i never hated on code. i may sound like an ass but i never say "oh your fuckin mod is stupid" code motivates me to make my own markers. i like chaleneges and i like to learn from them. he motivated me to go out and attempt to make one my own. and i wanna do that. codes great at markers n such. and he did bring the thread back buy showing a new mod that people probably never though up of. i respect code for that.

use 1 pilot and use a film canister as a cap

the thing is. is that with the film canister i can mod the nib into a white board eraser which leads to thicker lines. itll be more of a minimop actually

^^^PVC Cement is not a rubber cement. it's an alcohol based cement that eats into plastic. I wouldn't recommend it, it dissolves in solvents.

i only have two pilots...well yah i could do both. ill take pictures soon. the glue is drying right now. code whatever i used isnt eating up the plastic. pluss most of the glue is on metal

The metal casing is used, in a sense..
but I hang onto them. Will probably find a use for them somewhere down the road.


Olick, try and make one, I garuntee it's not what you would expect from it..
Nor is it as easy as slipping it right in there..

^^no its a bigger pain in the ass to keep the threads. you have to cut it off. sand it down to the right measurement. its just time comsuming. get codes marker. his is simpler and you dont have to worry about the threads breaking off.

Being refilled through the nib is really a bit easier, if you ask me..
A dripper comes with the marker when you order one, or more, and you use your own ink whenever you want to refill it, or order ink from me, and you get the ink into the dripper and put the tip of the dripper against the nib and squeeze the ink into it.

some oil paint about the same amount and color as the oil pastels.
a bit of white out. (5 drops)
Some liquid super glue (about 3 drops)
about a 5th of a glue stick or half of a Chapstick (make sure its non-washable so it wont wash away!!)

Melt them all together, pour them into the streak
holder, then put in the fridge (not the freezer or it
will dry out) for 5 mins exactly.

Haven't tried the marsh 99, I've heard good things though.
They look sick, valve action and all that fancy stuff, prefer if it wasn't a bullet style nib though.

The soul tips are just the same as any other fabric nib dauber you can find. It's just a matter of finding the right one, cleaning it out propperly, and the right ink...

second. dont waste your money on the soul tip. "unless your extremely rich then idc do wat you want =]" your better off getting bingo daubers or maby a kiwi. search online and youll find hundred of markers with the same tip as the soul tip for half the price. a marker will last as long as how you make it last. you can make a kiwi last a few months or you can make it last a week. it depends what you write on. so i dont kno much about the soul tip. i just suggest to go get a dauber. and if you ruin it thiers no loss. thier really cheap and inexpensive

Only bad thing is that the nib made the original cap not fit so I looked around for another compatable cap and it made a pretty good marker..
After finding that out and being satisfied, I dumped my ink back into its storing botty and threw the bottle away....

the soul tip and the mop in art primo most likey have the same style nib. they can work on many surfaces. i kno for a fact that the mop in art primo has fabric on the nib. which means that it will last you quite a while. any type or ink or paint will flow perfectly threw the soul tip and the mini mop. i advice you not to spent 5 dallors on a mop that you can get for half the price at ****'s website. do your homework and youll find great deals...

by dry out do you mean that itll run outa ink fast. or the ink will settle in the nib makin it rock solid...if thats the case. no it hasnt. make the marker yourself and see that it doesnt. the nib is still juicy. the cap fits on perfect and it doesnnt just "slide" off. you have to pop it off...

another thing. codes marker is great. but his is different then myne. codes FANTASTIC MARKER THAT YOU CAN GET FOR 9 DOLLORS is a tampon marker.=] myne is more on the mop side. it has nothing inside but ink. codes has cotton inside "i think" and that makes it a tampon marker. myne has nothing inside so it just goes straight to the nib. codes MAGNIFICANT MARKER and myne are compeletly different on the scale. different designs same look.

and fyi. ive never had problems with ANY cap coming off. if you carry a marker and your risking the cap fallin off then you should go get another marker. cuz trust me thatll create alot of problems

its really really thin powder pigment. looks like good stuff. go look for a white streak and melt it down. then drop in some gold pearl ex untill you think its the right mixure. then you poor it back in ur streak tube or watever and wait for it to harden. hopefully ull end up with a gold/white streak. =D

nah i was asking about the ghetto marsh 99 and if u knew any mods for a pilot gold and pilot white. they both have pump systems but for some reason the white ones seem to lose all ink in like one letter

The white is quite often VERY oil based. Kind of like the paint inside of a jumbo white sharpie paint marker.

It may have something to do with how you store it. Storing the marker tip down may help with the problem you are having with the paint.

Pumping the paint into the nib vigorously may not do anything but only provide enough paint for one letter, and leaving just the oil base in the nib
