switching out KILZ tips

anyone know if you can switch out the tips on KILZ spray paint? it lays down soooo nice but the cap is all weird. i got a can of yellow but its still like half full and i dont want to fuck it up by trying to take the cap off

yea just break off the cap...then steal the caps off of Axe mini cans and its works as a real good fatt...thats what i do just look around on household cleaners and shit for caps that would fit

you can be dumb and pry off the top thing (I did this a while ago) your can put it back, it just looks weird, but the better way is to cut the place where the cap comes off on a normal can, it's attached by two little pieces of plastic, but then it's male, so you can buy some female caps, find good household caps, this tutorial to make male caps female http://www.bombingscience.com/graffitiforum/showthread.php?p=786227#post786227, or just leave it

does anyone know if you can take like ny fats or german outlines and stick them on there. i cant remember the name of these caps i just coped that are tight its and all black fatt looking cap but i know the stem will come out the bottom if you get a hold of it.

I'd say it's better than rusto, and a little cheaper, but you can't switch out the tips, so I'd buy satin american accents, it has awesome colors, rusto paint, and is female so you can use your tips on them

NY Fats don't work. Tried this a couple of weeks ago. I was really surprised by this. It might have something to do with the pressure of the can. KILZ cans feel like they have a LOT more pressure than any other paint I have used.

I just put a fresh Rusto fat on and it works perfectly.

that makes sense, rusto fats r ment to be used with paint that has alot of pressure like rusto, and ny fats dont work on rusto either, they drip like crazy

make the slit on the bottom tube a bit wider, it raises the pressure, thats why orange dots have a fatter slit, skinnies a smaller slit, and grey dots don't even have a slit.

i don't know how to do it with female caps though

kilz is nice paint but has weird like "house" colors and i think their less than 400ml and again with the caps their weird and not very comfortable

It covers very well, and is flat (as opposed to gloss). It's essentially a very good primer that is available in gallons, quarts, and aeresol cans, made for covering up water damage and other stains. If you are trying to totally cover some shit, it is the answer. If you were doing something that required huge coverage, it also rolls quite well.

The spray cans are extremely high pressure. It might be worth it to let some pressure out before rocking. As I said in a previous post, the Rusto fat cap works great on Kilz. I have my doubts about Euro caps working on these cans, but I haven't tried so I cannot say for sure. NY fats do NOT work.

I didn't even know it came in black. That's sweet. Going to have to get some at the Depot this weekend.
