I have been experimenting on canvas for about a year now. This is the first time I have used Piant markers, and also the first time I have felt somewhat confident about the results. Let me know what ya&#39;ll think. I think the input will help shape the direction I am trying to go in.

the thing is i dont have any stuff at the mo lol i only have 2 cans pink and dark pink/purple. 4 caps 1 ny fat, 1 rusto fat, 1 german outline and a pencil cap thing. I cant get cheap paint markers cos every shop is cheap and sell em for loads like 3.50 pound say 5 dollars. But the canvas is like 12 pound for a metre squared 40 inches by 40 inches. Thats the cheapest i can get it for near me.

soz double post lol im half way through my first canvas using water colours to do the background sorta making an old school fill background thing lol then im gonna do this 3d peice on it. I will post a flic when the background is done and then when its completley finished.

Canvas + spray paint = waiste
Spray paint on canvas CRACKS and falls appart eventualy, use masonite boards theyre a WAY CHEAPER than canvas....

For paints, got to the dollard store to get paints and brushes
use found primer and get your brushes at the hardware stores

art stores are just expensif for nothing

I wanted to get an abstract weird look to it and i think i got the weird look lol. I used watercolours and markers for the background. A stencil for the pink on the peice and a purple marker for the darker colour on the peice.

Can everyone give me some pointers and stuff.

Why does doing it with spray paint make it any more amazing? Any medium takes practice and time to accomplish. Learning how to use aerosol is just as challenging as learning how to use any medium.

decos work fine, gotta pump them upside down in some places of the world due to pressure. painters work better cuz colors dont really mix together. i had some clay pot markers that were dope

ya they are tight. yall can also try using DecoColor Fabric markers. they flow really good on canvas. Their Black is the nicest ive used for Canvas. but their White is a lil bit on the clear/thin side
