in my opinion thats a waste of a cnavas man. you would usually use canvas for the texture, not just to paste stuff on. i would use cardboard for stuff like that, you know?

whatever man, about the last one did you re draw the tunnel, or did you print it out and paste it on? it looks nice

I don&#39;t like your stuff DNA. Alot of &#39;art&#39; coming out these days is random slaps of paint and reprinted letters at odd angles. I prefer art that actually takes talent, rather than cuting and pasting a newspaper picture of a trrain onto a sheet of newspaper and then stuck on canvas. Man i did that in art and craft in pre-school. People who say that it&#39;s not about what it looks like it&#39;s about what it says are, in my opinion, idiots. Visual art is VISUAL, visual arts is all about looking good. In my opinion alot of the canvases i&#39;ve seen are total shit. vegimite, i totally respect your opinion, last trimester i went around school with my friend holding up signs that said "what is art?" and it was adressing things that you were saying. what exactly is classified today as art. i mean is graffiti art? and those modern art peices that are just one big blue canvas? what is classified as art today. some people think some things are art but not something else, but someone may think the opposite. alot of it is just opinions. and about that art that is like 3d block letters that you can find on skate magazines and other peices of art that are really sktechy and look like doodles from Napoleon Dynamite
and dcite, drips/splatters/smudges/etc are TOTALLY played out on this forum. i cant say that they are played out elsewere because i dont know. but poeple like Selm use drips or something else in almost each and every one of their peices.(no beef intended, just using him as an example)

theres a whole style of art thats based around this, i forgot what its called but i happen to really like it (if its done well). saying that this style is played out would be like saying any other form of art that is done by more that one artist is played out. just cos people like doing it and have fun dosent really mean its "played out". if thsi were the case wouldnt bombing be played out?, since its just a bunch of people writing their names on a wall in bubble letters with paint.

but about selling your shit, in busy cities just go downtown and put some up on display, and sit there and paint a canvas

talk to cafe&#39; about selling shit for you, most of them will support alternative art.

art shows of course, any graff competitions you can set shit up too sell

or even galleries are good

it also helps a ton if you don&#39;t just paint graffiti

acrylics, assorted colors
paint brushes
materials.... i glue on lots of stuff on mine
stencils.... letter/number stencils
paint pens, painters work well
and kamar varnish by krylon it protects the painting

ok you almost got the letters right the "T" is almost the exact same letter as the "T" in my tag the R is just obvious... and the "e" on the canvas is a small "e" not capital.If u can see it the letters look good.
