if u put ink and paint in the same marker it gives a cool effect. the ink kinda seperates from the paint and outlines the tag, kinda steaky without a mixer though.

On topic about the "two color marker" it does work. but i wont recomend it. unless your in favor of REALY drippy tags with SUPER clean lines or paint, go for it. Although, if you want to just throw a tag and leave..just use one type. :D if you like your shoes stay away from mixing....ghetto krink and homemade ink dont mix :D.. junobo and krink?

They are pretty fresh. They probably could bust open if they are in a tight pocket or something. The plastic bottles are pretty thin. They are pricey but fun as hell to write with. Got a few of the steel tip ones too. The nibs are pretty tough if you aren't writing on really rough surfaces like concrete and stuff. Stick to windows, power boxes and such. They do buff kind of easy.

best markers for refills are 2 way glue and pentel chalk markers emptied and refilled they are basically the same as molotow barrels and nibs.you can get them at michaels and the2 ways you can find there too usually either there or a place near me called joanns fabrics has them if not try hobby lobbys.

bit of magic ;)..
The felt is from a blackboard eraser thingy...
It drips nice, the felt is still super after heavy usage...
to make it short...
This is my best homemade marker so far...

I've bought a Soultip marker and filled it with Grog chrome ink.

Brand new, but it hardly flows. I press down on the nib and squeeze the bottle and it'll flow enough for a letter before drying and giving me little ink, enought for faint letters or hardly a letter at all.

Anyone know why this is? What can I do to get it to flow properly?

Ye I got the big Hard-To-Buff and its sweet. I aint to botherd about it being buffed. Cos here in the UK, the street cleaners can buff anything so as long as it can stay there for ages and not fade then its all good.

i just made a new marker from a bingo dabber, i know its not original but its the first one i made that came out well, i took out the flow resistor but unluckily i tried it when it still had the resistor in and the resistor was made of rubber so it really weakened the fabric it came with and now theirs a hole so you cant really control the mad drips, its still hella drippy though

What's the difference between an ink mop and a paint mop?

^no difference but whats inside. usually ink is alcohol based or water based, and contains few pigemtns, but mroe dyes. Paint is usually oil or water based, mostly pigments, and comes in any color you want, as inks are hard to get any bright color.

try pushing the top of it to the side, i think their's a seal on it because its basically the same as my uni paint, it it works you should hear a cracking noise, like a singular loud crack

now the nib is completely worn off

is it the grog or did i just use it a lot?

by any chance were you tagging concrete walls?

and the chemicals in grog both black and silver are known to melt/dry/etc. fabrics or plastic. or you probably left the regulator in the nib, and its now fucked.

racked 2 martha stewarts and a stazon clear

washed out the marthas and filled one with grog

just notice the was a drop of water on the end and its line is watery now.


how do i get rid of this water without sacrificing nib?

well everyone knows the nyc mop bodies are made from Arrid XX roll on deoderant bodies with the ball popped out.

look for "kiwi shoe polish" the black leather dye one

it has a sponge on the top

use that

Fuck the kiwi shoe polish! I used that and the sponge head came off in less than 10 tags! I wan't even tagging concrete just plastic and metal. horrible in my opinion. I ended up using my homade mop that night. I cut off the bottom of a water proof match holder, gorrila glued in some foam and filled it with my ghetto krink on the threaded side. works just fine for me.

i personally like the OT mops. *krink mops* exept for the fact that xylene and/or alcohol weaken the plastic and make the nibs explode off when u squeeze.

I thought it was just the xylene that ate away at the plastic, I didn't think alchohol did. Aren't the krink mops paint based I thought you only used alcohol with ink and paint thinner/xylene with paint based.

^theoretically anything can have any base, but yes, usually paint is paint thinner, xylene, toulene, turpentine, or linseed oil based. and ink is usually isopropanol or ethanol based(alcohol)

A few envelope moistener's i saw at staples and racked. The sponge nib is pretty weak, but i think it will be good for smooth surfaces, and they have soft body's. Im going to put some of my homemade into one and try it out.

under the nib, is a small hole. so if you're going to fill it with something, best bet is to go with ink. and this leaks ways too much from the NIB and BODY and the lock that secures it. you're better off with a bingo dabber than that.

Yeah man im just going to fill it with some homemade ink, and rap the shit up tight with duct tape. Ill do some tags with it then trash it- then just fill and tape up a new one, because they are small and easy for me to get.
