And I'm sure as everyone knows unless u roll the wall that crap paint just soaks right in like nothing was ever sprayed...is it the same way with the higher quality paint like molotow, montana, and ironlak? I'm not talking about a wall that has alot of paint on it already, i'm talking about a clean area...

paint rollers and platic paint holders are lik 1.50 at walmart and mistints can be bought at nearly any paint store for usually under 5-10 bucks... go to your parents house and look in the garage, free buff paint!!

To an extent. Obviously if your using higher quality paint, its going to be more opaque. But again it will just soak alot of it up anyway if its on concrete.

ne1 frequently use color place? i use rusto and i just do a barcode switch on all the cans i wana get with the dollar cans. color place is a dollar too but it comes in a lotta colors and like 95% of the caps available work on it. hows the coverage and shit with it on most surfaces? is it just as good as rusto or is it shit quality

I told the colorplace thread the day I heard the silver and gold were gone. I loaded my car up with cases. I bought basically all the silver within a 60 mile radius.

The stuff works like ass on concrete or any material. The silver and gold are different. The caps from here at BS dont work really good with it either. I popped a bunch of oranges and pinks dont do shit on them. None of the fats work good on them. Not NEARLY like it does on rusto.

Stick with rusto for the love of god. 33% more white and black is what I use. And its sticker than an infant with swine flu and 99 dollar nike shocks.

I dont understand who these people who love colorplace are, admittedly the gold and silver at least, used to work good, but otherwise that paint is shit. I've never seen anything painted with it that didnt look like someone was spraying paint mixed with water through a bendy straw.

very toy of me to ask. i was just wondering, how long would would you advise to stick with simples, shadowing, 3d and such? I've been sticking with getting a general feel for lettering, writing the alphabet out in simple form, doing BAR letters, then somewhat introducing a sense of my own style to try n get a hand style for myself, but I'm wondering if that's getting ahead of myself. advice would be appreciated. depends on the supplies you use. whatcha eyeballin?
most screens should at least last awhile. see the thing is if you use a screen and you want to try to store the design, then your out a screen to print something else. or you can "recover" that screen and make a new design on it.
i've had some screens done with cheap ass speedball diazo stuff for 3 years i just have to go through and plug pinholes everytime i wanna use em.

heavy use, or writing on brick and rust and shit is going to cause it to fuck up in days.

not using it much, or smooth glass and metal will keep it going for a while.

The sharpies here in the states are not real bad. You can get hooked up on the right day with a set of basic colors and some cool metallic ones thrown in for like 8 or 9 bucks. Definitly get them in a pack. For like 10 - 18 bucks. You can get like 24 or some shit for that much.

I am no expert, but for prismas I think you need to get the blending marker. That's pretty much all I know, I could be totally wrong.

honestly? I dont think so either... what i think is that public space contains public visual space, that should be free for artwork graff, or otherwise. That advertising has taken over without our permission, which is debateable. i just think that advertising should be illegal because it does nothing for us as a society that isnt based in greed, while art can do alot just sitting there. This is the area of controversy. I think assigning a monetary value to our public visual space, when we should have that space to interact with and to use to interact with each other, is and should be considered a violation of our rights. That doesnt mean every thought that comes into everyones head, meaning like you said running amok, but it does mean for me, that pieces and even good throws and things like deuce 27 does should have a right to be there as much as another mural of oxen pulling something or collages of past events.

We should talk the fucking talk and be a truly free and progressive society. We should have art on any surafce that doesnt serve some purpose in which it would need to be free of that kind of obstruction, if possible. Yeah...sketching will get you style eventually, but no matter how many times you write your name, its not going to give you practice with a can. People always say the only way to get better with a can is to go out and hit walls. Thats 99% true. You can't practice piecing in your basement or some shit, but a few minutes with 2 scrap cans and a piece of plywood or scrap canvas learning to cut sharp lines will do wonders if you've never learned it.

Hey guys, I've been writing (and by writing, i mean sketching in books) the name Fero. To me it sounds cool and I don't think anyone writes that but the problem is that I am having so much fucking trouble with the 'F' I mean, I would be easier if the 'F' was the last letter of the name but I just can't get it right..
Theres this really good writer I know and he helped me a few times and with his handstyles, he would reverse the 'F' and make it sort of look like a 7. I really liked it but it does not look good on a throw up (my throwies anyways..)

thats the worst, i did a throwup with no gloves in minus 30 degrees one morning while it was snowing and then i had to walk 20 minutes back home, the tips of fingers were green for the next couple days haha
