It's kind of too bad that street magic has become so popular now, they'll make a show with anyone who can entertain. If you notice, most of the small illusions and all the card tricks Criss angel does, have been done before on other TV specials like David Blain and shit. the only original shit he does are his big illusions like floating and walking up walls n shit. come on people we've all seen star wars, is he really that impressive in comparisson?
The thing about street magic, is it's meant to be done in a way that the audience relates to. Like with just a pack of everyday playing cards, or found objects. Close up, right in front of you. With sleight of hand and simple illusions. Angel destroys this because he's doing stuff no one can relate too, its no wonder people are tricked by it, he spends thousands and thousands of dollars on props and such to make his illusions work. Kind of unfair to just everyday passers by. Like if a hollywood film crew used all their props to trick people on the street, no shit they would be tricked. FUck chris angel, fuck this thread.
