i cant get a good flick but its not that opaque, i had a pentel white and it was like that too. maybe its normal?

For whites, it is normal.

White is apparently a more difficult color to make in the factories so it's loaded down with oil to help keep it streak free and such, when you can get it all in the nib, that is.

I might be getting a new mop this weekend. It's the exact same mop as the DED outdoorsman ink mop. Same nib and all. Will post flicks soon!

it writes alright when u hold it pretty much straight, if its on an angle like a pencil the line gets a little streaky

Your best bet is to rack another nib and replace that nib with the one with the valve system in it.

ok my question is. i mixed up a batch of gk. and i decided to use it in my crappy mini mop from art primo. the reason why its crappy is because ink dried up in the nib a while back and its all ruff. i ran thinner threw it and alcohol and its softened a little. well my question is, is that are all daubers suposed to be streaky with gk? or is it my nib im usin.

that same thing just happened to me with a empty molotow marker i filled it with artline permanant ink and it was fine for the first couple days then the inside got like alll crusted ink around the outside and the nib like dried up and it was capped properly and screwed up where u fill it and all but now the nib is soaking in metho and the tank is full of metho so hope fully that wil fix it up a bit??

Take your knife and cut the rivets along the piece that connects the nib and cap to tha body (you have to do this before you can unscrew it off)

After you have cut around tha piece that holds it to tha body, screw it off, tha pump system comes out with that piece(you can remove it, I'll show u later)

Just respect the fact that i took my time to go the tha store (about 15 miles from my house) get that thing (another 15 miles back), make it, take pics, upload them, then write tha tutorial. Better than most shit that gets posted on here.

2take the insert from one stick and drill holes in it...

3.screw one of the inserts half way down and pour some epoxy or glue in there, otherwise your shit will leak out the bottom. then wind it down a bit and put the other insert wit tha holes in there. that way the first one should hit the bottom when the second one is about one cm indere. practice before you use glue.

i got a queston. and i kno this aint the ink thread...but i got a molotow 612 empty marker...anyone got any ink they recommend to put in it (its got the foam pad in it rather than a valve so metallic inks wont work , and neither will thick inks)

Man I found some zig baby biggies in chicago a week ago and they are nice as fuck.. Dope colors, fat, but the ink washes right off..even without water. I tried filling it with paint but it never comes out right..I guess it's too thick. I need to find some ink :( I always wanted to make a deodarant mop because it's so fat..never did though. Maybe stop by staples and see if they have any ink.

And nib materials? For thick shit its best to use mops.

Thin it out more and do some testing with pump system markers.

use a film canister. if its too loose then wrap electric tape around it till the marker is thick enough so you can put the film canister on it.

the only paint pens in the craft section of the walmart here are those elmers paint pens and they aint good for tagging, unless yur tagging something really small. maybe theyre around the automotive section or something, u never know.

Krylon pens suck for everything, bad nibs, bad paint. It blots, is streaky, and uneven.


Elmers painters are awesome for stickers, they're my favorites.

Chances are they dried up inside the body. Most markers do when they sit on the shelves for so long in the stores.

i had an ******** mini mop but i put it behind my xbox by mistake and it melted and was useless and lost all my ink
so i decided to re use just the tip

u take one of these and screw off the top take out the nib and dump the poster paint out but keep the mixing thing that is if u dont have an extra one

fill it up with junubo or whatever paint u have stick the tip from the mini mop in it a little bit will be sticking out wrap a little bit of electrical tape around the top
and cap with a super sharpie cap
u can get drips if u squeeze really hard but i just dont even waste my time
