Used some cheap super glue, need to tape it and it would be fine. It can't be upside down or it will leak.
End result, at least it writes and makeing it was fun.

Can I use some of those cotton thingys what you use for cleaning up your face for my mop. I have seen some mops with cottonball nibs and shiiied. Would it work? And if I put some of those inside my mop, would it suck some ink in it and dosent leak so much? (But I quess if so, it dosent write so well)


ive tried it, but they rip too easily. you could always have a bunch on you, and replace them when they wear down, but its a waste of your ink and time.

go to an art store and rack a couple StazOn mops. they're by the stamp pads and such. or you can buy the oriental trading mops, which are pretty cheap.

Hey guys, i found a material that is good to use for a nib. It is like a scotch brite pad, and it kind of looks like mo' hair? But yea, here are some pics.

The material on the left is the pad that i used. And that is my homemade mop.

i pulled out the plastic part DO NOT take out the metal ball point its hard to put together and like i said b4 its gonna pump so make sure you dont pump it b4 you decide refill it.

What kinda markers do people use on canvases, stickers, and flesh? I mean for stickers i been uses crayolas even cause im cheap and spraying them clear paint so they won't fade. But I dont know what people use when they spray paint a canvas and use markers over it. Or on flesh...like the fresh colors and stuff

Those pentel whites are the shit for windows.
One of the only markers that's really good with no modding.
Tile grout pens are similar and they hold up better outdoors.

Dont rip out the cotton in it, that just fuck it up, when ur done using the ink thats already in it (urs are empty so w.e) just fill it w. ur own ink and keep using it.

i racked like 12 sharpie paints last nite..but wondered how the hell does paint go through them....is it cuz they might have a special nib or because the paint is thin

Yea that'll work. When i do it i pour JUST enough to hear a little bit shake around in it, then im good to go.

So apparently waterbased markers ink doesn't last outside long or from what I've heard from you guys, anyway, I was wondering what inks I could refill my markers with that I can get at Michaels, or any other store that a small city has. Not waterbased ink, ink that will last until it gets buffed, or a good staining ink that stands up to the elements, which I think is oilbased ink or correct me if I'm wrong. Mostly black and white, probaly like light blue and light green too. Also, what does addin' brakefluid or whatever shit do to your ink. Sorry for the toy post.

okay well.
first off,
i doubt you'll get good INK at michaels.
but, you can go to walmart and get some bucket paint and paint thinner and put it in a mop to make some gk.
all brake fluid does to your ink is make it dry much slower, so it can soak more in the surface you're writing on.

if I were you I would get sharpie paint markers

For me, It faded after 4 months in the winter... Make sure to get the big nib kinds and you're all good.

take out the flow regulator thing
paint is thick no matter how thin you can get it
un less you are using ink nothing is going to flow correctly through a stampendous
it just saves a lot of effort trying to get the consistency right

fish2 not the best choice but it will if its all you got. look for the circular nibbed ones.

and FYI thinned out paint type ink is always really buffable, as it doesnt sink into the surface, it just sits on top
where as a quality ink(pilot/garvey) will sink into the surface, making it far more difficult to take off

Plus oil/xylene based paint looks much nicer, and is much more weatherproof

Hey, I didn't want to make a whole new post for this, and this is the marker thread. I have 10 sharpie paint pens, and they're running out of paint/ink. When they're done, I wanted to empty them and refill with my own recipe. Looking at it, I can tell it would be easy enough to just pop the tip part off, empty the gunk, and refill, plus all the nibs are in decent enough condition. I just don't know the interior is setup. Making a mess doesn't matter as long as it works. Anyone with experiance with them, could you message me? Thanks alot anyway.

ya i have refilled them before.(pen ink and ****). just like refilling most markers.

1.uncap marker
2. pull out nib, and take the top off(turn to the left)
3.pop the valve out
4.clean and refill (do not over fill)
5.put back together
6.tag shit

I just went to Michael's today and they didnt have any zig 2 way gluesticks!!!!! I was pissed, they only had zig markers, but i still racked some paint pens so its all good. Does anyone else know where to get zig 2 way gluestick or something similar?

ya mops are pretty straight forward. I prefer a squeezable body and the more ink/paint it holds the better. also most nibs are interchangeable so don't get to hung up about them look for a mop with the shape and size you prefer and go from there.

i use a expert's choice shoe polish body and a modded nib(replaced the felt with much more durible material). It all comes down to the writter. A mop is a mop is a mop.
