i remember when i was starting, i was just like you with that, getting real pissed over one fucked up marker n shit, but ive realized now, if your eevr gonna be real, its gonna take more paint, more markers, then i can really fucking imagine. more then you or i can afford certainly. youll have to rack en masse. if you dont think youll ever be at the level where youll want to be real like that, really painting every day, then quit now, cuz what the fuck is the point.


the dude worried abt prismas bleeding into eachother, i believe the real answer tothat is to get an oil based outlining pen or something, and ink the outline first, then the alchohol based prismas will be stopped by the oil and kept in the line. then be mad careful, and only ink a millimeter away from the line and let it bleed up to the outline, instead of marking it there.

i was painting in some spot(first time painting lol),then i nearly got caught cause 2 security guys were comming and spotted me so i left quickly,i came back near the spot later and they were still there,so i left and came back home.I only made the first letter of my piece(only fill no outline etc...) and i didnt had time to go on the second letter.Should i go and finish my piece tomorow or find another spot to bomb?

South Pole: do your best to finish it, many say nvr leave a piece unfinished if possible, but if those security guards know you were thier and shit they might be a step ahead and be thinking that you might come back...since you havnt done much to it yet(if it was small where youve started), and dont wanna feel the shame of leaving something unfinished, go back and put a quick karak over it, like just a black and white one, or a large stencil. that way you still get up quickly and not have an unfinished throwie...id only do this if you dont think you cant take the extra time to do something large(throwie) or if your sketchy bout that spot(which im sure you are now)...basically the quicker the better in a situation such as your should get the job done

one count felony trafficking, one count misdemeanor resisting arrest, i got set up by a friend, in nevada they have the "three and your free" law with the dea so i got fucked. the da wanted to send me to the pen for 1-4 but my public defender ended up getting it reduced to felony probation and two months county time.

and those are probably only a quarter of what i sketched in there, the only reason i got those out is cuz i mailed them to my home address (why they're all fucked up and folded on).

Hey i didnt know where to put this question but you cant in the new to graff thread. But i wanted to know when doing 3d on a piece, can each letter have a different vanishing point or do they all have to go the same way. And after you have the outline and are ready for 3d. do you put it just on the sides or top and bottom or can you put it on a corner? Im confused and everybody keeps sayin look at the new to graff thread but been there done that. Any help would be nice. kthx.

this sorta question is for story but thanks for putting it here and not cluttering up one of the other threads.

With 3D you SHOULD only have one vanishing point or the all the '3D lines' need to be on the same angle. But in saying that I've seen people use multiple, very different, vanishing points and you can't really notice, but it's quite a skill to get this to work. Single vanishing point is the better way to go.

I don't reall get what you're asking in the second part but are you asking where to put the vanishing point or 3D lines?

The vanishing point can be anywhere you like, behind the piece, above it, shit you can even imagine it's down the road if you like.

If you're asking about the 3D lines you should put them where there should be 3D. Do your outline, choose a vanishing point. On your letter draw a line from each corner to the vanishing point, you'll see what 3D needs to be covered by the letter and what needs to be shown, then you'll have to decide where to cut off your 3D.

outiles - extra fine deco, sharpie. personnally i use a dual Identi-Pen by Sakura

and for the prismas, u ever so slighy bring the colours together ( but not at a hard line, look at my new piece in tot bbooks to see wat i mean) then soften the lines with a colourles blender

so my sisters birthday is coming up and sees as tho im kinda broke im thinking about doing her a lil canvas. so i was thiknig, if i had a dark background it woudl be kinda hard to sketch on it, so i was thinkin of doing the sketch on paper then putting it on the canvas while i do my background so i have my overall outline of the sketch and just doing my background around it. decent idea or no. last time i attempted a canvas i just set the background on in aa light color, sketched it on and then when i was fillin my decos were being all gayand streaky if i went over em and im thinkin it was to do with the paint alredy on the canvas, but yeah. just wondereing how yall go about it.

Seyar, pencil does show up reasonably well on on dark backgrounds cause it does have that sligt metallic-ness to it. Try it out, might work.

second. economic paint, walmart, and som rustos dont work with all the caps. economic is shit with the pinks.

HMC from michigan. Completly different crew. I have a couple belton & two montana cans. I've been taggin with this mini american accent can; it's does a real nice flair with the orange dot. I just can't seem to get that circle... I get it to go from skinny to real fat, that's about it. I do have pinks & astros but I like the orange. I'll just keep practicing; I was just wondering if there was something that I wasn't doing. Thanks.

i always get the circle when i work with pink dots. "i was talkin bout a hmc in cali" i think it just mainly revolves around what cans ur usin. when u buy a montana or belton they usualy come with a pink dot and it always gives me the circle.

the tar paint from belton has that circle you like. with the stock pink dot and the can. just point it perfectly straight at the wall and u should have that lil circle you like

You can only buy a marker on bs is your have a credit card and a car to drive you to the post office to pick it up(im pretty sure) and all the markers are good its all your choice man id get a molotow marker if i were you.

and 2) Caps are clean able if your talking clean the outside to make 'em look new just get like a sewing needle and scratch it off but if your talking clean the inside right after you use it take and empty can that still has pressure and put it on there and spray it for awhile

To be honest I'd only buy markers that are filled with ink from this site. As a general rule paint markers clog easily.

You can clean caps, throw them in some solvent ie acetone, paint thinner etc. Let them soak overnight. This usually cures most clogs, throw them on an empty can and blow some gas through them, the helps push any shit out, you can use an air gun hooked up to an air compressor for this as well, just watch that the dot doesn't fly out. Some caps clog beyond repair though.

Yeah, you can rack gloves from the doctors/dentists or from the gas station but IMO those ones are shit, they fall apart when the come into contact with solvents (ie paint). Check out hardware stores for the solvent-resistant ones. They're not completely solvent resistant but hold up a lot better than the doctors ones.

get out like 10 pieces of blank paper, than write each name and/or the letters and fill up those 10 pages. reflect back on all of them and see which letters come more naturally to you or how much you enjoy writing those letters. hope that helps.
