that makes sense. Ok I&#39;ll tell ya what I think. Your letter structure looks pretty good to me. Most people will tell people to go simple and shit. With you I think it&#39;s the other way around. You have a basic letter structure going, so why not spice it up a bit? Do some add-ons or extensions. Focus on more detail, and try some intricate fills. Maybe you&#39;ll come up with something you like that burns.

excelent advise thats exactly how I picked my word just picked the letters I really like and made sure the word flows just because I word sounds cool or whatever dosnt make it a good word its all about the letters and being able to make it flow.

segway, work on trying to get your letters to flow more.

Jugga, it was an alright attempt, and you seem to be starting simple, but my advice is to you is go simple like the buttons on your keyboard simple. Or look at segways sketches, that kind of simple. Try and make them the same height and have the letters look the same, not completely different letterforms in 1 sketch. Start with basic fills. Though I&#39;de work on the letters somewhat before really coloring it. Slowly your letterform will develope, then you can add style on it throughout your time writeing. Another thing, once you somewhat have down some solid looking letters try and get them to flow together. Post what you&#39;ve accomplished once your done....

Try to not use so much add ons and all that....
Takes away from the letters...

If you&#39;re gonna use all those add ons, I suggest getting a more dominant letter structure...
That doesn&#39;t get overwhelmed by the arrows...

but I&#39;m liking it...

first off thats NOT as simple as it can get, bark is much more simple and was much better, it looks lik you dont even care when you fraw is the thing man, and ur 3-D is messed up on the C, where the fuck did it go? lol nonetheless it was much better than your last one, just put some effort into it dammit, and when it comes to colouring either do a good clean job, or dont colour at all, much better still tho, keep up the work

somethin to try to do when you do 3D is to get all the lines goin in one direction cuz on your R on the bottom of the round part it should be more slanted left but you got it going straight down. when you were drawing it you probebly thought it would look wierd if you made it like how the other lines are. but my 3D always looked like that but when i started to do it where all the lines no matter where they were, were going in the same way it looked better

How&#39;s this look for a tag? I know that there isn&#39;t much to it and someone is going to tell me to get rid of the arrows (and the dot). And since this is only my second post, i&#39;ve been into graffiti for a while but never had the time to do it. I met another guy here that does it and goes by Sez. After I met him I started to make time for it. Now I try to sketch a lot to get a style down and go out and just &#39;practice&#39; I guess. I&#39;ve only been doing it for about 2 months.

Thats better than your first. You still have to make them look slightly more simple. Don&#39;t work on adding anything untill your letter structure is nice. Just keep working on them and It&#39;ll pay off in the long run. Gotta keep the 3d looking good, You know to do a proper 3d right?, if not make a vanishing point dot and connect the edges of your letters and the cut the 3d off going in that direction, Like how your 3d is cut off on your letters.

Practice on paper before you hit the streets, atleast a few months, dont ask other people how to make your style better or what to add, then there will be no originality to graffiti, its not all about the letters or the shape or size, its mainly about placement, its about fitting your mark into what ever your doing it on and letting the object compliment your style, dont hit personal property only government, marking personal prop will either get you a bad name or beat up, so stick with shit like telephone poles or manholes, those also can run the longest, dont think that just because you are a good graffiti artist you are a good person, and dont think you arnt as good a person as some one just cause they are better then you with the art, dont let the better ones get you down, let them inspire and draw out your creation...but dont bite, graffiti is a complexly simple thing, there are many un written rules and respects behind it, you must take into consideration what everone else says but yet still have your own twist that is not something you heard from someone, but something that your inside shouts out at you, dont do graffiti unless you have a true interest, clean your caps, shake your cans, refill your markers, and eat your greens Pz.

Speaking of that, I just ordered some caps off BS and My art teacher gave me left over poster board 4&#39;x8&#39; So ill be using that.

Also, is it alright if i use regular spray paint as a primer do i need the spray paint that says primer on it, because i dont have any buckets to buff the old paint on my one board.

yea, def get a bigger board and just work on quick throws first, but before that just work on your sketches some, the last one isnt bad, just work on your E and N some. and just keep going. nice and simple.
and the paint, work on like quick outline throws first before going all 4 color crazy. then do like 2 color throws. fill then outline. simple.
but youve got a good idea so far. just save the paint til later bro. and kee working at it.

masterlit: bucket paint is way cheap, go to the dented/mistint (oops paint) area- its 5 bucks for a gallon. youd be wasting money and spray by buffing with cans

toxus, you need to get solid straights down before addons like ill said. from there (im not an expert on this so take this with a grain of salt) you look for ways to extend parts of the letter while keeping the flow intact

runci your shit looked off the hook before you colored it. I think you went a little crazy while coloring. You got ur lettering and flow down pretty good but you need to work on coloring. Try basic stuff like a one color fill with an outline and forcefield, and or effects(ex. 3d shine yada yada), trust me it will look alot more clean and fresh.Just like everyone says start simple with letters, start simple with colors and work your way up.Your crap is dope man just work on the coloring.

Phreak- Im feeling your sketches and the direction your going with em, my adivce would be to pull off some finished ones, at least ink em and put on tha outline and than erase and clean everything up see how it loosk simplified when everything is clean and finished and than post that up. You have a decent style developing the first one is moving towards an Anti Matter type ish its dope I would just loose some arrows, and your letters the same size...keep at it

I actually made it for the cover of my sketch book, so I wanted it to look good. reason I am posting in here is because whenever I post in the Picture gallery I get 2 respnonses being either im a toy or its biten....
