now before yall start with " you cant put spraypaint in markers/mops" like ive heard in other forums, i found a way.

1. Spray can upside down till all the gas escapes. Montana level 5s kill cans pretty quick.

2. Pop the can


3. Pour the paint into a coke bottle. repace the cap.


4. shake for a minute or two, then take off the cap and let all the gas escape.


5. Repeat as neccesary.

i was also ripped out of my mind at the time so who knows..

make sure you clean it out first aswell. Paint and ink dont mix well.

why would you waste your time draining a perfectly good spray? sprays dont have that much paint in them, about 1/3 is propelent. instead of fucking around with the you can just by a can(kind wit a lid) for way less and pour it right in after thinning. ive only done this w/ mops so idk about valve markers.

Also you can put spray paint in anything. But it will dry up the marker nib in two seconds, and basicly be a waste of time.

OH SNAP&#33; No matter what people say, never trust it just empty glue/bingo dabbers, they have no difference, some whack kid who had bought one was showing me, and i had used exactly the same but as a "Jack spot bingo dabber" same easyness to squeeze and flow.. only difference is... a label and a different colour nib. oh yeah and the stock ink is cool to....

i dont use good paint for it. maybe some dollar store paint, krylon, or some dreg cans i find in bridge underpasses.

can anyone give me good instructions on how to make a nice mop

1. metal pipe
2. lid for the metal pipe
3. sock
4. scissors
5. ink
6. glue
7. electrical tape

ok, this how i make good ones. i take the metal pipe, i measure out the sock to a size of how much ink i want to have in the mop. i cut the sock, roll it up and put it in the mop, it doesnt matter which side u put it in, just remember which side. i cut the sock on the pipe when its inside so that the ink wont rub onto the lid and make it leak (big mistake if u dont do this, u WILL ruin a pair of pants and will have incriminating evidence) wrap electrical tape around the thread so when u put the lid on, it will not go on all the way, this will give the nib room (only do this to the side ur nibs on, but if u want to put it onto the side ur putting ur ink in, go for it). before u put the ink in, glue the sides of the sockso that the nib wont go bak into the mop. finally, fill ur mop up and let the nib soak up the ink. and now ur ready to go out and destroy shit. hope this was helpful *sorry for no flix, my cameras broke, ill try to post some soon*

i&#39;m in the process of actually USING it so... i&#39;m using it like a mother fucker to get it empty faster. then by then i better have some ink. but what&#39;s in it is like water so it dripped like a thunderstorm when i pushed it against the mirror this morning. but like i said.. its like water. so its gonna do that.

its 8.99 for a 4 oz bottle. and like 12 or something for a 2 oz bottle.

Kiwi&#39;s stock stuff is just coloured water. if your really desperate just water down some house paint. But Im sure you can find something better than that.

Super toy here, confused about some shit. Can somebody give me a basic rundown on some marker terminology? Is a flowpen the same think as a paint marker, but with ink? Like, is it crazy drippy? Or is it more like a pilot? I&#39;ve only ever used a pilot, and I&#39;m just lookin to expand.

Flowpens are normal pump markers with a semi transparent ink. They drip on your shoes but not the wall. If you want drips get a mop.

Anything made by otr will suck.

For those who love drips:

Get a travel shampoo thing, the bigger the better. (but not too big)

It should have a bingo dabber like thing with just a whole in the middle, pop that out. Fill it with paint (Unless you have a lot of spare cash, stick with paint for this one)
Put the plastic thing back in.
Hold it about a foot from the wall, at a downward angle. Just squeeze it, it gives mad drips, not clean lines though.

i know this isnt homemade but, if ur short of cash look for things called chalk markers. the nibs arent great nut they last a while, and just put ur ink in and bam uve got a nice marker.

yo i just refilled mine, and i made a mess at first, but i figured it out.

mine was a zig posterman, but it looked similar.

what i did was heated it with a lighter near where it joins together, and theres threads (at least on mine) and maybe yours, and then got a grippy pad for opening bottles, and just quickly grabbed it while it was hot and broke the glue seal.

oh yeah, the threads are backwards, to tighten it, turn it counterclockwise, and to losen, mine was clockwise.

i had one of those. they are horrible IMO because all the glue up in the nib.

i probably didnt have to heat it, but i didnt kno that the righty/tighty lefty/loosey rules didnt apply, but i put some heat to it anyways, and it losened the glue up nice.

also what ive noticed is around here a little 250ml can of paint (roughly) is like &#036;4-5
and an almost 1L one is like &#036;8-9 and a large 4L one is &#036;25

so if ur just starting out get a small one i guess. small ones are mad easy to rack from zellers or w/e but im saving up money to get some medium sized ones. cause like everyone likes black mops. and silver mops. and ive never used a white mop but it would be sick. or an orange mop?? possibilities are endless budday.

i dunno if i contributed anythin or not but whatever. awnser my question??

Try and put in the traditional dripping mix.. 1/3 Paint thinner, 2/3 Paint.
Get a nice combination, but don&#39;t add shoe polish
if you want a clean staining paint marker, then slide in just paint, little bit of thinner, so it doesn&#39;t harden, and a few drops of brake oil, or fish oil. [Bucket Paint]

for a fat and drippy marker, get one of those deoderant sticks that have the ball at the top. pop out the ball fill with w/e and pull a sock around the shit and hold it down with a rubber band. fuck all of that complicated shit, this works better than any other homemade marker and doesnt get any easier.

Ok, i&#39;ll tell you the low down,

Ink - seeps into the actual serface and stains
Paint. - Opaque, just alot of pigment hardens on top of the surface.

Breakfluid/fish oil - slows drying time down, allowing it it to seep into the surface more

but, it will not work in paints.

Rubbing alcohol can be used as a base in inks, and if you add it to paint it either wont mix or will just make it wattery to that concistancy.

+ Postermans are water bases, alcohol will mix with it but it will have NO effect what so ever.

If you want drips with a smaller nib there are mini shoe mops and bingo dabbers.

Whichever works.

I have an Expo Dry Board eraser and a felt chalkboard eraser. I can rip off layers from the chalkboard eraser, and cut it to use as a nib. The dry board eraser is fucking glued to the base, and its hard to rip off, not to mention its only one layer and has glue residue under it.

Go for the chalkboard eraser.

not really marker but works

its all good probly that kid over in the corner deleted it, hes got the forums on LOCK right now. I applied to be a mod in the forum but they denied my ass <_<.


oh yeah andseze. they have flowpen ink refills on the bombing science shop ;) but yeah you can put do em dirty in a flowpen works just fine.

when i was in Rome, these are all i could find there so i grabbed a black one. it works nice and is opaque. the stuff i did there is still running so i cant complain. i think theyre kind of easy to buff though. yo u can just scratch it off with a razor or something.

you can fill it with ink though once its empty. i filled mine with a mix of ink and that worked nicely

I can&#39;t think of any paint marker that can&#39;t be scratched off, being that it&#39;s paint, But Poscas are fun. I&#39;m still hooked on Zig 2way gluepens and mini poster mops for refillables tho.
