Actually Foe, Led Zeppelin is a band that spent actual time making music. Not two days in some fucks basement playing simple riffs and repetative beats and only one line of bass is not music. Most punk is horrible they cannot play or sing. Except for a few bands. Todays so called music is throw up and if you listen to that fucking shit god help you. Now i don't know what bands you listen too, but all i know is that i listen to ACTUAL MUSIC and not thrown together shit. I started feeling the same way about the hardcore/punk scene here, i've been a part of this scene for 10 years now, and i've seen a lot of people come and go. But basically it was just starting to wear thin on me because of all the "scene kids" who go to shows because its the cool thing to do that week. It got to the point where i basically just stopped going to shows because of all the bullshit drama that was going on, it seems thats its not about fun and friends here anymore and has turned into more of a fashion show. But recently i ended up heading down to Buffalo to see Outbreak and i fell in love with shows again. And mainly how the scene is down there. It made me remember why i loved going to shows in the first place. It was at a small venue and the band was just in your face and the people were just amazing. No bullshit at all. Just a bunch of kids having a good time. And it just brought back so many good memories of shows i used to go to. And it basically has made me try to bring that positive energy that used to be here back to this scene. "youth crew and asshole hardcore is where its at" and this statement i dont necessarily agree with, sure, i fuckin love youth crew hardcore, but fuck that tough guy shit, bands like Terror who bring un-necessary "toughness" is just bullshit. I dont necessarily hate Terror, but there the best example i can think of. Because there "tough" for the sake of being tough. But anyways i'm done ranting now...

Actually...i have heard of all those bands...and i fully agree with you about everything. I hate what hardcore has become but there are still people out there who are in it for the right reasons, and those people are whats keeping hardcore alive....
