Paint Markers

:( man i have a lot of problems..........but besides that this thread will prob. be closing soon, so post your favorite, and custom paint markers..... this is for like moded deco's painters, painty's, paints, paint sticks.... you name it, first of all, i have to say i have a bunch, i will have a picture sooon, but they are all fucked up, is this normal, that my painty's and decos, when their brand new, i barely push down on the nib, and it fuckin explodes, like spills paint everywhere..... and most of them on canvas, on spray paint, wont even write, and i try to press down, and my nib gets stuck then comes all teh way out!!!!!!!!!!!.... does this happen to you... what is going on!!!?....any advice....?

hmm. that never happened to me. I always have to pump mine alot to get the paint to even come into the nib. If you're in a hot area it might just be a bunch of built of air pressure, so you could stic in in the fridge for a while or something. I've never had a problem so I'm just guessing

i had a few montatas and a few uni ball paint markers. but montanas get scratched easily and unis fade.

thanks for the fridge idea, i will try it, its just i mean, some decos, and paintys, like the other day, right after i racked some, i was right next to this dumpster, and i pulled out my deco, and i needed to get some paint in the nib, so i just barely pushed down, for the nib to go up into the pen, and it leaked everywhere...... like half the paint came out!..... sheesh! it sucks..... i didnt shake it though, would that have mattered... and all my paint markers like suck, when im on a canvas that has spray paint as a backround, they wont really come out, it comes out all crapy..... and shit.... then when i barely push, it fuckin poures out.... what do i need to do...?.............im gonna cry!......*sniff*

simple dont use paint markers i prefer too use oil pastels that come in much better and cooler colours and depending on the type of pastel is much harder to buff than paint markers i rubbed off a tag with a paint marker with just a bit of water and my hand! they suck!

^^ thanks for the info, i never really shook them for a long time, i will give that a go, and stick em' in my fridge, see if these tips will work, man they really piss me off, they dont last very long at all, like today when i was doing some canvas work, i pumped and pumped it, shook it, for like 15 minutes and barely anything came out, and i pressed it againts the painted canves, the nib stuck to it, and came right out of the marker!!!!!! it fuckin pisses me off..... i dont get how people like DORK, and THIS paint thes awesome canvases with decos?????????!!!!

i only uses decos for canvas. you have to shaek them alot so the xylene actually mixes with the paint and doesnt seperate in the nib it isnt hard
to figure this out

Yea I use decos on canvas all the time, and I only shake for like 30 seconds. Maybe I'm lucky and you're really unlucky or something. Oil rusto paint makes great refills for decos and painters. The silver doesn't need to be thinned, but I haven't used anything else much.

hmm. all my decos have gold labels around the front part. maybe some dont, in that case, you can skip that step haha. dumb one, paint markers are the easiest things to rack, but i dont support it. In my michaels, theyre all the way in the back and its always empty in that place except for a few cashiers and one cleanup guy.

ahahaha. you think they EVER check those cameras? if you&#39;re really noid about them, at the ends of some aisles, theres places where the cameras can&#39;t see. you just take a whole bunch, go to that end of the aisle, stuff them in, then act like you&#39;re putting them back later. The cameras have such poor resolution they cant even tell you aren&#39;t putting any back.

hah well i got fucked today.... i bought a blackbook, and said i was going back to see if they had some shit, and she was all cool, i went back stuffed a ton of decos in my bag, and headed out, i got out and was cool, until she was all like "excuse me&#33;&#33;" and came after me, she said "whats in your bag??&#33;&#33;&#33;" and i was all like "oh this" " i got this in a store down town" and she was all like "wheres the reciete, ?" and i just said i lost it, and took off.....hehe she couldnt prove me wrong, so she let me go&#33;

do it on one side and carry a bike helmet with u then it looks normal like u were riding your bike though remember this is heaty cause they will be at the bottom of your leg and u will be walking so the metal pens will hit each other and make noise and the balls will rattle and what not and they will know. do what i did one rainy day get a big black unbrella and drop your markers down it while its closed i got 15

damn nice idea..... my techniiqe (i used twice) was buy something dumb, small, or cheap, in a bag.... save the reciept, carry your bag into the store, stash it in that get a way fast... or bring bag from home.. like plastic from walmart of sumthin, but make sure you get a way fast, and have a reciept for something in your bag, i almost got caught, they stopped me, and made me show a reciept, i just said i droped it on the way over.... damn i am still scared....

Do what Tone said to do. but to make it look not look really retarded take a little bit longer pair of jeans and then take ur shoes off and then take the end of the jeans and step in your shoes and smash the jeans inbetween your shoes and heel and then you have what tone was saying a big pocket to take what ever you&#39;d like to... I have done this to take single beers i just droped them all in and took up to 6 beers.. and i have done it with fireworks and i have done it with paint markers.. i cant explain how man paint markers i have to last me... well they are gone now... i tagged my skool up last year.. and sold them to kids... haha it would be a good thing to sell also...

hey man, i gotta tell you soemhting. even know its not dealing with graffiti or markers but it is with stealing lol and u can prolly use it for markers.. the best thing ever. lol my sister and her friends went to best buy in orlando and they just grabbed around 1500 cd&#39;s and ran out the emergincy exit and got in a get away car... and left. they went to my house and we counted around 1500 CD;s maybe someone will try that with paint or soemhitng. haha... she still hasnt got caught and its been 2 years.

who cares go in the store and steal like crazy. dont let anyone see u if they hear it they havent seen anything and if no alarms went off they have nothing on you... thats what i do.. its a hobby on top of graffiti... its fun..

haha i was in a shoe store once and two girls and a guy took off with shopping carts out the door into a car... the lady working their took off after them in high heels&#33;&#33;&#33; haha it was soo funny... but the cops caught em... they barged in their house.... and they were trying on the shoes&#33;&#33;...... any way... if you do try that, the workers cant touch you, they can not harm, or hold you, its against the law, they have to let you go..... or they get fired, and fined... thats what happend at the shoe shop, and its happend to me, when i walked out, she saw makers in my bag, and she couldnt prove me wrong..... so.. just leave, they cant do anyting.....but be fucking careful.........

yeah my friend was a security gaurd for a walmart type store up in NY and some guys just went back went shopping and walked out and put it in there car and left. and the only thing my friend could do is say stop. he couldent touch them to hold them back or anythign and when he was sayin stop the guys were like eyah Eff YOU and walked out but what my friend do is followed them out to the car got the plate number and called the cops and went and arrested the guys.... people are stupid... lol

i had an incedent where me and my 2 friends were riding bikes in walmart having races and shit doin wheelies and stoppies and a guy was like yeah i need back up we have 3 yo.yo&#39;s and one guy is about 8 feet tall... but hes really 6 feet 11 inches tall... but they didnt do shit they jus watched us walk out the doors and ran out on the other side of the high way and got away

hey i got an idea try it your self slap nuts dont get someone else to do it and see f they get busted, i learnt most of my racking techniuqes myself i prob racked a good 1000&#036; worth in one month of everything but over all in the last 3 months i prob racked a good 60 cans and bunch of stickers and markers. but its summer so i canty wear my jacket and jeans so i have to wait for rainy days or cold windy days fucking summer&#33;

just grab a basket and fill it up (so you dont look so suspicious walking around the store with nothing in your hands) then you walk out the door very simple grab two baskets if your up for it most canadian stores and usa stores have a no chase policy i wont say which ones for safety but you can get hundreds to thousands of dollars in one day by that method.(at any place that has baskets or carts) carts are for when you have a vehicle waiting.

not if you people watch, always remember who you see, who comes into the store i&#39;ve done an art store that is all across n. america in florida, spokane, calgary, and if you watch whats going on around you and are more concerned with that then what you are taking you should beable to walk in and out in under fifteen minutes and be on your way with no hassles as long as you are smart and not being a heatbag.(it works in large food stores too). just open your eyes and remember little details of what goes on around you. i&#39;ve never done a cart but baskets are easy, but when you have a cart or basket the store security are less interested in you because they think you are buying something, and will be watching people who have nothing to carry their products in, while you are walking out the front door. but yeah its always good to have accomplices but sometimes its better to do yourself so you don&#39;t bring anyone down with you&#33;

its not as easy as 123 but dont do it at wal mart just take cans of krylon from say...
....micheals and return them there for store credit to get a few extra cans cause thay are cheaper at wal mart then m&#39;s.but try to stay away from the big big stores cause you can&#39;t remember hundreds of people got to a place where you know you can handle the flow of customers , and staff play a big part too, watch them at the tills or see if you see the same employees each time you go in , watch what other people are doing not what you are doing. am i making any sense?
yes i have done the baskets and i find they are ten times easier then lifting cause nobody pays attention to you when you have a basket/cart but if someone sees you putting stuff in your pockets your screwed. this way with the baskets you are less heat bag and you can get alot more in one shot.
and with wally world if people see you putting products in a bag in an isle they will know what you are doing and its a good way to get busted.and


for anyone who says the camaras cant see really good fuck that ,,when i was a casheir at safeway before i walked out with the all cash in the till i got to see and play around with the cams when i was doing my tests and they can zoom in and rotate and watch every move you make they could even read the printing on a hello my name is... sticker from the roof, or see the price on a package of ground beef too, so dont underestimate them just out smart them.

yeah just open the marker up of what colour you want lighter and add some white to it ---little bit at a time so you can get the right adjustment.

Yeah, mush, i was thinking about that, but then that one marker would be permanently changed into that shade.

I think what im gonna use is acrylics, i should be able to fade some shades pretty easily with that.

so go rack acouple of each color then you can have one for regular color, one for lighter or darker shade , etc.etc.

if your talkin about the fined tip ones that have a pen sized tip almost...

they Dont Clogg easy.. just shake em before each use.. Dont press down on the tip for each use.. let out the pressure after shake&#39;n the pen...

i had a bunch of them a year or so back.. the best decos ive ever had.. nice for fine canvas work

funny, when i racked pant markers, i say outloud to a friend "yeah im gunna get this one, this one, this one, this one, and so on, and get 2 of eatch, then walk to the next aisle or w/e then say, holy crap these are expensive or sum stupid shit, put them in your pocket, and put some back but keep some in your pocket, i dno just do what you feel, lol

go buy or rack ( I suggest racking) a paint marker from micheals.
its wood paint but once all of it runs out you can refill really simple.
plus the nib is heavy duty and doesnt wear out fast.
