I guess it helps with painting in the sense that it teaches you to be more accurate with your lines in the firs part.

the whole point of doin simples is because when u start off if u cant do a letter or 3d u wont be able to come up with ur own wildstyle. If u dont bite it will look like crap because most toys dont know when their stuff is bad they think if it is really busy and noisy it looks good which isnt true. Ive seen writers throw simples that look better then other peoples wildstyles. So i think u should start simple (keyboard letters) then make them lean or the whole word be like wavy. Then work with blockbusters or make ur letters more complex. Once you can do all this u should attack hookups the same way. Start with simple hook ups and stay away from arrows use bits and bumps. Then when u think u have it down do arrows then eventual complete burners but the basic letter structure is most important.

If you do shit on paper with pen, it's going to be permanent (unless you're a faggot and use an ink eraser or some shit) so if you don't erase anything then it's a freestyle... So you can have pencil freestyle's too. Just that's not what this thread is based around

okay just to clear this up im goin to tell u why pen freestyles help u
they dont help ur can CONTROL they help u be able to paint on walls without messing up
if u always draw with a pencil usin bar techniques u cant do letters without erasing
u should be able to do ur tag name at anytime in a pen freestyle
i dont know about everyone here but when i paint i dont go with a sketch and sketch it on the wall
im spontaneous and i go off the top of my head
pen freestyles help u with painting because of this but they dont stop u from getting drips and shit they just help u be able to fix your mistakes and be spontaneous
