Oh I know but I've noticed that some markers will actually fade well before the sticker even begins to peel. Poster paint is water soluble so it isn't that great, I prefer industrial permanent markers myself.

Nice, yeah, I find with poster paint its not great for rain/snow resilience but it stands up to the sun better, and permie ink usually can vary but colours often fade due to sunlight and shit, especially reds and violets.

If you use paint markers on paper stickers they soak all the way through. So when some one tries to peel off a pice and decides it is a pain in the ass. Your tag shows all the way through the sticker and to the adhesive. Also a clear finish help make them last months and months longer helps resist fading and makes them harder to peel off.
