the molotow's are fuckin terrible ... you have to shake them for like 3 minutes before you use them everytime and they are loud.... my buddy got the mettalic trio and they fucking suck.. next time i suggest you get something worth buying like a flowpen or a montana xxl marker ..

if you buy the montana dont pump it when u get it, empty it and fill it with nero, krink or marsh.. then pump it and use it.. after you put the ink in, it's basically like a big flowpen.. read the "step by step" topic there's a tutoriol by oblong in there about the mini montana xl..

Man, i've got to get some otr mini's, in some of the metallic colors, they look pretty sick, I might also think about getting some Montana mini markers as well for easier acsess instead of the large ones. They might run out quicker but oh well.

all otr minis r the same just different ink, thus they run out the same...i suggest you get an otr mini, put the ink into another 1 of ur markers thts runnin low, n just fill it up with your own ink...easier to conceal than the other markers, and wil last u forever..u just gotta restock on ink and nibs every now and then

To my knowledge I think the drips are alright however there not as prominent as the drips for like a black flowpen or a blue one cuase the molotow ink&#39;s way thicker, but it does&#39;nt really bother me becuase I don&#39;t do drips with my molotow anyway, I just sit back and enjoy the metalic colors man.

your flooding the pump system if its collecting in that cap. and also to get drips witha flowpen you pump it before you write, not as you write
so before youre gonna hit something up push the nib in a few times and dont push it in when its against the wall

when you test paint you spray it on a part of a wall, the ground, a pole, anything... not on the cap or your finger...

its the same deal with flowpens, pump it on anything. i usually just put it to the ground and pump the nib a few times really quickly on the ground and then tag...

i had my mini .160 apple green marker for about a month and it was good. it wrote good except for a couple of times it wouldnt give a full solid color you could see through to the wall.

^thats cause the nib wasent "Wet" enough. if youre getting partial lines or lines that arent very opaque just give it a few pumps and you should be fine

i must say though, even with thorough shaking and mucho pumping i&#39;ve had nothing but bad experiences with aerosol art bombing markers. i&#39;ve used both the orange and baby blue, and had them work a few times, and every other time they&#39;ve sucked big time.

something just isn&#39;t right about that paint they use.. it solidifies when it comes in contact with even a bit of water or moisture, so i&#39;m thinking just general use of the marker caused the nib to dry up, and i also noticed that the valve system was clogged with solidified paint, and even some of the paint in the barrel was solidified.

needless to say, i got pissed off and dumped out the shitty aerosol art paint and filled with supercolor ink and strapped on a new nib and things have been dandy.

i should also mention i haven&#39;t had these problems with OTR paint markers, or any other paint marker using the same style valve marker (ie. Poscas)... just aerosol art. the only time any other marker has even slightly given me a bad result was the silver and gold OTR molotow burners, but i find i just need to shake them more, and pump more, than i normally would with an OTR... aside from that they&#39;re fine. (and the other OTR paint markers, and even the copper molotow work fine without lots of shaking or pumping).

i recommend black pilot supercolor ink... you can get it local. its jet black, looks good, and it&#39;s quite permanent, and will last the weather.

garvey fades way too fast outdoors.

marsh black t-grade dye type is nice, but i find in flowpens it kinda chunks up after a bit and won&#39;t go through the nib as good.

OTR H2B kinda has a bad rep... people say it isn&#39;t really that permanent but from my experience it works quite nice... but personally I&#39;m a black pilot supercolor ink kinda person...

you can just get an otr at a painting mart , a place that sells supplies for art and such, just walk in a art store and check it out. they most likely have paint pens.

pretty much exactly the same as OTRs but don&#39;t have clear plastic casing... same size tub, same valve system, same nib, etc.

i &#39;acquired&#39; a black uniposca, and before ever using it i unscrewed the top, dumped out the waterbased black paint, washed it out, filled with black pilot supercolor ink, and well... it&#39;s just like have a black flowpen except with better ink.

metallic blue is my favorite of the metallic OTR products... flows good, is pretty opaque, drips a bit if you want it to, and seems to show up on every surface... kinda looks like a darkish blue on light surfaces and kinda looks like a babyish blue on dark surfaces, it truly is amazing. sometimes, it even kinda changes from a lighter blue to a darker blue depending on the direction of the strokes made with it... it&#39;s REALLY fucking trippy. not to mention is sparkles a lot which is even trippier. haha, this marker is like psycahdelic.

and yeah, silver pilot super color ink rocks the metallic world.

but ive used my montana lite blue XL on a orange door and it looked like the crummiest blue in the world. but when i put it on white it was good? will i get that same stuff with my otr&#39;s?

no, metallic blue looks good on everything. i&#39;ve even written on blue surfaces, and i dont know what it is about this ink but it always seems to find a way to contrast what you write on... it looks light colored on dark surfaces (opaque), so its good. it looks dark on light surfaces... it looks bright on dull surfaces, and dull on bright surfaces... it seems to always stand out no matter what i&#39;m writing on... i really like it.

otr mini&#092;jumbo h2b: so called "permenant ink" isnt so permanant and it uses its on pump system.

otr mini&#092;jumbo flowpen:Has a different pump,more runnier ink and bigger nib so it takes more ink leading to drips.

otr mini&#092;jumbo molotow:Uses the nib of the h2b and the pump of the flowpen. it also has mixing balls.

otr mini&#092;jumbo paint pen&#39;s:refer to molotow.

otr tagstars:people give this a bad rap but i guess its cause they dont have 1. its a rather good pen only problem is u have to clean the cap sometimes because ink gets onto the sides wen trying to put cap back on.

otr scrawl pen: this is exactly like a solid&#092;meanstreak&#092;markel just bigger. personnaly i would prefer to the sakura solids.

To answer ur question yes grog can be buffed, but itll leave a mark. If they really want to get the tag outta their even faster they just have to paint over it. It dosnt leave a mark or n e thing.

I have been using a liquid chalk marker which is the same as a OTR0.060, well it&#39;s similar, it&#39;s filled with ink that cannot be buffed by QR. I would never buy an OTR when I can rack one just as good and get better ink than H2B.

i all honesty the hype that otr makes about their products just doesn&#39;t show when you use them. i&#39;ll admit the colors are nice but whats the point in investing in something that expensive is it isn&#39;t very durable. their "hard to buff" isn&#39;t very hard to buff at all. their markers are nice to use in blackies though.

no theyre not.otrs have stronger ink than montana markers.montanas are waterbased.otrs are alcohol based,so neither are hard to buff at all.

Its alright for behind stores and shit where it aint gonna get buffed. They tried to buff it at my school and they just gave up. Depends what there using to remove it.

not really bud, it matters, with a wash cloth a magnums tag could get buffed, when you try that with high alcohol based pigments, they sometimes just give up cuz they dont know how to get it off

magnums are pieces of shit, you can get fat lines and thin lines with otr&#39;s montana&#39;s pilot&#39;s etc.

and in your case if you have alot of tags with your little piece of shit magnum, they will get wiped off at a very good rate ;)

My first day with the montana and that shit leaked all in my pocket I didnt notice till the fuking paint was bleeding through the outside of my pants. if you keept tagging the same spot, and they keep wiping it off with a damp paper towel, its going to be you that gives up. Also magnums smell very strongly so it can atttract attnetion

if its too hard to unscrew the top where the cap is, get a adjustabe wrench and put it on the top part thats flat (uncaped)

then when you have that off get an xacto knife/blade and wedge it between that smoked plastic piece and the marker, and slowly twist the blade so it pry&#39;s it up

my freind gave me a half empty metallic blue, its good i like it, shows pretty well on dark and light surffaces, he also gave me a pink flowpen iwch was pretty good, not as drippy as i thought it wud be, both ran out of ink really quick
