Theres new regulars in here, and a few of them are good sticker artists and traders. We do work. We produce stickers that get placed ON THE STREET and will stay on the street because they're not prismacolors on 228's and DHL's. We draw, print, and plot everything across the board. We trade and get each other up. Large combos with other cats that hustle and know whats up.

When I look at your work I see art that happens to have an adhesive backing. Yes its good art.
But I've never see you up or in combos.

Stickers consume my free time, and even a lot of my work time. I sit and hand draw stickers day after day. I produce hundreds of stickers, then I GO OUT AND PUT THEM UP and SHIP THEM OUT. Yesterday i shipped 22 packs containing 30 or more stickers each. They were filled with mainly hand-drawns, but also some hand cut, and some printed vinyl because I understand the benefits of vinyl. The printed vinyl i use just to suppliment my packs so its not 30 pieces of the same design. I flat said I simply put a font on a sticker. I don't claim to have designed the letters.

The main thing is, there are new regulars in here and just because you don't like them, doesn't make them toy.
Get the fuck out or start posting pictures and contributing instead of bitching.
It's the only way to get the thread on track.

Borg, I actually agree with you on a lot of those names. Some I would contest due to the fact they are heavy into trading and do lots of combos (oars, and propertea - who has a known character) but all the others are either just starting out and have potential, or are not that serious about it.
I'm glad you don't see me as a toy. Yes I know my actual graf skills are crap, I don't do many pieces, throws, or handstyles, and I suck so that's why I focused on sticker characters and sheer production of hand drawns.

Thanks for sticking up for me vagrant. I've been getting positive feedback from both the graffiti community and normal people in the city I live in, so I'm not getting bent out of shape by being included in that list or not having fans in the internet sticker community. Stickers are just a tool that different people use differently.

People should still listen to what borg said. There ARE a lot of toys in this thread and really everywhere where pictures of stickers are posted, people are too nice sometimes.

i believe its hard to decide who's toy and who's not when it comes to stickers, i prefer handrawn stickers. everyone can print his stickers, you dont need any talent for that
the outcome can be nicer but that doesnt make you better

The difference between toy and non-toy should be obvious, its just hard to tell here because this thread lacks non-toys.
In order not to be a toy you need quality and quantity.
Good work (hand drawn, painted, stenciled, plotted, designed, etc) needs to be apparent.
But quality can be offset by quantity, to a certain point.
You may have mediocre artwork, but have lots of trades. But there comes a point where no matter how much trading you do, you stuff is still shit.

So, if you only make 10 crappy tag on 228 stickers at a time and make one trade a week.
You are a toy.

Sticker art is not only about art (quality) its also abo ups and takeover of the urban environment, like graffiti (quantity)
You're not going to get any respect making 10 stickers at a time and only making one trade a week. You'll have practivally no ups and therefor no recognition.
No recognition = no respect

And that, kids, is the most important thing that non-toys have.
Recognition and Respect.

not only does inkjet ink not stand up to light or water, the printer sucks and you get horizontal stripes through the printing (look and you'll see)

I went to some cheap shop and i saw those stickers who are made for walls, to put on in kids room. They come in different patterns and they stick really good, and they are cheap. Green one have some sort of fabric.

I guess giving you a page in Slapheads wasn't enough? I'll put you up in a combo. The only reason I do with these is because they're the easiest to carry, I love Biafra, and I want to get myself up? Vagrant sent me those with a pack of biafra slaps too.

I'll take some of yours with next time I go out and put you up.
Personally, I like to put myself up rather than other people doing it for me.
Do not take me for some highschool kid who puts everyone's stickers on his school notebooks.
