sweet. what i'm thinking about doing is either castings a mold and just making my own cap or measuring the distance between the ridges on the container and make the cap concave so that it goes around the nib and shrinks down near the end so that it can be threaded on.



Edit: Found a flaw in my concave plan. Smaller bottom means I wouldn't be able to fit it past the nib. I could shave down the nib but i like just how fat it is.

mate, what i would suggest, is getting something circular that looks too big for what you have already, the mop,
and wrapping very good electrical tape around the base
keep testing your lid until u have a very nice snug fit
cover ur tape area in super hard glue, cover with another layer of tape,
and force the lid on once completely drywork it back and forth get it lubed
use ;)

ok, you empty out a kiwi shoe polish, clean it out, put your favorite ink/paint in it, put the nib (sponge) back on. Now, what I do also, is I wrap the nib in a piece of cloth, or sock or whatever, and then I put a rubber band around it so it stays on, this way the nib wont rip as easy. enjoy :D

its all about personal preference my friend. you either keep it if u dont like drips or dont keep it if u like drips. personally i love drips so i take them out. be careful when your squeezing the marker without a penis because it will drip from the side and thats a waste of ink.

If you look at the mop. There should be a TINY line where the nib plastic meets the bottle. If you use a x-acto knife you can separate it and then pull it up and refill the mop. Or you can just hold onto the plastic and pull like hell and it will also come off.

Yea sorry I didn't post about it. I just took the top that came with the kiwi and forced it on. Worked pretty good actually. After a few times it just became second nature.

yeah, fill with 1/3 acetone to 2/3 regular paint thinner, it will make it to the flexibility you want. :)

wow i just made a pretty nice purple inked bingo dabber, bt i use hot glue and i wanted some glue thats more intense, so i go jack this super glue at the dollarstore, its not like a stick its like a tube, so im playing around wit it then i get some all over my fingers and my middle and index finger were stuck together for like 15 minutes lol

uhh the street painter is dope besides the nib as harry stated and its definately not squeezable but the street duster is acrylic and shitty it says opaque paint marker but the paint is far to watery to be opaque. i think there the perfect sized marker but the nib did bend and get sloppy after about 6-10 tags and they were on like inside of bathroom stalls and painted steel boxes. i think im going to send an email to otr and complain maybe they wont be so chincy.

get a sharpie metallic postr paint and unscrew the top part so u can see the pump.
glue a piece uv sponge or felt on and u get drips
dont hold upside down.
u can refil it if u take out the pump

i got one from art primo when i was in seattle, the nibs are pretty hard and they run out kinda fast. if your going for a smaller marker get a drip mini mop. if you dont want drips you should try a molotow pocket burner, i have found T nibs to be much better

ahhh, michaels is a great place my friend, was just over there the other day, had a great time. Anyway thanks for the advice man, I'll try that with the flowpen.

Oh yeah and Rude Bwoy, i've never used one but the Markwells do look like they would kind of be like Montanas, and from experience Montana markers are relatively easy to buff but the colors are sick as hell(which is really what matters in my book anyway). I don't really trip when it comes to buffability though, because if your shit gets buffed it get buffed you know, its just sick to look at while its there if you know what I mean. So in conclusion yeah I think you should take a chance and buy some Markwells and see how you like em.

window chalk markers work the best get a big one, take the little mechanism that regulates the paint amount , emty it and fill it with your favorite ink/paint. my favorite is buket paint with just a little bit of paint thinner
