I remember racking a small nib, chisel tip, two way glue pen and cleaning it out in the store I racked it from, and then walking down the street and racking pilot SC6600 refill in and then hitting up the next gas station bathroom over to break in the nib.

I also remeber when I would write with my buddy and we'd paint until sunrise... Those were the days to remember.

How to make your own krink k-60 marker.
Get a bottle of optical fluid for contact lenses.

Empty it out and wash with hot water.
Now get some felt and roll it up and tape the back with any kind of tape.
Now get a screw or bb and put it into the mop.
Fill it with your favorite ink or paint and you’re ready to go.

got home, tried em out and the suck. and they smell like shit.
you cant even do a silver fill then go and outline with the black, cause the silver just covers the black up. uni paints are so much better

If I think we are on the same page, an easy way to prevent this from happening is to shake it, hold it tip up, and depress the nib, releasing the built up air that results from the bubbles inside when being shook..

or just dont shake it hella hard. The reason why the paint or ink ends up in the cap is because it leaks through the valve and spills all over. Dont keep the nib pointing down or dont shake it hella hard or else all the paint will end up going into the cap.

With chrome, if stored tip up, you will see that the color pigments, especially thin in this case, will then sink to the bottom of the nib, and leave all of the oils and solvents in the mixture and have a clear writing marker. Not the desired writing ....

I suggest storing the marker on it's side. And no, do not shake it like it is a baby you don't want to take care of, just give it a gentle jerk a few times like it's your junk.

i made some ink from acetone and broken up pens (60 pens and 2/3's cup of acetone)
its really good but the mop i put it in turned into a bag (the acetone made the pastic really weak, but i was expecting it) but now i have no clue what to put it into, i dont really wanna put it in a marker so im wondering what kinda mop i could put it in (i only rack my supplies so 0ink or something wont be applicable) but if you know of a good marker ill take any info, im also wondering if i should even bother adding dot3 or anything else, thanks

haha its safe, you can just add it to your solvent before you add pens or whatever. like dissolve it in alcohol, then use the alcohol with benzo as the solvent.
and yea dude those tic tacs are ill, i used the back of a chalkboard eraser, like the hard felt part, and then for the cap its another tic tac container, but cut in half and like taped up

with my ghetto nyc mops usually the pressure of the nib inside the plastic will hold it in place, but hot glue works well and doesnt have chemicals that will eat up the nib

I used that to refill
I taped the piece of sock and put it in then super glued the tape to the pen
put a small piece of rubber (from a rubber glove) over the hole and taped it hella

Michaels or AC Moore has something like that, but smaller. they make them for spreading rubber stamp cleaning solution on stamps. just empty it out and fill it with ink or paint. they are about $3.99 if you buy.

I'm making some ball point pen ink right now. I cut up 40 pen's and they're soaking in alcohol right now and will be ready tomorrow. What do you guys usually put this ink in? Will it flow right through one of those zig posterman markers, because I have plenty of those. Can I just empty one out, clean it, and throw this ink in there or do I have to modify anything on it to get it to flow right?

Also, where the fuck do you guys get your leather dye from? I checked eckerds, target, and michael's art store and none of them had it. If I can't find any tommarow, i'll probably just throw some woodstain and dot3 on there and be done with it.

They're pretty nice
Can't squeez em though, made out of hard plastic
The nibs are just a bit smaller than **** Mini Mop Nibs
Writes fine and is really skinny
Holds about um, 3/4-1 ounce
I'd recommend them, nib is woven fiber, just like the mini mop nibs
I had one filled with Garvey and **** and some how it leaked all over the place in my pants, but that was kind of my fault, the nib was all the way in but yeah.

Go to any craft store and get a few of those square sheets of felt....(make sure its the thicker kind) those are perfect. Get a arrid xx roll on deoderant pop the ball out and take off the seperate peice that holds the ball. clean it and fill with paint/ink. cut a peice of felt(ur gunna have to figure out how big) roll it like a blunt and fold it in half stick it in the bottle. you now have a NYC mop and it didnt cost you a ridiculous ammount of money

med bottles work alrite but its hard to get it to flow rite..either tooo drippy or too streaky...plus they dont seal properly and leak and there little so just a few tags with them...

Thank you for that website, Werse. Using their shipping and ordering center, I found solidpaint sticks and ballpoint paint markers here within 20 miles from my house. The paint sticks are a buck a piece and the Ballpoints are 3 bucks a piece. Sweet stuff!

Just got my 3 freebies :) one of em wasnt what i was expecting. but the paint stick i got is the shit. Its a markal but its longer than normal and comes in a plastic case that you twist the end and it gets longer. its tight.

And lookin in their catalog i saw that they made markals that are made to bleed through either water or solvent/oil based paints.... bleed through streaks.... who knew.

You can usually see streaks when they are painted over anyway cause it actually rises off the surface your writing on, not like ink or paint which is just flat on the surface. You can't see the color after there painted over though, so maybe with the ones your talking about the color bleeds through too.

try the krylon brand but spray it in coats.like 3-4 coats but,when spraying spray about 8-12 inches away about an hour in between so it will gradually seal it...ive done a few decks for m lil brothers skate team and this way seems to work good for me.

I usually take out my regulators, but sometimes it depends on the marker.

for taggin use a stampendous mop filled with aluminum rusto paint mixed with sum paint thinner... or just a pilot. best markers ever.
