decos work, but if you're really any good, molotow markers are much better than decos. also, when using white, those elmer painter things are better than deco white.

decos are straight on canvas sometimes...you have to be gentle with them tho and not push down hard cuz it smudges the paint when your tryin to do fills but molotov markers are pretty dope love the variety of colors and the quality of them but not the price :mad:

exactly decos are free. I think molotov markers would be a tad bit harder to rack then decos.

colours got pulled when i took tha flick..theres a couple oranges in tha background that you cant see in this picture...and the white is way more distinguishable in person...too bad..the canvass looks half decent in person , picture smshes all the similar colours together..oh well...for my kids room...im not a huge canvass person

I actually just drew tha letters out on construction paper and cut them out with scissors...then did tha background of tha canvass and found a glue stick and carefully glued them, ripped a couple...then I stole a black eyeliner type makeup thing in my girls perse , looked like a fuckin pen to me ...worked tha same , caught a tounge lashing for using it for that but it worked tha same as a pen....so ya....all in all ,a pretty budget canvass ,but im hyped

I think it needs more depth in the background, the green/pink one is cool

what do you think i should do ...to me they are both the same background only different colours...the pink one cracked on tha bottom left by me using an old paint and spraying mostly aerosol and a little paint...do you think if i take the two lighter colours in tha backgrounds and drip them where the two blend together that it will give it more depth?so it would be blended with a little drips to break a straight blend effect... I dunno , only thing I can think that would give it more depth without doing too much...

i would toss a darker color over then a medium color if you have one because that last orange you tossed on is very vibrant and will still be visible in just smaller blotches i think it would look ill but just an idea

thats because its fall.... i want it depressing...summer is vibrant and the sky is on fire
winter will be blues and whites because of snow and spring will have a blue background with some rain...I got an idea for tha background I might do to fix this "boring lazy" look ...i can see it too...remember these canvases are tiny so I really dont want to ove work them ...and a fuckup on something this small would ruin the entire thing

I see no problem with digital though, it simply completes jobs that human hands are not capable of. Finding new tools to create artwork with is not something to shit on.

I find it kind of annoying when people question my anatomy though, obviously I intentionally made it inaccurate. I didn't make their hands and head huge because I have no concept of anatomy, I did it because that is how I wanted it to look.

anyway I think it's good...I'ts a cool idea and you're obviously causing talk because it has reached people to some degree.. unlike 87% of what is posted.

Ah, I got ya; I see what you mean. Usually when people have issues with my anatomy it's because certain limbs are too big, but that's like saying Popeye is a poorly designed character because he has big forearms. ha. Sweet, thanks for a good critique.

Yeah I get what Salty is saying, but I write code for music visualizers as well, and stuff like that does not happen without computers, except for things like putting sand on a speaker or whatever, but that limits you to only what sand on a speaker can do, not too much.

If it's out of a gallery, I definitely wouldn't be selling it to someone for nearly that much.

I've got friends who own a large format printing business, so I get the 'friend price' which helps a lot, but another way too lessen the money burn is getting printed canvas on its own and stretching it yourself.

so i colored over it like three times, paint ended up getting nasty and
the original design of the robot got lost. Anyways I like the idea and

i like alot...but i did like the original aswell but in a personal opinion the second take is better simply for the reason its graffiti on the walls...brings more of a legitimized take to it considering the scenery is a subway station....but insted of throws IF your gunna do a 3rd take try rocking a full scale piece...or jus bring the grime to the station for tht more lived in look nah i mean...like throw a cardboard box wea a bum could live at and just sum grease stains with a tag or two and have nothing on the walls minus a drip tag or two...but yea thts jus an idea
