found one of these at the local drugstore in the hair supplies section. its for making your hair shinnier or some crap. who cares, its for the bottle.

its a screw cap which is awesome for mops. the tip is this little nipple squeezer applicator.

nib pulls out like a typical kiwi mop type.

now you might be tempted to just stuff the bottle right now with a fat nib and cap it. i want it to be thinner like a marker which uses less paint and compliments the small size of the bottle. So, i cut part of the squeezer applicator off just as it starts to get wide. This also helps the cap to fit around the nib.

next, jus stuff a small piece of soft eraser felt into the opening you jus made.

and bam, you got yourself a nice pocket sized mop thats easy to squeeze and control. the plastic on the body is nice and thick so it won't lose form.

i chose some sunburst yellow gk as my color.

oh i forgot to mention about the mop. the hardest part is cleaning that stuff out cause its a shampoo like consistency that leaves behind a filmy crap all inside the bottle so clean it out good with napkins, q-tips whatever.

i dont know if all bingo dabbers are the same size but the bingo dabbers that i got have nibs that definately would not fit on this bottle. but of course you can always find other bottles that they will probably fit on. and its strange that you got bingo dabbers that aren't squeezable.

Just so everybody knows.....those drip mop minis they sell at 4rt Primo....you can find the EXACT same container....go to Hobby Lobby and go see where they have the fabric markers....you'll see a box that says TeeJuice Fabric Markers....snatch one, pull off the nib, dump ink, fill with GOOD ink...you have an AMAZING drip mop.....

i took an ink pen, umm blue i think and put it inside the streaker and blew all the ink into it. it was really messy. but it turned purple i was like omg when i found it.

I recommend a Zig 2 in 1 Glue pen, or a Woodcraft...so yeah, pretty much one with a pump....

Hobby Lobby....dont look in the glue aisle...look in the Scrapbooking Aisle...with all the Scrapbook Paper....trust me....or Meijer's, Michaels, etc....

Try it in a Zig Posterman if you want....all i know is that it will for sure work in a woodcraft/2in1....

Add the sharpie inks that are as close in color as you can get....and blow like 2 pen tubes into it....shake well!

a marker is just like gravity fed and a flowpen is like you make the ink go down like a bitch

sometimes as rogue showed us before with the circle tip marker who doesnt have any pump valve
you write and it make streaks you know
people buy flowpens because they are actually able to juice the nib enough so no streaks appears and you can make drips with it if you pump like a bitch of crack you just have to press on the nib and there a little valve in the marker that makes ink go in the nib by a small hole , the more you pump , the more the hole is open and ink flow through it

a "marker" is usually figured to be a Tampon marker... Tampon marker being one that has no pump system. A Pilot, is all it is. A pilot SC-6600 is a Tampon marker

Now the Flowpen is a Tube, with a pump system, pump system being a seal held there by a spring until you push down the nib, releasing the ink as you write, causing the drips...

Now you know.

try very finely crushed up charcoal. i did a comparison with ink that didnt have charcoal in it and ink that did. the ink that had charcoal in it was a deeper black. completely went over the other ink

and about the same amount of of alcohol
and its really chunky
didnt grind my charcoal up taht good
so i am gonna grind it up better
and keep messing with it

dont put the cap on
bcuz it starts letting out air and it will pressurize the bottle

Just bleed the marker out until it comes to a slow drip.. Thats what I do with my tampon markers, Ex. Pilot SC 6600.

The one Razor always posts... It came out horrible. My pastels wouldn't melt and so i added water and crushed them making a paste the the other stuff and it just came out thick and crappy.

If theres too much ink in your marker throw some cotton into the barrel to absorb some. (Like inside a pilot or a sharpie)

ok...today i was out bombing with a kiwi mop and i went into the local pharmacy(it has a big art section) to look for paint markers and i seen the zig baby biggie glue markers for like 7.29 so i racked one of them. when i got done i went to a friends house and we poured out the glue and ordered some ink off BS. inside is a valve pump thing like in OTRs and i was wondering if i need to leave that in or take it out?

Leave the Pump system in, it is what the marker revolves around...

Just turn is upside down and put the nib to a flat horizontal surface and push the marker up and down and pump that ink into the nib and you should have a great marker there...
Anytime you need to fill that nib again, pump it again..

i hope no one has asked this before but, what if the 2 in 1 glue marker has been used so the glue is in the nib? water doesnt seem to get much of the glue out. does anyone have any suggestions of anything i may be able to soak it in or will it eventually just clear out if i use it with ink. thanks.

And for those of you who are complaining about the Zig 2in1 loose nib/dripping ink problem, shove some sticky tack/Handitack in the space between the Nib and the plastic slot for it....now its leakproof around the sides! And the nib wont wiggle as much!

thanx..i found some roll on stamp pad pilot ink in my grandpas office today(similar to the tube mitchum roll on deoderant comes in) and i popped out the ball and poured the ink in the zig-added some dot3...about to go out and add just a little thinner-but i caught 4 tags w/ it and one of them dripped a tiny bit(4 drips i think) and it works like a charm! thank guys!

Me and my mates were messing with kiwi mops for the first time the other day, and i have to say, as nice as they are, personally, id rather something a tighter and more precise. With a kiwi I find myself doubling up and going over in wierd places cuz the nib is so big. Is there something out there I can get/make thats like, a happy medium between a deco (which is unpleasantly small) and a kiwi (which i find to be unpleasantly large)?

Well, if you take out the valve, be aware that when the bottle is squeezed (when using ghetto krink) ink will come out.....when you keep it upright and dont squeeze it it wont come out.....then when you keep the valve in, it wont leak, BUT....YOU MUST PUSH THE NIB IN WHEN YOU WRITE! I dont like that because i write on all sorts of surfaces....so when i have to push it in to write on like a porous cement wall....i dont want my nib to be torn to shreds....make your choice....

Yeah im sure you could man! just kinda fudge with it till you get it....like if its too big, pull it down over the sides until it is sitting on the opening nicely, then sticky tack/rubber band the extra sides down........

Yeah cause ive heard of people using PURE polyurtheane to paste........but its like im not gonna paste using just that, and have to buy a bucket each time....i can just add some to my paste so i dont use as much, but its still very fucking strong! But Polycrylic is the only one that would mix with the paste so....

So....i was thinkin about your Polyurethane recipe (3/4 Poly. 1/4 Thinner and some drops of ink/dye right?) and i think this could be an alternate version for those that can access these easier....this isnt tested yet, im just rough sketching it in my head:

3/4 Polycrylic (Same as Polyurethane i believe, but water based)
1/4 Water (to thin it)
Some drops of Acrylic Paint....

Actually, it is pretty different from a bingo dabber.
The main thing being the nib. It is a different material, solid lines, little or no streaking. Depends on how moist the nib is.

The bingo dabbers are not the same as my mops, from what I have seen, atleast.

The sharpie company bought Uni a few years ago. Those sharpie paints with the pump in 'em (the one he has with chrome) are fucking siiiiick. Fill 'em with grog and you're set. they rock.

the shop here recently got in the krink markers (not mops, markers). they are basically the exact same as those sharpies. i know they have the same nib and a similar pump. but the sharpies can hold more ink, and can be acquired for free (try to rack markers from the graff shop here. hahhaha)

so, my consensus: those sharpie paints = better than krink markers

there not bad man. $3:50 for a homemade mop is not a lot of money man. same with 4 dollars, filled with buff and wehther resistant ink. it makes no difference if your not gonna buy em tho. atleast hes getting something done
