does anyone like the deco bodies but like filled with gk or something the only problem ive had is after the nib is rockhard it is like a cotton ball

and its like not comming out...
i took out the spiral thingy under the nib....
...but its like not comming out
what did i do wrong?
or do i just have to wait till the ink leaks threw the nib

if your ink is thin then just squeeze it should come out and if it is thick add a marble or something to stir with but you always have to squeeze with bingo dabbers or it will rip the foam

i got 2 moltow tanks, one with candy in it and the other with ****. and the candy isn't eating away the plastic of the tank....should i leave the felt in because the tags look really really transparent like no ink is getting 2 the nib.

1. what color ink is it. if its a light color "pink. orange. yellow" it will definetly not show up on dark surface

2. does it make clean smooth lines. or does it write all streaky.

i think the reason why you dont like it cause transparent is because the color of the ink you got. if it writes clean smooth lines then its the ink u used.

well i got the ink, and the first time i used it it was nice and dark...kinda i wrote on white. the second time still on white it was a lot lighter....its pink btw. but im thinking about taking out the felt. because to get them to write dark they have to basically sit upside down for an hour and thats only for one tag lol.

get one of those ink pads for stamps and like cut the pad out...

it seems like it would be tough enough and is already soaked in some pretty good black depending on what brand you get

just make sure thier juiced up really good. i got the tagstar "basically the same shit" and it was really streaky. had to make a few mods just to get it workin the way i wanted

juice it up alot. but keep in mind that this was mine. i dont kno if it hapend to all wide markers or tampon markers.

1. stabbed the nib like a bajilion times to make it softer
2. added more ink ALOT MORE
3. took out the cotton inside
4. made sure thier were not leaks
5. stab the nib some more from the inside of the marker
6. put back like 70% of the cotton for more ink flow
7. put teflon tape around the threads so no leaks
8. closed the bitch and used it.

but now the threads broke "cheap ass thing like it was made in china. curse otr" haha so i dont use it nemore. but it was good lwhile it lasted

I made a marker out of berol dry wipe marker, that teachers use on white boards at skool. I got da white board eraser. Took apart the marker filled it wid ink, glued the felt from eraser instead of the nib and it worked. and all for free as teachers leave em lying around.

another idea ok if you get the body of likea nice sized marker and super a peice of plastic right in the midle will you get a 2 tone tag (im not talike about a mop i mean a marker i think a mop thi ink would just come together at the nib)
but fill up either side of the plastic with a different color

i just remembered a cool little thing you can do to get cool colors with deco markers
yeah their nibs are small but they're still cool for taggin little shit like windows or w/e

just the nib out of a marker u used already, and put it in another marker.
after a while the paint in the nib will get "overpowered" by the paint in the new marker but for awhile it will get this kick ass marble two toned effect

it works me and this kid tried it with pink and yellow

the body is the same but the nib isnt. paint doesnt flow through it, imm not sure about ink. even if ink did flow through, you probably wouldnt get drips.

I just got my order in today in which I bought a OTR (Circle-Tip), OTR Cold Sweat, and finally but not to be taken lightly the wonderful Molotow Tank. I must say that these products are superior in many ways to your run of the mill markers quick for the ganking at the local shop or whatever the hell your place in which items find themselves tagging along back to the house with you without some sort of transaction....but are they? The tank I must say is fine for what it does and what it is set out to do (do it big), and to be quite honest I like the Cold Sweat marker, but what has me bent a slight bit at the moment is the OTR Circle Tip marker. I am unsure that I have yet to test its full capabilities but when writing I feel things to be indistinguishable from the next...meaning my shit runneth together more so than I need. The more space i have I still feel it is cramped and bleeding into the next, hell maybe its just me but I feel as if the pen does not let me control it. This brings me to my point, I guess reverting back to what I always use you just cant go wrong..PILOT JUMBO baby, that thing is sweet as the moring sun (and possibly a crisply twisted blunt waiting in the ashtray). Well I am not saying dont order this particular marker but try it first, just clumsy to me. Well stay up fellas and those few ladies out there.

i agree....the cold sweat is bomb... the circle tip i have yet to try out...may i suggest adding ur own ink to the circle tip??

wow today I bought an OTR scrawl pen from my local shop because it was pretty cheap, but it was not worth it. These markers are terrible. Do not waste your money or life on these terrible markers. The only good thing about it is the guy gave me 2 caps for free, but overall I still wasted 5 dollars.

yeahh.... at first i though otrs were the best.. but then i found out the hard way that they get streaky and dried up after the 3rd tag.. they dont even drip. stick to mops people.

u can't use outdoorsmen in a marker, you need a mop. and insidejob does fade.. but it works in markers and is pretty dope.

just wondering is it cool or something to have a rediculosly drippy tag and throw out a perfectly good marker because t has a pump and you dont get drips i dont know about anyone else but im pretty into clean tags although i like dripps occasionaly lately it has just been overkill

/\ thats funny shit hahah...i dono man, all i use is streaks: glass plastic metal whatever. paint really does the rest for me. every now and then drips are tight with gk or some other paint but i kind of get over carrying that shit around...if anything ill use a scribe or some mini mop but kiwis get too big and shit. Its like your putting too much energy into it for something thats just gonna get buffed the next day. i think bingos and all that jazz are way "cooler" as you say than other drippers cuz you have more control over your lines and you can mod them to get lines and drips that nobody else has, plus they are smaller than otr's and all that bullshit.

naw its not 'cool' to have a drippy ass tag. and pitchin out markers, tisk tisk, the bodies are perfect skeletons for your own homemades and whatnot. dont fret, clean tags can be dope too, nobody said you have to hit shit up with mops too to be a respected writer. and as for the spraypaint kid, lol, he'll learn.

ive done that, it works pretty well. just pop the black thing at the bottom off take out the felt, rip the nib out, replace nib, fill with ink, put the bottom back on. its pretty simple. i didnt get any leaks what so ever.

well 1st try to fill it with water and use it

if it dosnt work try some deluted chemikles (mineral spirits paint remover or alchahol)

i said water 1st because u dont wana mess the nib up (same reason i said deluted)

I've made 3 mops.

The first was the traditional Kiwi mop.

Then I started messing around with household items.

I found a stamp roller, it had ink in it and a rolling ball thing for it. I popped the ball out, emptied the ink, and filled with GK. Unfortunately, it leaked quite a bit, so I lost a lot of the paint.

Now I made one out of an Acrylic Paint bottle. It was squeezable, and yeah. I emptied the paint, and added GK once more. The nibs for both of these were made custom from sponges. Pretty awesome.

I had a failed attempt at a Highlighter mop. I don't know what happened. I stuffed it with a sponge, which seemed really sturdy, but it must've come out. I ended up losing a highlighter full of paint, and got it on my pants.

Anyway, that's my experiences.

Lol yea it is strange, KRink = KR ink... but its paint.... lol the crazy graffiti writers. Anyone know of a good way of getting the bottom piece off of glue sticks? I guess I apply too much force/i'm doing it wrong because it always ends up breaking the bottom part off leaving the stick part stuck in the tube.

From what I hear rouge's book is going really good. I haven't had a chance to "translate" it yet though, I think he wants to wait until he finishes putting in all the formulas first and then he will give me the "rough draft" to translate over. After that we just gotta self publish it. And about the gluestick marker, yea the nib and the cap get really close but I'm a VERY poor teenage writer so I gotta make my inventory out of whatever I can haha.

The nib needs some work, but this was from my random bottle mop.

However, when squeezed it makes a really sick, smooth, solid line.

i found that if u take a pair of needle nose pliers and kind of hold the bottom of the gluestick the part u turn, and take the pliers and grab the lile thign inside, and twist alot of them break off, or weaken. if it dosent break off u should be at elast able to break off about half of it. u dont need it all the way out.

staz on are really good. not that squeezable but they dont leak cause they have kind of a seal that covers the nib on the cap, kind of like a pepsi bottle. u can get big drips if u take out the regulator.

^^^ Lol those are just **** mops (which are window chalk mops) with an _______ label. Not really worth 3.49 if it is empty. Racking is cheaper... Hell an **** mop with ink included is like what 4.99? cheaper alternative IMO
