hmm . .what i would advise to "toys" (assumin the fact that im a am not one)
is to start working on the simpliest letters until they know perfectly their structure.
tryin to reproduce this simple font : ABCD... will help anyone to make good graffiti. besides that, dont start your outline at one point tryin to rejoin it randomly... you toyz (=) had better discompose your letters in several parts for them to fit perfectly together. dats what i think..
letterings obey some rules that you gotta learn ... or assimilate.
in a nutshell, START SIMPLE... then evolve. pce

ure not dat screwed as ya think, one of da best things in life i have found for when u totally fuck up a drawing, and u know at one point it was good, is to get sum tracing paper, the really thin stuff, trace out da shit u liked but in sumtin darklike permanant marker, take reg paper put it over that, and trace the marker wit pencil or w/e

And to kid i too think you should lose the arrows and I noticed that u wrote deem 3 times, one being the actual throw and two handstyles, maybe loose one of the handstyles but thats just me. Take my advice as a grain of salt.

I know it's a couple of pages back, but I read from where I always check back from left off..
If you're thinking of a handstyle, i suggest you don't add that aimer thing one your "O", and I'm not really sure about your "A" and "R". You need to let loose on the page a lot more and not go too hard. As a matter of fact, I suggest trying to hold your drawing utencil(sp) from the end farthest from the surface you're writing on to give you a more loose feel. Oh, and try not to form your letters so they curve into one another.

Yeah just keep writing that shit over and over again then you will be able to let your hand make the movements. The more you write the tag the better it will flow. Changing one part of the tag at a time might make the tag look forcfully flowing

when you make the 3d the distance between the 3d line and the letter edge shold be uniform all the way, you messed that up a bit and it makes it look awkward

and a bit of the highlight on the H is off, you should make them all hugging the inside right edges of the letters, on part of the H it's hugging the left

Dr thank you for the help. The good word helps me prove to myself I at least did one thing better then the last. The way I figure it if each sketch gets better then I should be able to be half way decent in awhile depending on the amout of time sketching. Thanks again for the kind words and advice, I understand I messed up the H, at the time I felt the H's shine wasent enough so I added to it not thinking, and the 3-d I know I screwed up. I already did another one, same theme and all and the 3-d is fixed and I'm pretty sure I got the shine right.

the style itself has alot of potential. When I'm doing sketches, when I finish a first outline I look at it until I find some small parts that I could change to make them look better, I erase then try them. Once I got to the point that I'm satisfied I'll add a black outline then color ect.

Try using your thumb when filling in. It will still get sore, so I usually switch back and forth betwheen my index finger and thumb.

start out with throwups before you ever try a piece. and draw it first so that you get the shapes of the letters down, and i mean draw it A LOT... and make sure you keep it simple.

If you don't know about if your finger is going to hurt your probably not that good but you are painting a legal wall with throwups? Hopefully it gets painted alot cause thats wasting space for the good pieces. A throw on a legal wall kind of defeats the purpose of the wall.

you blend ur word with its backing which is not good unless ur really gonna get some clear edges in or go for an abstarct peice.

really if this is serious i recommend sketching a hella lot more fuck the colours for now. Also sit down and figure out a style and what you want to put down on paper and work with it.

You should really lose that arrow connection on your "A" and possibly make your letter the same size or similar unless that's what you were aiming for. I also think you could lose the extra tail branching off your "S" and bring the tail of your "R" out more and do a little more with your "E" by giving it more room to branch out.

Now that i know what it says, you should try practising/developing a handstyle instead of just handwriting. You should lose the arrow on your "M"and have all your letters touch instead of having two connections, then a gap, back to a connection. I suggest tyring to write in all capitals or mix them with some lower-case letters. Nonetheless, keep practising.

Yeah, I would say the same thing basically what wreck did demented. I would also say look around at pictures and stuff and other handstyles. It helps you develope yours and make em flow and look sexy.

Dude, what have you been doing for the last year. you've been on this site for about a year, and thats what you have came up with. START SIMPLE. Cerial Box simple, the poison under your kitchen sink simple, Dont throw some down and then add style when you have a shitty letter structure. It's going to take your a while to progress yourself. Get your letters down first. I'm not trying to sound harsh, but what your doing now isn't going to get your anywhere. Try something nice and simple, and post it when your finished..

you should work on your throw a bit more before you start putting it up anymore. look at pictures of goood throw ups so you can get a better idea of what they look like. before you start trying to get loose with your letters in your pieces you need to practice writing straight simple letters first. loose the quotation marks. at least your not getting too crazy with anything so thats good.
