i would suggest putting stickers on the backs of signs though, not on the fronts.
if you cover the front too much they'll change the sign pretty quick, especially if you cover the entire speed limit number.
If you WANT them to do that, then don't waste stickers, just use a bucket of paint instead.


Indeed. I thought about that. But thats when the issue comes in of, would you rather have more people see it, but it comes down sooner. Or have it where it'll last a hell of alot longer, but maybe a 1/3 of the people will see it. Then again here in the Arizona sun and rain the paper based slaps never last very long compared to vinyl. Thats why I want to make the switch to vinyl here soon.

you get the approx. twelve 228's home that you had enough courage to steal, hopefully the cops don't show up at your door.
Then its time to start the artwork! But what you do? Oh dear... you have no idea.
So you stare at the address label, and stare, and look on the internet at all the cool stickers, and look back at the label.
Then you notice the "To:, From:" on the sticker and come up with the idea that in order to be different than everyone else and to become a famous cool sticker artist you are going to write compliments on the labels.
You decide to actually use the To:,From: as part of your name.
You use red and blue decos because they match the shit already printed on the 228 that you have no idea how to get rid of or incorporate into the design.

Your idea is fucking stupid. Your drawings are lame as hell and look like a 6 year old did them. You have no sense of style, no artistic skill, and no idea what you're doing.

yea i made a stencil of the dude, and that works, but im lowwww on paint
and i ordered a fuckload of slaps from dhl and i just use them as paper to sketch, so i keep the good ones as stickers and trash the rest haha

the neon labels i got are a thick stock paper with permanent adhesive on a multi-split back
I took them from the paper mill i work at, which uses them to identify rolls pulled from the batch to be tested for quality, or printability.
I won't be able to get these often, to avoid suspision, so I'm not interested in trading any of them.
I will, however, be including stickers made with these labels in my future packs.


@Germz Yo: A spiral bound could be good, but a hard cover sketchbook from an art store would be best for protecting the artwork inside. The spiral bound you have sucks because the pages are perforated. You're going to have pages falling out after a while just from general wear from flipping through the pages.

sorry about the random shit stuck to the combo, what i do is a make a dummy "lost dog" or "yard sale" sign then put that on the combo, put it up and it just looks like a you trying to find a dog, or promote and shitsail, come back later rip the paper off therefore expozing the combo get the flick, perfect for those high traffic spots

oh yea, sorry i didn't explain it better, i forget that some people have never use the "1 peel" method

ok..

i have these 8.5 by 11 sheets of sticker backing, and what you do is, peel the stickers you want in the combo off, and stick them (sides touching) on the backing, so bacilly you peel the combo off as 1 big sticker and put it up that way

and as for the lost dog technique, all i am doing is disguising the fact that i am putting up a combo and making it look like am putting up a lost dog sign, walk to the end of the block or something, come back, rip the dog sign off, and get your flick, bacilly just good for sketchy or high traffic spots, oh, and hold the sign to the combo with some tape or something

you don't have to use those you can stick a bunch of usps label backings together to get the same effect, skateboard griptape backing works also, make them as big as you want! not too big though if you make it too big it gets hard to carry around

I used to tag the frong of all my stickers , but then got sick of it because sometimes it interfeared with the design. So now I just tag, rep, and date the backs of all my stickers so at least people who put them up know who its from and can list my name if they post on flickr. I've been cooking up a few little things, including some shirts that are going out in a month or so.
