yeah uh, What would the best marker be to put etch cream in and what kind of gloves should I be using to handle etch cream? I was thinking thick carpenter gloves like the ones you use to handle dry ice. Also, what do you mix the etch cream with? ink? paint? Some one get back at me!

Well if you wanna be really careful, (like I would) I would recommend putting on normal rubber gloves and on top some carpenter gloves.
I remember reading that it mixes with silver rusto, but then someone was talking about how he did that and he ended up at the hospital.
So really I would recommend you leave it as is.
And yeah, pump markers would work well, but just thin it down with some vinegar if you're gonna be putting it on your empty Montana marker.

yo for a nice etch, mix 1 part etch cream and like 3-4 parts etch bath and put it in a mop like the **** slims or stampendous. beauty tags and a dope white look to it.
just add enough etch bath till it seems the right consistency to flow thru whatever marker you're using...

if its a prisma, dont bother. it'll just smudge it. but works good is if you just do somewhat of a flare starting from the darker color, just press up against the paper and flick it towards the lighter color.

OGawd knows bout the coldsweat.
The burner blue fades in 3 weeks if it's hit by sun constantly, but it writes smooth as hell, and has a nice blue color to it. Both have a t-nib so if you don't like that I wouldn't recommend them, I personally like the calligraphy type lines.

well it all depends do you want your purple to be darker if so leave the black, if not clean it out with some acetone, but your gonna have to put a new nib on there or else it will just come out dark purple.

Fill it with a decent quantity of paint thinner, put on nib, shake it up, empty out it should be the colour of your mop, now to clean the nib add thinner and get the thinner flowing through your nib and it should be cleaning it.

depending on how much black thier is it might. but then again black usually is just plain out deep dark purple so i doubt it make a difference. id only clean out mops if ur using liquids of different bases. or i dont plan to use the mop i clean the nib so it dont dry out.

Grog, all be it an amazing base for ink recipes, is not entirely all that great in itself.. It is very horrible on metals and porous walls such as bathroom stalls.
If you want a staining capability without the spread, mix it with some DED inside job and a bit of Pilot SC6600 refill.
The ratio to this mix is, Half bottle Grog to whole bottle DED inside job and 90 ML of SC6600 Refill.

liek if you wanna blend one color to white (the paper), just have the blender ready uncapped, make your mark, and kinda liek fray it out or whatever so its as good as you can get it without teh blender, then use the blender and just liek go over the spot you want blended. OR if your blending two colors, blend them as best you can with the markers, then rub the blender all over teh blended area, to make it transition better.

Well yeah obviously, you'd have to replace the nib of course, cause the paint and ink would make a horrid mix. I mean you really won't be able to make paint thin enough to flow through a marker, and when you do it would probably end up streaky as fuck.

A mop... I would say get the liquid yougourt things, drink it up and make a nib and use a kiwi mop lid to cover it up.
Either that or just put it in a marker, Grog always flows through markers.

I tried making one out of this 3m (if i remember correctly... maybe scotch? whatever) glue pen and it turned out to be waaaaaaay to drippy. maybe if i used it with some thicker paint it'd be cool. but with ink it was worthless. I think the glue pen I used wasn't the best choice though. There are some that work.

Didn't mean to set off such beef. But i solved my silver grog mop problem. I racked a window paint marker from hobby lobby. The package didn't show what kind of tip it had on it, but I was hoping it'd be a mop. Sure enough, it was. Filled that shit up and it works great. A little tricky to squeeze it enough to avoid streaks but not enough for it to flood out, but I'll get a hang of it soon. Thanks for y'alls help.

Also, I'm all about that eyedropper shit. I have a tiny little gluestick marker that I carry around for that shit. I was skeptical when I made it but it works like a charm.

All I did was take a small glue stick (skinny, about 4 inches long), take out the glue, sealed the bottom with hot glue, filled with ink, and stuck in a nib made from a cut chalkboard eraser.

Maybe you are tying to point out something that I am missing, but I don't see how it is worthless seeing as how it wrote just fine.

I COVERED a 500$ point zero jacket with chrome spray accidently 1 night painting along a ledge i had to stand on. all i did was take the jacket, pour 91% isopropel all over the paint marker (the only thinner I had wich is priobably a good thing cuz acetone would probably have left a fuckin whole in the jacket) and scrubbed that mofo with a tooth brush it took about an hour but i got almost all the paint off.
