im intrested in how exactly you go about getting that type of nib,is it just a fabric you found and threw under that plastic 'cap' if so where to you get that top piece from cause it looks like it would be helpful,or is that the exact nib that comes on a bingo dabber,ive yet to see what bingo dabbers my local store has stocked but im keen to know this beforehand

theres no crack in it at all. the ink just comes out all around the nib when its in my pocket... it soeaked thrugh my jeans and turned my leg black. ill try using a sock next time i make a marker. are they durable? thanks for tips.

For all of you complaining about only being able to rack white meanstreaks, all you need is a pen tube.

Just twist the streak up a bit, stab the pen tube into it, then blow in the ink. Let it sit overnight, then all of the ink will have soaked into the streak making it any color you like.

for a good white ghetto dalo marker go to raleys or something and get a bic correction pen the squezzer one...you can refill them and tweak 'em out to write like...half fingernail width

if you squeeze it, the line will be wider. if you thin out some gk enough and fill it, you can get some drips. try it, it works well on most surfaces (even rough). good for small spaces. oh yeah, dont use ink (only paint) in it uness you want it to look like the pen is having diarreah or however you spell it.

I went into the craft store the other day and in the glue section came across some beautiful glue sticks...... they are called Zig... both styles I saw were pump. 1 was like an otr, but a mid sized(smaller then the normal sized otr, and bigger then the pocket sized) and the other had a wider nib around the size of a mini wide.....both had pump valves and both were extremely easy to rack hahaha......now what to put in them

Yea you take a lit candle and drip some wax to the bottom of the container to seal the bottom. take a sock and shove that shit up in there and fill wit ink.. messy as fuck and dripppppppppppyyyyyyy..keep it in a zip lock bag...

terra cotta markers efilled are pretty nice. they dont leak as much as alot of ther markers(zigs etc)

Has anyone tried Enamel Paint markers? I was out racking today (scored about $100 in $3 paint markers) and grabbed a Testors Chrome Enamel Paint Marker. It was in the model car section. It has a chisel tip.

thanks man. I barely had todo anything to it really. It's a glue marker I got from staples and when I took it it had a STAPLES glue marker sticker on it. So you'll obviously find it there. The nib on it was perfect, I might be able to get a picture of it if you want. Not that messy, just don't hold it upside down or it can get messy. And the paint is home made.

no trust me, the **** mops are much neater, it looks clean cause he did it on the ground, not on a wall, in reality, after carrying one of thse mops in you bag for a week or so, the plastic will be so soft and squishy from the paint thinner that it will ooze all over your shit. My backpack is half yellow cause of those fuckers....

heres my guide for the best mop ever

1. buy a kiwi bottle or any shoe polish with that design
2. combine 1/4 black polish 1/4 paint thinner 2/4 ur favorite rust proof paint
3. fill the kiwi bottle 1/2 with that
4. then take ur favorite spray paint
5. spray it all in the bottle and when it hits the top it should be cold
6. cap quick and dont shake!!!!!!!!
7. store in fridge
8. before use shake 2 or 3 times and use
9. it will preasure out its awesome

...questions these days. ill try to help. atleast i havnt heard it before =]

1. the paint might have dried inside the nib. and no water will not take it out. clean the nib by soaking it in mineral spirits and blow all the paint out. its a painstaking process but itll eventually clean SOME of the dreid paint out. not all of it.

2. it could be that you didnt shake your "paint" eonugh and the paint was a very thick liquid. and maby its too thick to flow in the nib. you shake the marker so all the clumbs of paint and other shit mix togather evenly with the thinner. if you dont shake it. the two things will divide.

3. hold down the nib for a long long time. if no paint is flowing threw then its prolly to thick. if paint is flowing threw "but around the edges of the nib" thats fine. it doesnt really bother me. but if you want it to flow IN the nib then shake that bitch up and thin it

first take the felt out of the top of the marker

then get a bottle this shape

pop the top off, empty the contense, and wash it out

after that put your ink in and jam the felt in tightly so it sticks out about 2 ml.(you may have to stab holes in it to flow through)

then put the cap on and shake it and its good to go

well, it took a night of having the marker upside down, but now it works fine. i would definately go with the Foray Whiteboard cleaner next time. I had one, but it got taken up with the rest of my stash. The shitty part is, that the OTR ink mixed with my ink(which stains hard as fuck) and with that, no wide ass lines with remarkable stains. just a black ink marker. mild stains at best. Atleast after you let the Forays dry up, you can fill them without affecting ink quality. So yeah. i guess i gotta flush out the bad ink before i get good stains.

I have, for some reason, just as of recent opened my eyes to the wonderful Pilot jumbo, I have just never though it to be part of my arsonal...but after acquiring several I am notecing a bit of variation in them. I know that they are refillable, but are they all? I see some with a black bottom (plastic removable I presume,) while the run of the mill store one is merely a plain metal bottom. Do i need to order the refillable ones, or are the others refilled by removing the top.
