Tommorow i&#39;m planning on racking the town center for all it&#39;s worth, then i&#39;m going to a town down south by bus. My plan is to meet my boys by bus, gathering there supplies then bunking the bus to the last stop which happens to be the stop 2 minutes walk from the bus yard which also happens to be a 5 minute walk to the town center with all the hardware stores and shit... don&#39;t write so sketchy, when you draw (graffiti at least) use consise, straight lines, it makes for a cleaner-looking sketch. in regards to the letters, the i is the best letter there, the a and the s suck, the r is ok. get rid of the little leg thing poking up from the bottom right of the a, and work on having a certain style to your letters, like, try and make them flow, they should all have the same kind of look to them.

Also you missed the 3-D on the dot of the I. And yea like meeter said keep your lines straighter and less sketchy. You can have them like that to begin with but once you are done clean it up and pick just one set of lines.

i agree. now, you need to work on your drop-shadow. i&#39;ve said this many a time and i&#39;ll probably say it many more, shadow is REALLY easy once you understand it.. all it is is the same image, layered underneath and slightly to another direction (left, for your instance).

Get more technical ( if you really think you&#39;re ready ) by slowly putting on your own addons, try to stay away from arrows, but go with simple shapes attached and flowing to your letters

using fat caps will kill a can faster then using stock caps. since the nozzle is more spead out, to fill it it has to spray faster, using more paint... lol another cap question, whats the best shit to clean caps with, i heard vinegar somewhere but im not sure.. i have a limited supply, otherwise i would just get new ones.

they have this graffiti remover shit at home depot or lowes or something ... comes in a spray can ... just put your cap on there and spray for like 5 seconds ... cleans it right out

I&#39;ve invented a new way to 1) Improve your handstyle 2) Decorate your room without messing shit up.

Get a decent sized calender, and just turn it round and use the back on the sheets to bomb on. You can also do a new handy each month and see how you&#39;re improving (if any), and also use it as a sick calender (if youre any good).

I did one or two sick canvas&#39;s I took time on, the plans and design and all that,
then sold em to a couple friends for new supplies and Im about to do a couple new ones now.

I like Painter&#39;s Touch because they got lots of colors but American Accents has some nice ones that PT doesn&#39;t have... Basically anything from Rustoleum is what they mean when talking about Rusto... If you like a color it shouldn&#39;t really matter if it&#39;s American Accents or Painter&#39;s Touch... really sloppy but you get the idea. highlights can also be on the opposite side of the letters, depending on which way the shadow points.

now just work on shaping your letters so they have some sort of style to them.
maby make the really curved with sharp points or really hard angles.

i woould suggest finding a peice you like and trying to take that style and make it your own.
obvioiusly not just copying it, but its just a style you can easily produce the same style
without biting the person who painted the orgiginal peice.

hrees a really simmple example i did the last night.
was supposed to be going for the oldschool feel not sure bout it though.
but this is basically how i did it - i looked at a lot of old school walls and blackbooks
and got a feeling how i wanted my letters to be, simple just coming out on the ends.
then i sketched it and then filled it with the same oldschool kinda feel to it.
im not too happy with it so take it with some salt.

You can download the google video ones to your hard drive but I&#39;m pretty sure you won&#39;t be able to write it to a dvd-r to watch in a dvd player.

The &#39;A&#39; in your tag isn&#39;t too bad, the rest of the letters need work though.

It doesn&#39;t seem to have changed much since the first time you posted it.

I think you should write it literally thousands of times. Get an old magazine and write it in every clear space on the page there is. Use your arm instead of your wrist. Try holding your pen slightly different ways, try writing it faster or slower, just keep fucking around with it little bits a time and see what happens.

Also look at other peoples tags and think what you like/dislike about them. Try writing your tag in other peoples styles, don&#39;t bite their style and claim it as your own though.

The thing is ive never been there before hell Ive never been to a yard. Is it likely that other writers will be there? What would be the best time to go ? If your caught in a train yard is there anything the workers can do?
By the way its in Newnan Ga if any of you have heard of it at all its like 10 15 mins from atlanta

Things to consider...

1.- You can drive to a trainyard, but finding a legitimate place to park is the tricky part. Suspisious cars can get you caught.

2.- If there is graffiti in your town, then there might be writers in your yard. but to know better, I&#39;d say check in the main picture gallery forum for an Atlanta thread. If they have one, ask around and scan the thread.

3.- If you&#39;re painting, the best time to go is at night. I usually go to the yards around 3am, but you can never really be sure when railworkers are there so keep your head up, and scope your surroundings hard, cuz yeah, you can get into shitloads of trouble and all major railroads have Bulls (rail police) that would love to get a hold of your ass.

Freights are a risky buisiness, but rewarding. Don&#39;t go painting freights till you learn more about them tho. There&#39;s rules. Check Tools and tips forum for a thread about Trainyards. ;) It&#39;s there somewhere.

Dont leave anything that will tell the workers that someone has been there like dont leave cans dont test your paint on the tracks. Cord- chill kid. Your oppinion is your oppinion. I don&#39;t think it validifys any particular truth to your statement that writing ONE is "gay" because the old school kings didn&#39;t use it. Alot of things have changed since then anyway. I haven&#39;t seen that many Cope2 slap tags or Dondi wheatepastes, but I don&#39;t see anyone rallying those things to be classified as "gay", but whatever. If you don&#39;t like it, don&#39;t write it. I don&#39;t even use it in my tag that often, but I happen to like the word.

Anyway, getting older is finally starting to change my direction in this subculture. I was gonna buy a bunch of different inks today, Krink, Garvey, Grog, and whatnot, but then I found this for my babys nursery and got it instead. I&#39;m gonna collect cars for it and paint them. One and Oner have nothing to do with crew status... There are Oner&#39;s in crews. One is simply to add a little extra something to a tag and to let cats know you&#39;re first. Although so many people write it now, it probably doesn&#39;t even ring true anymore. It&#39;s just something to write.

i found a online graff shop in australia and im gunna order some caps, with some paint too. i was wondering, will i need more than one of each cap? cause at the moment i only have one cap with is a deadoarant can cap and i use that for outlines and its never become clogged (i always spray the paint upside down) so yeah, will i need more than one cap of each cause my friend reckons thay will always get clogged or something...

these past 2 nights have been great.
last night i went out in the night with Awoke and got mad fucking ups with mops and my split black/pink streaker.
we walked probably about 6 miles total just hitting everything we see. went through 1 refill of the mop and almost used up the 2nd fill. awoke got some mad ups too, hitting shit and gettin clever with signs fitting A W O K E across 5 signs. it was really good. we even hit a truck without noticing a cop car chillin behind a bush across the street. i say we repped WAW and our names pretty fucking good that night.
and then tonight i was walking home from another city and had to walk to the transit station. so ont he 3 mile walk i just got up on boxes and signs like crazy. even busted a lean over and hit these pillars on the station with "I O N I" on 4 of the pillars. shit will be there for days i bet hahah.
word for some help on gettin up with tags..

mops > flowpens

so much easier to bust shit out and refill and just make things look more ill.
