use a pin and stab it about 1000 times all over the nib and maybe rub it on some concrete, should loosen up and work nicely

yup, acctualy they work better for etch then normal shoe polish bottles. they also drip easyer if you hold it so the nib is flat but the ink is above it.

you can melt a candle, and let the wax dry in the bottom of the container, so it wont leak ink, ........and you also put ink in the marker....

i made two mops with some krylon bucket paint , a shoe polish thing and a window marker. i didnt add paint thiner or anything, but they worked fine, just not alot of drips and they ran out fast. the sponge on the shoe polish was shit but the window marker was tuff.

kiwi mops are made with the shoe polish bottle "kiwi" (thus giving theses mops the name kiwi mops) these have wicked felt and the mops are filled with ink or paint (your mom or dad might have some of these bottles lying around the house). i dont have a graffiti dictionary handy but im pretty sure a mop is anything with a tip not used for writting, AND is filled with homemade ink or paint... for example you can make a mop out of a shampoo bottle and the tips of chalk board erasers (as for ink recipes there are plenty of ink recipes on bombing science tools and tips...)I used to have a kiwi mop but my felt broke cause bomos and bombshock were writting on a stone walls with it...

its an uni posca fluorescent poster marker.

I emptied the paint and put in some black krylon shortcut paint (the kind in the little jars)

put about 3rd thinner

took out the pump system and left the marble in

has any1 evermade a marker out of one of those pushpops with the springs in it. i made one just now and it works pretty good. i just broke the candy off, put a hole in the top, put a thin metal stick on the inside to make the pump work right, added the top of a soda bottle, and bam u got a marker with a pump system.

oand i added a dry erase eraser stuff. it works pretty good.

My farvorite fucking drip homade markers&#33; Is to get any shampoo bottle ,clean it out and wrap it around with fucking black tape , fill with ink.But i prefer krink. Then use a eraser felt for the tip.use the shampoo cap to cap it up. Its fucking good for drippie tags and good for fucking big huge tags.

Ok, i got two Artline 100&#39;s. The big Chisel Tip ones. Um, and a few Other Good Markers. I Have a bottle of Kiwi, but not much is left. We should have some more bottles tomorrow. I was wondering, can i please have your opinions On the Following...

Ok, weve got Kiwi, Fat ass Markers, And we wanna mod markers. What should we do. Does the Kiwi shit Work as a Permanent? Can we mix that in with the Marker?

Tell us what we need to go buy, and what to do. And how to mod some of our markers, and some stuff we can make.

cuz i did it and put it in a cheap kiwi container and it fucked up
and i took out that regulater that lets u press the it down for the ink to come out so it driped every where.

n e ways i posted this question in the good afternoon thread but i dont think n e gave a crap: today i went to get skool supplys and i saw that rather than a regular magnum44 they now have sharpie magnums. i was gonna buy 1 but there about 5 bucks, and i couldnt rack cause there was a guy putting stuff on the shelves baside me. n e ways im not a big fan of the magnums simply because there easy to buff. are these new sharpie magnums the same as the regular old ones? n e 1 tried them, or heard of them?

I heard of them, I havent seen any regular magnums lately. They sell those new sharpie magnums at bomb shelter and at all the office depots around me... I think theyre just magnums with sharpie ink tho.

i was at staples for skool stuff and i noticed near the pens and stuff was a couple empty mops used for marking envelopes or somthing. they work pretty good with the acrylic paint and a few drops of break fluid. dont forget ta water it down

ps easy to rack no cameras in that area

ok so i got a gallon of red rusto and paint thinner for 4 bucks. and i found this kiwi shoe cream thing for 88 cents. superglue the bottem and filled.


the only thing that sucks is i get "brush line" like the paint doesn&#39;t come out to clean leaving lines in the tags. did i add to much paint thinner?

i took a jumbo marks a lot , popped the ent of pulled the plastic wrapped felt thing out . stuck a few cotton balls inside and filled with leather dye . . . . works great . but you gotta block up arround the nib otherwise its gonna leak and fill the cap .

i usually try to find something that already has a cap on it, deoderant, kiwi, haha my favorite mini mop that was a roll on candy sucker thing it was like a roll on deoderant stick, i popped out the ball and i rolled up an eraser stuffed in for a nib and it has a tight cap on it so it dont leak. though sobmob barrowed it and never gave it back, he says he did... anyways i have a marker im gunna make sooner or later with 2 tik tak containers it includes a cap. and ya i always keep my markers in bags especially custom or home made ones

Well if you get 2 tic-tac markers then take off the white lids to both of them. Then turn one lid upside down and place it on the top of the clear box. Glue it on with UHU or sumthung else. Make sure its water tight. Then throw away the other white lid. Fill the little gap where the flap should go with a nib and also fill it with ink. And use the other clear box as a lid.

UPGRADED KIWI:

the kiwi bottels are annoying and big, and i looks goofy i think.
1. cut off the top of the bottle, right below the threads for the cap.
2.then find a similar sized tube and cut it to what ever length you want.
3. find a small jar, container, shampoo top or something with similar sized threads and a cap.
4. cut the cap and threads off and fit to opposite end of mop.
5. glue everything together with hot glue or caulk. (do this well as to prevent leackage).
5. get a chalk board eraser cut a new nib that will be more durable than the wimpy sponge.

Congradulations, you have made a dope homemade marker that, drips as much as you want because of the valve, is super easy as hell to refil, dosen&#39;t leak, and easily consealable&#33;

(this is what mine looks like, without the kiwi cap, and missing the nib)

Hey i kno a perfect place to get suppiles for markers and such....if u dont have a graffiti store in your area. Maybe you have a "hobby lobby".
they have 2 inch wide markers that are refillable.spray paint.nibs inks all kindas stuff. Shit is easy to rack cause the store is huge.. like a grocery store no cameras and no metal strips..Perfect&#33; gotta check hobby lobby out if u have 1 near u&#33;

(this is what u needed the candel for if u were wondering)lite the and let it burn for a while turn the nib holder upsidedown then pour the wax into the back of it.but dont cover the nib in wax pour it around (u do this so non of the extra ink will drain out) fill the marker shell with any type of ink that u like DO NOT FILL WITH THINED PAINT IT WILL JUST CLOG IT while the wax is still soft screw it back on os it makes a air tight seal recap and stand it on its head for a bit but not too long or else when u open it the ink that colected in the cap will spill all over u. doin this to the marker makes it last longer and u use all the ink u put in it

if not enough ink is comin out from the "nib" of ur mop, then squeeze more.....or the nib is kinda dry. just make sure it dont crust up all the way or else its not gonna work (use ur imagination)...or what u can do is take out the lil flow restrictor (sp) from the bottom of the sponge. but watch out cuz its gonna drip alot....

Go rack an eraser from your school and wash the chalk out... works best and is the cheapest.

I&#39;m in the process of making a new marker now... For anybody that plays hockey, it&#39;s a empty "Ice Wax" container with leftover wax melted into the bottom.. just need some ink and itll be good to go

ya everyone has diferent opinions, but what would yall say is the best marker AND ink for non-drippy tags

yo the roller makes a pretty nice line, not to thick but thats not how i always like it, especally in small spaces like mirrors and shit. it makes like a 1/3 inch line. really smooth too

i just use a pentel with extra ink in that shit its amazing the nib weats out a little to quickly though.

white out is the most fricken pernament fricken thing ever. you might have to thin it a little and then yeah..its awesome

anyone ever tried taking a highlighter, emptying little tube filled with the ink stuff and put their ink in that? just wonderin if it would work....i shall go try it&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;

hmm i found a chapstick on the ground when i was taggen up my schools library .....

i know the homade chapstick marker steps are here somewhere but to much pages.. can someone tell me again how too maken one.

are these the right steps.
1st emtpy the chapstick.
2nd fill it with your own ink( can it be paint? if not where can i get paint thinner or shouldi add water?)
3rd find chalkbaord earser ( can a dishwashing sponge be use? or styrofoam or however you spell it. or anything else.)
4th tape it up real nice or use krazy glue ( how do i make the nib stay in place real good crazy glue?)
