face painters face paint markers are so perfect for mops, they are aprox the diameter of a "smelly marker" and write about the same length the only problem is the amount of paint/ ink they hold. lately i have been rocking montana 30mm stubbies filled with nero and a flowpen with nero and 20 or 30 racked modded out michaels woodcrafts but honestly if you buy a flowpen and a large bottle of ink of ebay your set for a long time

steal a chalk board eraser, rip off a strip of felt. cut it the right size to fit your marker, but make sure its big so it doesnt fall into your ink/paint

well yesterday i decided to get off my lazy ass cuz i needed some drips, got a felt eraser, made some krink, now im ready to go, i made about 5 clean chapstick markers that dont even look like they've been moded, just used some super glue to glue around the twisty thing at the bottom, then dropped a few drops in to cover up the holes at the bottom. my girl was a little pissed off cuz they were hers and i left one in her purse and she tried to use it and was like " What the fuck!". but i just found a xlarge box of tic tacs in her purse and couldnt find the tutorial on how to makem out of one of those, is it just the same as chapstick ? fill it with ink and jam some felt in there or what ?

yoo kotton candy or whatever your name is, refilling a decco i the easiest fukin thing ever. unscrew the cap, i forget which way u unscrew it, try both ways, then refill that shit, but be careful wut u refill it with, ink dont mix well with paint, u might have to clean it out...

u can refill it, but u need to change the nib, u cant use a pilot tip, make a home made one...

Sup i hifghly recomend buying a zig glue stick and putting on a water bottle cap on the bottom and then epoxy it or sumtn and u have a sweet flow pen that pumps easily for drippy stuff that cost u bout 3 bucks unless u wanna rack it. Can Be urchased at target.

Changing the subject but how does the roll on deoderant ball work. Do i need to put sumtin on it or use thik paint cuz it doesnt rite or roll too well. the best mop ive ever made was:

took a hand sanitizer bottle or something that size, emptied it out and put:
Alcohol, Paint thinner and about 10 different kinds of perminent craft paint. Put all that in it, then i made this nib from this ancient 1980s chalfboard eraser that was alll fluffy....it works like a charm and it dosnt leak. fat lines too. Best part os, if ur caugfht with it u pull it outta your pocket and it says HANDSANITIZER hahaha...

take a bottle (the ribbed gatorade bottles or poland springs bottles work nicley) fill it with the paint and strtch cloth over the top. Use a rubber band to hold it on. The more you squeeze the more drip you get

i have made chapstick markers before but i was a huge ass toy then and i thought you were supposed to dip them in ink and write because i didnt think ink would run through the chalkboard eraser thing but even though im still a toy but how big are the nibs on your guyses mine is like 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide and the actual container is about 2 inches with the cap on so oh well this is probably a useless post&#33;

I have this white kiwi mop and i put some shit ink in it and it dosnt come out opaque at all. WOuld you suggest getting good ink offline and mixing it or just using it alone. i want some mad drips i mean MAD drips like fucking rediculous drips.

when my mini otr "high permanent" < yeah right, ran out of paint, i just got some rusto aluminum paint, 7-9 micron alluminum shavings if u can findem, and some fish oil into the mix, i quit buying full otr&#39;s, buy some empty Bombing Aerosol art markers and throw your shit in them, its cheaper. :D

im pretty sure decos are the same as the other cheap paint markers at hobby lobby, just take the cap off, unscrew the nib section, and you will see a plastic top with a hole in the middle, you can shake it upside down and it will loosin the peice up, refill, pop back on, screw it back up, and there ya go.

rusto aluminum paint is more of a milk consistency, and the deco marker nibs are like micron 11-? somethin, the way i find out with markers i&#39;ve never tried is just throw some rusto into a glass jar or whatever your mixing the product in, and get a dropper and add drops of paint thinner and test it in the deco til it meets the critteria of the consistency your looking for, be careful though, to much pant thinner will make it look like water mixed with paint and apply unevenly and wont dry very well.

anywhere else you would purchase paint, me personally got it at wal-mart, but lowes, home depot, michaels, kmart, will all have it, anywhere u get bucket paint, u can get rusto, same design as the spray paint label, just on a bucket or small tin

i wasnt pleased with the yellow mini paint pump marker at all, it wasnt opaque and sucked, my black flowpen is another story though, i reccomend the flowpens instead of the paint markers.

i dunno what to tell you, maybe you tried to jam it in there to tight ? because i can get drips out of unthinned purple rusto paint lol, leave a little hangin out, and drip some paint on the felt, get it soaked up, then try it. Or if your using super glue or tape, you might either be putting to much glue in, or taping the felt to tight. for that chapstick marker, those things leak out the ass from the bottom, so get some super glue, glue the twisty thing on the outside, put 3 drops in from the hole, then put the felt in there, glue it on the sides after u fill it up, and when u fill it up from here on in, put a dropper through the felt and fill it up that way if u want to use it regularly. glue tube markers are the same way, minus the glue drops on the bottom. :unsure:

dont use super glue.. the glues gonna soak into the material and jus harden it

tagstar, pilot ink is realllll opaque and shiny looking but its not to permanent, it buffs kinda easy but if no one touches it it will stay on for a realllll long time

got them from italy, there good, ive used them for stikers and canvas
but when the paint runs out there no good :(

honestly there no real need for mops. yeah their fun and all but all you have todo is get a marker of your choice..put the ink in it and go tag shit... whether its scrubbed off or painted over your shit is probably gonna get buffed eventually anyway. but meh thats just what i think

the point of mops isnt for them to be more permanant...most people use them for either a wide nib, more clean lines, real drips, to have it more concealed, thinner lines, and other reasons

the only thing the mop itself does for permanancy is puts a thicker coat of ink/paint on the surface, which can make it harder to buff/paint over and definenetly helps the ink to not fade..

these are only my homemade&#39;s (from left to right)
1. kiwi mop, it has nothing in it though, i wanna put ink in it
2. a mouth wash bottle with a felt tip, not from an eraser but a rolled up piece of felt. the cap is the regular cap from a bottle of garvey ink
3. a window painter with stock sponge/nib, with krink in it, and 2 little metal balls from a little zig
4. a window painter with stock sponge/nib, with krink and a little bit of flat black, it&#39;s a little thicker and looks charcoal color
5. zig wood color marker with stock nib, filled with purple garvey and some black leather dye to make it darker purple, still hot
6. the uhu glue pen that i was explaining up there^^
7. kiwi mop filled with krink

i think that genuine real un-changed kiwi mops are the best for paint--holds a decent amount and without the nozzle inside it drips good with good lines..

i think that zig wood color markers or any type of zig&#39;s are good for ink, mainly cause the nib is pretty durable, it hold a good amount for ink, and makes good thick lines

yo has any1 heard of those streakers where u take 2 differnt colors freez them cut both of them in half and glue/tape them back 2gether with the top of 1 color and the bottom of the other color and then let them unfreez. So they will write with like 2 colors in? some kids were talking about them but i never seen 1 and i was wondering if they would work.

yeah they work...but its really you cut them in half,stick the halfs both together,freeze,then un-freeze.....ive done it before....shit get real messy but works real good....herez an example of my streaker.....(sorry for the image being real big and quality low)itz a green and blue one

i got a good idea for one, but i havent tried it yet, take one of dose water filled things for stamps and envelopes, open it up, put a marble in for mixing, put about 3/4 paint and 1/4 paint thinner, put the cap back on, shake it up, turn it upside down till it starts to drip, then use. like i said i havent tried it yet, so reply if you tried it and tell me if it worked good or not.

Well I haven&#39;t tried it, but I think its a bad idea cuz those stamp bottle thingys usually have small soft nibs, so the ink would prolly just go right through it.

i made one the other day but havent filled it yet. i saw a thing where it said to keep the soft plastic top on the container, shave of the edges and stick another tick tack container over it or something like that, but i just took out the top and put in an eraser nib (the tape on the container is to keep the cap tighter to it)

the masking tape isnt to seal the nibe with the container but to seal the cap and the container. but ill take ur advice since you have more experience than me.
