And its SOOO much better than askin what everyone thinks. Make all the letters with holes (OAR), make the holes smaller. Maybe define edges make it sorta more cornery... ya kno.. But the R less "normal" looking

i like your first one, those letters are coming nicely&#33; the only thing that i would think about fixing first, is your letter S, it doesnt flow with the other letters, i think you need to make it a little bit more simple, and make it look like an S, not a 5. make your S curvy, instead of that blockish style. but its lookin nice.
as for your second pic, im feelin the S on that one. the E could use some work, take that arrow out, and take off those little "falling bits." remember that simplicity, and raw normal letters will show you what belongs and what makes a letter. but its lookin good&#33;

1) I put my caps in a glass jar filled with paint thinner and put the lid on. Now they have been in there for about 3 days and none of the paint has came off them. Should I take the lid off or what?

2) I was just wondering what some caps are that have lines about the same size as ny thin or a bit bigger that are like german outlines. Like they aren&#39;t small little caps. Like they have the same shape as like a pink dot. The big circle kind. But has a line thats sorta thin but sorta fat.

for the first question after they soaked i would get a q-tip with paint thinner on it and whipe it off the put on a can and flip upside down and spary for a few seconds and if that dosent work then i have no clue

well, no matter what color can you have, pink dots will induce the color pink on the wall. And if you just think what size line you want it to be, thats the size it will be.

same with grey, blue black and orange. Just think it and it&#39;ll happen&#33; So really you dont even need different colors of paint...

those &#39;comfy&#39; caps ARE german caps... like german outlines, german pink dots, german gold dots, etc. people just dont always add the word german to the front... atleast thats how we refer to them.

to make a german outline fatter, use a razor blade to widdle the slits on the side of the &#39;shaft&#39; (the male part that goes into the can) so that they are a bit bigger. the bigger the slits, the fatter the spray... for a better idea, look at a NY thin and a NY fat, and notice those ridges.

now you can modify your caps to spray whatever size you want...

it&#39;s looking pretty good man, i like it. i do a lot of 3D sketches too where things are clumped together, so i usually make each letter a different color in a repeating pattern (ie. orange, blue, orange, blue, orange), but in your case i like it just the way it is, and i don&#39;t think an alternating color scheme would look good.

yep, but be careful with the hump at the bottom of your C... in that green sketch it kinda makes it look like a lower-case B, but the wider less-defined hump on the C in the b/w sketch still lets your C look like a C.

its all in the wrist for flaires... go close to the wall for thin lines and when i want it to get "fatter" flick your wrist and move away from the wall at the same time...

and for that higlight on the tag.. just spray the highlight color u want on the part u want...

speaking off odd, i had 2 cans of kyrlon shortcuts, one had an german fat (orange) on it and it sprayed fine. i went to put the german fat on the other can, and it wouldn&#39;t fit properly... it sprayed, but a lot also came flying out the edges. so i tried ny fat... no fit. i then tried a stock... and same deal... fucked. i must&#39;ve messed up the valve refilling it or something.

anyone who lives where the weather is cold will know that &#39;beautiful&#39; feeling you get as you feel the paint evaporate off your hand, freezing it.... knowing that the next day the frozen parts will be hard and super sensitive.

^thats happened to me, tried a cap on some can, wouldnt work, then tried the stock and it wouldnt work. it messed up the valve and tweaked the size of it and shit.

Im brand new to graffiti pretty much and I wanna know how to start out. Im a pretty good artist so learning shouldn&#39;t be a problem. Im considering signatures (ink, inc, nine, spin) and Im guessing the next step would be stickers, stencils, and markers? Thanks for the help.

1) welcome... you suck.. let me be the first to say.. and get used to it. because your gonna hear it alot..

2) like i said up there ^... it dont matter if your good at art. its still gonna take years to get a style

3) dont worry about the next step yet.. start sketching. and dont try to go crazy .... do simtple letters first.

Download the movie Style Wars. It&#39;s a wee bit dated but explain a lot about graffiti. You just have to ignore the parts about break dancing. LOL.

To build your balls up start doing stickers. You can start small and slowly get bigger in your stickers. Try wheatpaste paste ups.

You can do big ass paste ups using newsprint paper. Just go down to the local newspaper and ask for spin down rolls of paper. They&#39;ll direct you to the back at the recieving area. Newspaper printers love to give these rolls away because they can only run the paper down so far on the roll because they have to switch the roll to a new roll.

They come on really long rolls, about a yard tall and usually have 200-300 ft long. Buy some cheap acrylic paint and paint away.

Then work yourself up to spraypainting. Do a few quickie throwups, learning to outline and suck. Freight yards make a great place to practice because they&#39;re usually abandoned. Don&#39;t start out with anything complicated. After awhile you&#39;ll be able to do 3D and clouds.

Lastly, search through posts before asking a question. If you ask something thats been asked before expect to be yelled at.

He should probably start sketching and get a style before he goes and does wheatpasting. It depends tho but if he could be wheatpasting up stuff that he drew he should probably get a little bit better.

No doubt there is a difference. I was just giving a suggestion especially since most toys have never done anything wrong in their lives. Some people need to be told to grow hair on their balls.

Stickers are an easy way to build style. You can design anything with photoshop and illustrator and make a sticker.

But I do agree with 211 though, do some sketching for the love of god. Don&#39;t put up total shit because it will get buffed either by other artists or regular people.

but DONT wheat paste unless ITS art and your good... dont turn toys onto street art man thats not cool
