That CRAP roller is pretty original... i caught a sick wholecar on a BAR flat the other day... couldn't tell who was on it from where i was standing and i didn't get a flick cause my cameras batteries died... it was done "wall style"... like a bunch of pieces stacked up ontop of eachother as opposed to one big piece.

No but reallly, you should ask yourself if it's a lay-up....just cause you see freights in a flick and multiple lines, you have no idea what's around the rest of the picture (feild of veiw).

based on the colour, kind of box, and the doors....I'd say that's an MILW, or a it was a CPAA. Rarest it could have been....it's an old DTI

I spend the majority of my day next to a train lay up which is sweet, except I get the same three trains almmost all the time. However, I didn't have my digi at work today, and a new train pulled up with 10 def pieces in a row on it. and one had a "collosus of roads moniker square next to it.....I know he doesn't right in the sense, but does anyone know if he's down with it? Cause the way it was up it looked like he tried to write next to it. I'll try and take a flick cause the pieces were as fresh as I've seen out here in SD anyways.

I thought it was a fuckin shame. It looked like it woulda been a nice one. I see in my mind, some fat ass fucker trying to chase down the writer, and after 12 feet comes back with a can for the diss. Here they ride quads though. I haven't been chased yet so I'm lucky ( although, I'm the only one here that paints...)
For feight whores, I have the dream job though. I park right in front of the fuckin layup at 3:30 am and walk into work at 6am and stare at my piece till noon or so. Then at lunch I go and hit up with a meanstreak or a quickie. ( I try to avoid the quickies cause I don't wanna fuck up the overall scene, but once in a while.

DTI is an old defunct rail line that became part of GTW and then became part of the CN family. kinda like ICG became part of the CN family. alot of the DTI&#39;s have been repainted blue or brown but still sport the DTI reporting marks, getting hard to find some in the old paint and emblem scheme&#39;s. short for Detroit, Toledo & Irontown.
was lucky to catch and hit a teal blue-green one and see a pink one rolling.

The deal with this image is that it&#39;s a logo from the company which last owned it. The current owner is EEC(east erie commercial). This company is starting from a small fleet, and continues to expand through buying small, older companies which are OUT-OF-BUSINESS. these old companies are called &#39;fallen flags&#39;. I find them superinteresting and thanks to EEC, many boxcars and hoppers are being revived from the old grown over sidings and braught into service on the mainlines.

so when you see anything like that, document it because after a while, they&#39;ll all be painted over by the new owners.

i agree with you for the most part, but not so much on freight trains...when im parked at a light and see a line roll by i like to know whos pieces they are...ichabod is probably the most up writer on the rails and he got it by rockin clean, simple letters people can read.

gun runner, when you see a freight roll by, you don&#39;t always need to be able to read it to know who it is. You can&#39;t mistake mine from anyone else, and you know it is mine. If style is all about the letters then everyone is a biter &#39;cause we&#39;re using the same 26 letters. The only thing that makes them different is the style.

Kinda like seing a The Mac character... you don&#39;t need letters to know who it is.
Or a Goreb landscape. Who else does that&#33;

its an E, the top line of the E is just at a really weird angle compared to how you normally see e&#39;s of that similar style. you can tell better in person.
