Art Primo- $3.49
Pilot Online Store-$3.79
Art Primo may sound like ur best bet, but i can almost gaurantee ur total cost (w. shipping) is gonna be cheaper by ordering off the Pilot Online Store.
But before u do order, check around ur town for a few local art stores, i could NEVER find them anywhere around me, but then i remembered about this small local art and hoby store we have here, and wat do ya know, they had 3 in stock and the lady told me she should be getting more in soon. Plus i get a student discount so why bother ordering? haha

If you don't see them in the store just go up to the cashier and be like, " Excuse me may I talk to your manager?" then explain to him about the 30mm Zig 2 ways and ask if he can put an order in for you as you'd like to buy some. He'll/She'll more than likely say ok and then let you know when the shipment will arrive (which will also help because you know when they get all their new supplies so you can rack them fresh out of the box). Then just go back to the store the day it should have arrived and rack them as well as pay for 1 just in case because the manager will get really suspicious if they all went missing and not one was paid for. DONE. This can be done with ANY product pretty much. Enjoy.

Rack up a zig, bingo dauber, kiwi, martha stewart, pilot, etc.
Make your own ink.

gives you like a 7 inch by 1 inch mark. huge caligraphy tags
VHS MARKER
Ok. Here's the recipe.
Materials:
VHS tape
screwdriver
exacto knife
craft glue gun and glue sticks (or epoxy)
duct tape
lots of your favorite ink
old sock, or other filler
2 chalkboard erasers
You are better off getting one of the VHS tapes with the plastic sleeve, since that's inkproof. First, you pull off the cover that protects the exposed tape. This is where the chalkboard erasers will go. Next, unscrew the tape and take everything out. What you want to do now is use the duct tape and epoxy to seal off the interior, so it won't leak all over you. Don't put the tape back together yet. You need to cut all the plastic junk out, so you can stuff the tape case with filler, and insert the eraser felt. Use the utility knife for this. Remember! Cut away from yourself, so you don't sever an artery or something. Once you're pretty sure the felt will fit into the marker, put it together and seal the edges with the epoxy, and then tape over it.
Ok. We're about halfway there. Now that you have a completely sealed container for your ink, you can cut up your filler and stuff the tape with it. The less you put in, the drippier your marker will be, since there's less to soak up the ink. 3/4 full is a pretty good amount. Now you're ready to put in the nib, or marking surface. Cut up the chalkboard eraser so that it fits into the space. You have to use a full one, and cut some from the second to fill up the remaining space. Once you got this all together, you can epoxy it in place. If you want it to hold together longer, epoxy all the eraser pieces together. Sometimes they fall apart if you don't do this. Make sure the epoxy makes a nice seal around, so all your ink doesn't leak out when you try to write.
Now you can fill with ink and start writing. Have a lot of ink, because it takes a lot to fill this bad boy. Use the tape case as a cover.

if you want some thing like it get sharpie magnum they are at least decent and easily rackable to refill just cut em open
Why even cut em open? I just racked 2 of em today! those things are mad easy to rack.
acereborn
03-02-2008, 12:40 AM
If someone cut them open, it would be to put some real ink in them.
I don't see a point in that though, because they suck, and its a waste to cut it open, then seal it up, etc.
Isn't like everything easy to rack nowadays?

yo, i have a one of those huge shitty "sir" marks alots and when i got it i noticed that theres just a whole with a nib in it. the strange thing is about this, is that the nib DOES NOT completely cover the fucking hole. SO, i put indian ink in there and figured hey ill just glue it. I stoped because i wanted to ask you guys what you though I should use the fill the excess space around da nib, na mean playa...
ALSO MY *****S, if i wanted to make a nib out of a sock how would i do that.
ps- i know about the chalk eraser nib action shit i just wanna know something i can do now because 1 i do not posses a eraser nib action shit and uhh i have that ink sitting there with out that cap on.
yeah thanks for answering my question(with a bunch of shit i already knew) haha its cool though, thanks anyway i appreiated. i was actually really trying to see if anybody had a ghetto ass McGiever shit they could fill me in on, if you know what im saying (for the retards that don't know what im saying, im talkin about a made up mod for the marker). I've just got a black and blue woodcraft today.
HEADS UP-If anybody has a FOOT ACTION shoe store around them, go to it. They've got these shoe polish mops that are 5 & 1/4in. and a little bit fatter than woodcrafts(yess with the cap ooon). the shoe polish is white, which is good for lightening up colors if you leave like 20% or less(whatever you want sucka) and the little shits are easy to rack. FOOT ACTION seems to only have two people working at there at all times so its pretty tight. you guys should check it out if you haven't already. i personally find that the kiwi bottles aren't comfortable and i want something that feels like im holding my own meat, na' sayin kid ? just kidding, but seriously, i perfer the marker-like-structure of this one. I've made two of them and they work great. They have the pump system in them but you can just cut that out if you want mad drip. i haven't seen anything on this site about it so, id figure id say something.

since we're talking abotu the squeezer 25 thought i'd post this review by man codesucht
--------------------
Well folks, our first Mop review here on the Writers Room forum!
What mop is it? It's the Squeezer Mop 25, found on Bombing Science. (between you and I, it's about the only good thing there. The shop that is)
Well here are some pictures.
The body is Highly Squeezable. Very desired feature in mops!
The nib..
Very endurable material. Great Nib!
Provides solid lines!
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee46/sublime_terrorist/DSCN3324.jpg
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee46/sublime_terrorist/DSCN3325.jpg

http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee46/sublime_terrorist/DSCN3327.jpg
The body, as you can see, is quite large, making for a Maximum ink Capacity
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee46/sublime_terrorist/DSCN3328.jpg
Filling it was easy, as with most mops
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee46/sublime_terrorist/DSCN3329.jpg
As I said, Solid Solid Solid lines, without squeezing
http://i229.photobucket.com/albums/ee46/sublime_terrorist/DSCN3330.jpg
And now, the final, Beautiful Product...

you could always just throw a sock over it when it gets used
Sintakz
03-07-2008, 05:44 PM
Um.... no.... they are made of felt. To make felt you need to start with wool, that's all you're getting, go find out for yourself.
acereborn
03-07-2008, 06:04 PM
Haha, I don't know why I said foam, I guess it just came out wrong.
And I'm a dumbass :)
Materials
1. Platic Pipe (the diameter is up to you..)
2. Pipe lids (can be found where you buy pipes )
3. Carpet
4. Sponge
5. Paint
6. Knife, Screwing Tool, Sandpaper
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/toozler/marker/Dsc01456.jpg
1. Cut the pipe into the size you want (i don't recommend larger than 10cm). Use the sandpaper to smooth the borders of the pipe.
2. Use the screwing tool (i'm not sure if thats the name), to create a screw on the pipe, so you can later on attach the lid. Do it on both sides, because you need a lid for the carpet/sponge tip, and another lid to refill the marker.
You can also paint the pipe (spray paint works) right now, or can do it later on.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/toozler/marker/Dsc01460.jpg
This is how it should look
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/toozler/marker/Dsc01461.jpg
3.Now the tricky part.. Depending on what kind of paint you're using, the carpet X sponge ratio will change. If your paint is very THICK, then you must use a lot more of SPONGE. Probally you will have to try a few times before you find the perfect ratio, so your marker won't be dripping or impermeable.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/toozler/marker/Dsc01462.jpg
In this case, i was using a very thin paint, so thats why i'm using a lot of carpet. Roll the carpet, with the sponge inside, and place it inside the pipe.
Make sure its tight, or it's gonna fall. If it's not tight, add more sponge or carpet.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/toozler/marker/Dsc01463.jpg
Inside the pipe:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/toozler/marker/Dsc01464.jpg
4. Rub the tip on the sand paper, or on a cement floor, so it will be smoother. (never forget to do this step if you're using a lot of carpet)
5. Fill your marker, and put the lids on . Remember to always have the lid on, and the tip down.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v146/toozler/marker/Dsc01474.jpg
Thanks to toozler from sr forums for this

next time ur at ur local store, pop open another deco and pull the nib out and take the cap. or just rack another one. u could try soaking the nib in sum thiner, and for a cap find another old marker or sumthign that fits over the end of the marker and just wait till u go get sum new decos

any one ever seen these?...they come in mad colors but the ink is madd thick..you can use the ink it has in it but you have to thin it out..but for this demonstration i jus emptyed it out and use my own ink..

comes with a twist of top...you can pull the nib out and re-fill when needed..smaller than most MiNI MOPS...you can get drips if you want just squeeze

i emptied it and added basic pen ink. its one of my favorite mops since its so small. very good for clean, dripless tags
note: the sharpie was just for a size comparison

A marker I made out of scratch a few hours ago:
http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l283/kim_esgasane4209/graff002.jpg
all it is is just a blistex chapstick tube(with the metal ball) and some homemade pen ink.
The results(i'm still a toy btw):

maybe you could take the metal ball out and replace it with a mop nib, might get better results?
Yuckasfuck

Yea that seems like the first thing i'd do lol, unless it works well....
If you fitted a valve under the ball it'd be sweet, had a similar idea a while back n u basically get a homemade dalo minus the pressure.

ayo if u take the bottle of lotion tht comes with the sample pack of proactiv shit, take off the top, and the kiwi tip fits perfectly in, makes it more mini, then just take a film canister, and put tape around the lotion bottle until the film canister cap fits on snugly

Will **** ink flow through a woodcraft? It's partly an ink question partly a marker question so I asked it here because everyone in the ink thread likes to trip over questions that are actually relevant to the topic ;]

I don't know if this is where I should ask this question but here it goes do any of you guys know where in the USA you can get dalo markers I'd like to know what stores carry them I've checked home depot, lowes, and tractor supply so any ideas would be helpful
Sintakz
03-12-2008, 12:22 PM
You won't find them in normal stores. They are for industrial writing and shit so you'd have to find a place that supplies stuff for construction and shit. Or just order em.
acereborn
03-12-2008, 12:51 PM
or check out a local graff shop, lots should have them
Steel!

as long as were on the subject of industrial markers.. are there any places u can go to get meanstreaks and sakuras? (saukuras preferably)
would lowes or any other hardware store carry them?
