Heres a movie I just picked up from Blockbuster called Transit. Its about graffiti but in a "Hollywood" kinda way. Heres the description:

In the dangerous milieu of street violence and crime, Richie Jimenez, otherwise known as Mozart, is an extremely talented graffiti artist who's trying hard to stay straight. This isn't easy as the writers he is surrounded by are getting increasingly caught up in gangs, retiring their spray cans for a much more precarious existence. Mozart is unwittingly involved when his older brother, himself a recognized writer, is struck down by an errant bullet from a vigilante's gun. Mozart vows to stay clean after this shocking wake-up call, but his best friend Shifty shows up with an ill-advised scheme to settle a beef with a rival crew. Events spin out of Mozart's control and he knows it's time to walk away, but when things get personal, Mozart questions the feasibility of that course of action.

I also found this one last week called "Against the Wall aka Quality of Life" that was also about graffiti, it was a good movie but they could have been alot more graffiti. Anyone else seen this?

i used a krylon gold which was fairly drippy but pretty thick, like one spray wudnt be see thru, then i used cheap gold and i had to spray over the line like 5 times to get it not see thru

Krylon drips too much for me but I use anypaint so I dont care. And racking is impossible in NYC so just shut up with that.

the scanner things at the door, what exctly makes them go off. is it just regular barcode labels that havent been scanned, or is only those metal thingys you find in cd cases and such. ive racked plenty from micahels/homedepot/etc....but they dont have the scanner things.



edit-doomsayer, highpressure is your generic cans, the stuff you pick up at hardware stores;rusto, krylon, etc. low pressure includes montana, belton, alien, etc. these can are more for detail artists who are looking for either good colors, or easy paint to work with. alien is the lowest pressure can available and is practically drip proof unless ur stoned out of your mind or brain dead.

bore 719- umm no only the sticky metal strips make it go off, or the lil things they attach to clothes. the regular barcodes don&#39;t. but wen u rack paint, take the cap off, cuz they can put the metal things inside, but they usually never put em on cans anyway.

about krylon and rusto, it&#39;s all personal preference
ny fats - This fat cap was favored on Krylon cans but works well with Montana and Fits on most brands of paint but leaks on Rust-Oleum Cans.. It can come out the size of a softball, and is sometimes called a "Softball" cap. Its also good for flares & fades.

ny thins -medium thin line Classic American Skinny Cap. Outline Cap fits on almost all brands of paint with High Pressure valve. Sometimes called "Testors Cap, & "Phantom Cap".

I posted them there because that&#39;s where most battles begin is toy beef. I&#39;d like to sticky it but it&#39;s not enough info to warrant that. I&#39;ll just have to remind people to check there when they want to battle.

Rane- I am planning to do that. I&#39;m just preppin the soldiers first. Some I&#39;ll probably throw up with no speech bubbles, hot spots will get that sentence or a tag.

i bought a brand spanker straight from UK and it worked fine, if your getting a copy get it from UK and not US, us ones are different and wont work for some reason, UK&#39;s are fine.

its a pretty mad game, it made me see alot more possible places thatd be a chalange to hit by the way you can climb poles and shit.

Alive- thanks yo. I think I&#39;m gonna keep putting up the "Hugs not Thugs" saying with it, since that seems to really get peoples attention. I was on the news as soon as I put up one of those posters, so I might as well keep going with it. My main objective is to keep a positive message to my campaign. I&#39;m in a small city in the midwest right now. There were only a couple writers here before me that didn&#39;t get up much, now theres a dozen or so. Before that I was raised up in Seattle. My age? I&#39;m 29&#33; :lol: I&#39;m the forum granddaddy&#33; As far as painting, I&#39;ve done a dozen or so freights and I have a strong hobo moniker dispatch rolling around. I did a wall once, didn&#39;t like it. Mostly I focus on wheatpasting tho, before that I had alot of stickers and stencils. I try and keep my shit well rounded. ;) That&#39;s about it. Now ya know Ceez a little better yo. :) I&#39;ll work on a Coerce and a Coer tag for ya when I restock on markers. I&#39;m outta ink right now.

i wouldnt write cru/crew tbh as real crews are a very large part of graffiti.

but your letters are very un styled there just plain old bubble letters, try striaght letters get the basis 4 a letter then add bits an take away stuff big block letters etc

Anywayz I was wondering if anyone knows exactly how much you would use in your krink. It says on the bottle that you hafta use like alot to get it to work correctly and I know its not gonna be perfect ya know,but the bus stops around here have this glass thing that they use to advertise shit and Ive hit the same ones over and over with everything and they buff the shit, so I wanna make sure I make a "lasting" impression.
Any hints, tips, or help will be much appreciated.

you don&#39;t add it to krink (atleast im pretty sure you don&#39;t) you use the shit straight from the bottle to the marker, be careful though b/c cops take a picture of every etch tag b/c it&#39;s exspensive to replace a window, b/c there is no buffing etch

If you&#39;re talkin about those scrawl pens (wax) then I&#39;ve heard good things. But save yourself some money and use candles.

Both options are hard to buff and if used well can look real nice.

nah i tried a turkey baster lmao and i got ink all over the sink and i just tried to take a straw and suck it into there then put it in the whole and it wont go into the pen idk why it came out and got all over my sink so now i got a black sink that i cant get clean and no pen :(

You can get it at any crafts store but its expensive as fuck, like 30 dollars for the 12oz one. It was my understanding that you mix it with krink so It actually does a regular mark, only after they buff it its etched. But then Mine just said you use it straight.
I dunno tho, cause on 12oz Prophet there was a news story and it showed pics of before and after the tag was buffed and the one dude definatley used silver krink. I guess it could work either way.
You do have to have the understanding that this shit can cause serious chemical burns to skin and eyes.. I mean the shit is dangerous so be carefull. Thats why its such a big deal because they&#39;re afraid if someone leans against a wet etch tag that its gonna burn em and shit.

And if anyone has an exact recipie please help me out, Im thinkin of just experimenting so any help is still much appreciated.

dont get washable sharpies lol i was using them in my black book and i got a bunch of stickers and forgot they were washable so i put in all this work on these stickers and slapped em it rained once and they were all gone :(

Today for lunch I had a falafel kebab. I can make a lot of pasta dishes. A lot of Asian food can easily be made vegan, same with Indian food. Italian food as well, just hard with cheese.

I&#39;m not from America, I&#39;m from New Zealand. We don&#39;t really have our own cusine either, the native people do a little though, but it&#39;s not that commonly eaten.

Over here we can get these vegan hot dog weiners. They taste really similar to real hot dogs. I&#39;ve even given them to a few meat eaters and they said they taste really similar to meat. I can make an awesome vegan hot dog with those.

Yeah, they have these little cubby holes with seperate markers in them. One hole would have like 7-12 blue Prismas. Then they would have baby blue right next to it then green, yellow, red, and so on. I just picked the colors I wanted at the time and put them in my pocket. Walked right out. Fuckers are exspensive too.. Like 3 dollars and some change a pop. And yeah they had the packs that come in a 100 and shit. But it was a little big to slip into my pocket.
