)

2. open the lid and remove the foam head BY THE RUBBER BASE and dump out that yucky shoe polish. dont make a mess.

3. wash out the bottle and the spounge with warm water

4. push on the head of the spounge, you should feel a pokey thingy. push it and remove it from the other side (this is the hardest part). now put that shit aside and move on to part 2.

PART TWO... THE PAINT

1. go to zellers and look for a mini tin full of black or aluminum paint. you dont want latex paint. go for rust paint. throw that shit in your pocket! (i dont care how u get your paint its worth it to buy a huge assed bucket i guess) *REMEMBER TO MIX THE PAINT UP BEFORE POURING IT INTO YOUR CUP*

2. open it and put some paint in a disposable plastic cup.

3. go to your garage or what have you and get out the paint thinner. paint thinner or mineral spirits its like the same shit. now pour a little bit of this into your paint. your mixture should be along the lines of 1/4 mineral spirits to 3/4 rust paint.

4. pour the cup of paint *dont forget to stir it* into your shoe polish container. i would do this over a shoe box or something.

5. put the spounge thingy back in like it was when you got it except leave the "pokey thing" out.

6. screw the lid back on to the shoe polish brush.

IF YOU FOLLOW THAT MORE OR LESS YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD WORKING MOP. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO USE THE MOP YOU HAVE JUST MADE GO FIGURE IT OUT. if my gay little tutorial helps at least one person i am happy.

I got a dalo and loved it, went through so many tags with the thing, has plenty of paint. The yellow is the best.

My favorite homemades-

Gluestick/chapstic

Empty out, drip a good amount of wax in, let cool. Then get some felt, cut and fold it, and stuff it in around the spindle as a nib.(felt is 20 cents at walmart) Make sure it will close without the nib touching the cap, and then drip in ink. In my opinion, Elmers gluesticks are best for this. 2 cm nib on the gluesticks, cant remember chapstic measures.

Push Pop(candy, not ice cream)
Eat up. Rinse it out, drip wax and let cool 3 seperate times, until you completely cover the slider. Then, flip over so its upside down, and completely seal the bottom. Cut and fold up felt, make sure it fits. Then, you are going to want to put in one small pin hole in the cap. If you do not, whaen you close it, it will push air that will push ink, almost like a pump, throught the bottom of the marker. Then drip in ink. 2 cm nib.

Glue tube (glue pen in craft department at walmart, 54 cents)
Empty out. rinse. fill with ink, stuff in felt. if you fill it with paint, you can use the original nib. squeeze for drips. 1 - 1.5 cm nib.

-alternate

Stuff the entire thing with felt and then drip in ink. more time consuming, but less hassle.

Then, stuff some felt in, only as a nib, the cut some sponge/cloth, and stuff that into the tube. repace the nib cap. Soak the sponge with ink, and wait for it to soak the nib. 2.5 cm nib.

Most jiffies are terrible, to mod one just unscrew it, take out the cotton stuff, fill with ink and make a nib, dont put the screw on part back on, just the cap.

Or if its a jiffy kingsized, its pretty much a pilot jumbo.

Right now I&#39;m carrying a kiwi mop filled with brown paint, and another kiwi mop, except it looks more markerish..filled with some ink I bought from a school shop. The ink&#39;s pretty good except i made a HUGE fucking mess getting it in the mop the first time but that was my fault. Because I had the paint mop and tagged up some park and I went looking for ink and they had 2 bottles for like 4 bucks. And the tops didnt come off so I had to poke a hole in the bottom and pour it in the kiwi bottle. Forgot my gloves and ink just went everywhere I had purple hands for like 3 days. And somehow it got on my leg.... But it works nice as hell. I just gotta buy some latex gloves so it won&#39;t leak through to my hands.

but i made a deodorant mop today...or an attempt. i put the paint in, i sealed thebottom then put the paint in, thinned the paint and then put the nib in, superglued around it and the nib wouldnt absorb the paint, solution?

Thanks. :P I feel WAY better when using gloves. Especially when all I have are home mades like kiwi mops. I&#39;m gunna go to Target to see if I can rack some REAL paint markers like pilots or anything but I doubt they&#39;ll have them. ;)

edit: What kind of nib are you using? Maybe ink would work better since it&#39;s more uh...liquidy.

i took an empty glue stik and put some paint in it, then jammed a sock in it. the nib makes it super drippy but it dont last so long and runs out of ink fast to :(

I have used a fair share of markers from actual graffiti markers to home mades and all in between and the pilot isnt that bad its fairly decent. You cant control ink flow like in other markers but the tag wont have streaks or translucency (sp)

You have to pump it a lot. The less you pump it, the slower you have to move it to get a good line, but if you pump it enough you can move fast and get nice thick lines. If you dont pump it enough, or at all, it starts like spittin, or sort of spraying, like it was empty and spraying out the last couple drops. Just pump it before or after every tag.

they write on more surfaces than a marker, but not as many as a streak. Stay away from easily chipping surfaces, the metal tip just breaks it.

I personally love them, and want more. Yellow is the best colour Ive used so far.

I&#39;ve been using a mop for a week but then I found out that after i tagged an entire park and a bathroom my ink came of with even a single rub. Because I rubbed my finger acrossed a tag I did and bam it came right off. Pissed me off. :P But then I just told myself oh well. Some people saw it, it got buffed. Now I switched to paint. It works decent, I know it&#39;s buffable and I like ink way better but I just can&#39;t find any damn permanent ink.

well i think that`s a paint marker so wouldn`t fill it with ink. Thin some paint and you get fair enough drips&#33;

You can refill it with ink If you clean it out and put a new nib in. Whatever you have to put in has to be fairly thinned out or it wont pass through the nib try and get the same consistency as what it was originally filled with.

This may be off topic but I saw a tutorial one day for putting spray paint in an axe deoderant body spray can and I can&#39;t find it now. I figure it the same as mixing paint in that you have to take the plastic ink stick out of a pen and widdle it down to something that looks like the male piece on most fatcaps and then get the can&#39;s hot/cold before the transfer but has anyone done this for sure that can gimme some sure tips before I make a mess or explode a can or something?

Krink is not ink, its paint, thin it with paint thinner, probably wont work too well with the marker though..

All those nibs for the montana and otr markers and molotow are very dense fibers so whatever liquid you want to pass through it has to be fairly thin or it wont work thats why if you can match the consistency of the liquid already inside it , it will work

i made a marker either yesterday or the day b4 cant really remember lol ;) anyways i made it out of one of those deoderants with the rolling ball on top of them so i took that out filled it with some home made ink and used a piece of sock for the nib....... only thing is that the ink wont go through the sock i held it upside down for awhile.... any suggestions????????

This may be off topic but I saw a tutorial one day for putting spray paint in an axe deoderant body spray can and I can&#39;t find it now. I figure it the same as mixing paint in that you have to take the plastic ink stick out of a pen and widdle it down to something that looks like the male piece on most fatcaps and then get the can&#39;s hot/cold before the transfer but has anyone done this for sure that can gimme some sure tips before I make a mess or explode a can or something?

k this is the by far one of the most easy markers to build so no need for pics (but i&#39;ll edit and add them if u really need pics)

if u burn blunts u will know wut i am talking about
buy a kingpin bluntwrap that has 2 wraps inside
use the 2 wraps as u see fit
the reason u buy the wraps is for the container they are sold in
it&#39;s shaped just like any pocket marker and has a twist on lid...
fill it with a ink of your choice and just cut and roll up a piece of a sos pad to make a nib and slide that shizz in place.. no tape or glue needed..
u can write with this maker as neatly or as sloppy as want just by tilting it allowing the ink to flow....

The light blue ones are from Joanns. Go by the scrapbooking stuff and look for the 2 in 1 glue markers. They should be there.
The red one is window chalk, and the silver one is a glue stick thing filled with homemade krink. Look at wal-mart






Treo- A lot of them are pretty new, they don&#39;t even have ink in them yet. Some are kinda old, and some have only been used a few times.

You want this. Mix the blue in darker colors, red inred or black, and black in black obviously. I would buy red, it wrks really well.

But a word to the wise, watch your fingers man, I&#39;ve seen some nasty etch accidents, reminds me of a kid who spilled hydrochloric acid on his hand in chemistry class at the beginning of the year.

If anyone gets a bingo dabber that has really inconsistant flow (And you&#39;ve taken out the penis thingy) Just jab a few holes throw the nib, theres some paper stuff that it goes through, it doesnt affect the sponge part.

I&#39;ve run into a couple where when I do the first letter, it will be nice and drippy, but after that it fades out, and I will be squeezing it. Stabing the nib fixes that.
